christmas lights: how much is too much

If you have ever seen the movie, "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" then you know how many Christmas lights they use on their house.

That's a little  too much in my opinion. But I've seen many people go overboard when it comes to putting up Christmas lights and decorations on their house. And they even leave them there for the whole year.
It seems that if they want to waste their electric bill, that's the only way to go.

Some of our neighbors don't put up lights, just a few decorations and candles on the windows, simplifying it. That's fine, but others go beond, decorating the whole house from the roof to the door. They even decorate around the garage doors and I still think it's not even worth the electric bill every month just to drain the whole neighborhood's electricity.

I've also learned that some people leave their Christmas lights up all year because they have family that has gone to war and want to leave it on all year until they come back alive. It's an interesting factoid but still I'm not one of those people who would want to have all my electricity drained from all the Christmas lights ala "National Lampoons Christmas Vacation"

I love the flickering of the lights in December and love to see the neighbors houses as well every year it can be the same or different and I wouldn't judge if they don't have theres up at all. One of our neighbors goes beyond insane and all out every year and I see the lights from my house, and I hate to see them go away in January. But when Christmas is here, they seem to be the most bright.

Have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful Bright holiday no matter how decorated your house may be. Ciao Bloggers

christmas coming quickly (too quickly)

I blinked, I turned 30, I blink again.. and well 9 days till Christmas

I cannot believe it's almost here and I haven't finished my Christmas shopping yet and it seemed that I am closer and closer to not getting my Christmas shopping done.

My birthday is over but it doesn't mean the holidays are, it has just begun to make us feel crazier and crazier. Next week is Christmas and when it's gone we have a new year to worry about. I just know the presents I got for my family will be something will look forward to in the future.

Christmas is right around the corner and next year we'll be seeing Christmas commercials in October, or better yet, summer. ( Who'd want that)

We are now a year older, a year is going
                             going
                                 going
gone, and it seems next year will go by fast as well.

So much has happened in 2014 so much good, so much bad and I feel as if a timer with sand is showing our last bits of 2014, sand by sand.
Will blog more before the year lets out, but for now hold on to what we have and remember one blink and this year will be gone and another will come. Ciao Bloggers!

saying godbye tto 29 (30 years ago)

Can't believe this week is the last week I will be 29. I cannot believe it is almost here. OMG.

I rarely remember 1984 (mostly because I was born in the middle of December) I just know that 30 years have gone by of my life. Next year, my cousin will experience the same thing.

Almost everything this year had a 30th anniversary from movies to some people that were actually born in 1984 like Katy Perry, Avril Lavigne and even Scarlet JoHansen and I join them on their quest of turning 30.

I find it more happy yet nervous but I think I'll be ok. Having a luncheon and it will be all for ME next Sunday.

I guess being 30 is a new stepping stone for me. Thank god. I just don't remember much of my life.  Rarely much of my life. Life goes by way too fast. In a blink of an eye, just cannot believe this is happening.

Guess having a birthday in December is just a wait forever while others have to wait, while others have to wait longer but still it just feels as if I wait longer since my birthday is in December or then again, maybe it's best to wait then let it fly by out of your eye.

Ghostbusters was in theaters as well as the song "girls just wanna have fun" was playing constantly on walkmans,  1984 Summer Olympics were held Ronald Regan was president,

Olvia Wilde, America Ferrea and I were Born

Won't blog again till I'm 30, maybe after, blogging about Christmas, and how closer and closer it's coming, and next we're we'll be putting up Christmas decorations while we carve the Thanksgiving Turkey. Thnaks for all the 30 years of birthdays I've had and being here today, that's one great gift I never want to go to waste. Thanks. Ciao or now bloggers!

Black Thursday??????

I'm serious! They are getting crazier every shopping year. Now this year is just beyond ridiculous!

Now stores are opening on Thanksgiving around four! on Thanksgiving, What is going on that can't wait for the next day. I mean going on line to holiday shop that's fine but skipping out on Thanksgiving and family? That's not right at all. I've know people that will do that to get a good bargain. I can just wait and find a good deal on Amazon but for now...

it's stupid, not right... and the people that HAVE TO WORK those hours, I feel sorry for them because they would have to eat their turkey feast early or late because they have to work so shoppers can get a good deal. I've heard of black Friday. I don't care for either.

Cyber Monday is ok because you're at home, in your PJ's and you are on websites like Amazon, WalMart and KMart searching for good deals, and hoping that what you find is what makes them happy and you joyful.

But this, it's just insane.. I don't know why people wanna shop on Thanksgiving, I feel it's best spending time with your family and friends than waiting in line for a good deal. But other people feel differently. I don't. Hope you all have all wonderful Thanksgiving. Till then Ciao Bloggers!

how many christmas carol parodies can there be

I know I'm talking about this in the middle of November, but believe me I have already seen too many Christmas commercials and holiday specials to wonder in my mind how many "Christmas Carol" movies are there.

Charles Dickens wrote a classic story about a man named Ebenezer Scrooge and how greedy he can be and a man named Bob Crachet is a kind person with a dying son named Tiny Tim, and with a look in the future by three ghost, Past present and future, Ebenezer finds the true meaning of Christmas. I loved reading it when I was young and now there are so many, and I mean so many versions on TV and movie to mae it a time honor classic, but which is the true best?

