Twin Sitters-Underrated Movie

 

      Around the 90's there was this movie starring two body building twin actors named David and Peter Paul. 

    They starred in movies back in the 90's one of them I remember more called "Twin Sitters." David and Peter were twins, and they were taking care of Twin boys from their rich uncle who wanted their help. 

   First, I want to talk about the brothers. David and Peter Paul were known as body builders as well as actors. They starred in movies like "Double Trouble", "The Barbarians" and "Think Big" I remember Double Trouble, but that might be it. 

   Sadly, David Paul passed away in 2020. Peter Paul is still alive but rarely seen. He is still alive, just not acting anymore.

   In the movie, David and Peter are body builders who become bodyguards to help a man protect his twin nephews who just lost their mom.

      Their names are Brian and Stanley. They are troublesome and with them being rich, they are homeschooled.

   The actors that portray the twin boys are the same actor that played Christian in "Kindergarten Cop" Both boys are no longer acting. 

   They left to peruse an education and get careers. They both did pretty well in both movies. Playing annoying boys who do tricks as one of them wants to run away and the other doesn't want to disappoint their uncle.

   The only way to get the boys to listen to them, both David and Peter try for the young boys to eat the food they made since they own an Italian Bistro. 

   All they want are PB and J's. They torture them, force them to change their clothes so they can be individuals...eventually getting through to them. They even fall in love with their homeschool teacher.

  The twin boy's uncle has been getting death threats and asks the Barbarian Twins to watch over while he's on a business trip. 

   Near the end, the uncle's business partner ends up kidnapping the boys as well as the teacher. The uncle returns as well as David and Paul with help from their friends, who are also twins. The climax happens on a boat, and the uncle joins in to help save everyone.

   That movie came out in 1995. Almost 31 years now. The boys are all grown up; David sadly is gone, and Peter.....

    He has posted videos on Instagram telling his viewers that he's ok. Even though he misses his brother, he's still active and trying to get back into movies. He starred in a few in the 2010's but the movies weren't memorable enough to remember.

      So, why do I feel this movie is underrated? Well, it's not that memorable and it was the last film both Barbarian brothers made before leaving acting.

    I still remember it, and it's an ok movie. I liked it. The story was good, the acting was memorable, and even now... 31 years later, this movie might not have many fans, but it's still a movie I feel should be seen, along with other Barbarian brother movies.