So many great actors did a wonderful job portayig Ebenezrer and some deserved an honorable mention like George C. Scott, Kelsey Grammer (he's a great singer), even when doing it with muppets, Michael Caine can portray a great scrooge,

Sometimes cartoons can do a great version of A Christras Carol from Mr. Magoo to that greedy duck voiced by Alan Young. Ernest Borninge, TIm Curry also voiced Ebenezer as well and believe me I thought they did a wonderful job as well, but who would have the best portrayal,
I guess in my opinion, I grew up with the muppets and Michael Caine's portraayl of Ebenezer Scrooge was very good, scaring Kermint (who portrayed Bob Crachet) to work on Christmas day. And the ghost of Christmas yet to come, was like looking into Ebenezer's future. To see what would happen if he doesn't change his way. He never spoke all he did was point at a grave that read "EBENEZER SCROOGE"

When I was little, that scared me, and today, well it still does. And the ghost of Christmas past well there is this girl Ebenezer yes to know that he fell in love with but he loved his money and greed more than her and she would sing a goodbye song, but for some reason there is a song that plays in my head that's from another "Christmas Carol" sung by Kate Winslet called "What if" depicting on what life would had been like if Ebenezer was different and were married, and he wasn't greedy,

There were female versions of Ebenezer. One portrayed by Susan Lucci named "Ebbie" and another named Vanessa Willians in "Ebony"

There are so many versions and we can like a lot and hate a lot but the true story of Ebenezer Scrooge will always remain with the mind of a brilliant man who wanted to show a side of Christmas of a lonely man and what Christmas meant to him. He's gone but the story, even if it is told over, and over and over in different ways; the original will be the most simple one.

  Till then, Ciao bloggers!

what is with all the new tak shows????

I am serious, there are so many talk shows out now. Some in the morning, some at night. Like the view (everyone knows that one) and Kelly and god knows who else is with her. ( I liked it when Regis was there)

Now there are these different and horrible talk shows out now, and so many of them are not that great like  "Wendy Williams show"  "The Chew (which I'm not a fan of) and they talk about food of course

And some celeberities are having their own shows like "Steve Harvey" "Dr. Oz" There is so many to choose from and not many of them need a talk show they just shut up and blog about or something. I'm not a fan of Dr. Oz. Maury's show is just nothing but finding out who's the baby's daddy. It's so sad now. I woudn't be surprised if another celebrity wants her (or his) own talk show. Jeff Probts (host of Survivor) got his own talk show, it got cancelled.
Bethanny (whoever she is) had her own talk show and it got cancelled. Anyone who is anyone would want their own talk show, but it might end up being cancelled. TMZ is not a talk show, but it feels as if it wants to torture celebrities by show ing the most imbarasing moments and believe me it is not funny.

I don't know if I ever wanted a talk show of my own, it doesn't seem as if I want one that despratly, I did before but now, too many just like too many reality shows. What happened to tv? It seems to be getting too real. Ciao Bloggers, for now!

Can I predict te future?

Recently, there was a kidnapping of a woman in Philadelphia and I predicted that she would be found alive, and was somewhat surprised to find out that my prediction came true.

And with antoher kidnapping, I knew they would find the person dead, and I was right again.

Sometimes I surprise myself that I can be right about 70% of the time, but I think its with kidnapping predictions and also celebrity deaths, knowing and predicting two celebrities (one being Joan Rivers) that were famous would die this this year and it happened.

Maybe it's just me or I have a sixth sense that some people "think" they have or know that they are very psychic and have they have their own talk shows.

Sometimes we can't predict the future, but for me, I just don't know why, but I can tell when someone will be ok, or when it's the end of that kidnapped victim. For the ones that were taken a long time ago 35% will be found alive. I don't why, but I know to them, they will come home.

I can even predict animal deaths and someone else's death. I predicted my own dog's death and my neighbor's dog death. Creepy huh. It's just in me. It's not just creeps me out, but everyone else out, I guess it's just a part of me that is special.

Maybe that's why 50% of the time I can predict when a celebrity will die. and the other 50% is just a creepy luck.

I'm not scared to predict how you will die, just enjoy your life while you can, and till then, never worry about the future, because before you know it, it will become the past.

  Ciao bloggers.

Happy Halowee!!! (is Hallowee really scary)

Sometimes I thik how scary ad terrifyig is Hallowee? From the costumes to the movies ad the masks.

How scary ca is get? Whe I saw "Psycho" I did't eve wat to get i the shower let alone a pool of water after seeing the first "Jaws" movie. But now, seeing the remakes of theose movies, not that scary as I thougt it would be.

Movies that are creepy (or trying to be creepy now a days) welll they aren't as scary as I thought they would be.  And people trying to make a buck by showing their house being "Paranormal" I don't know if that's really true but I know for a fact that if it really happened, that would scare someone to death.

The first time they showed the "Exrocist" a lot of people had heart attacks in the theater, and they were scared. And it is played every Halloween night in movie theaters just for a scare. Peole like to be scared on Halloween because they like a thrill and to feel as if they want to be scared.

Wearing costumes now a days, well back them, they were scary like a zombie and a vampire and the devil, but now (although zombies are popularr) you get a lot of disney style costumes from their movies most riecently "Frozen That movies is very popular now a days and they even have sexy costumes for girls and guys and that might be a bit too much these days.

I don't Halloween has lost it's s"Scare" value but I know that itn't as creepy as it use to be. Believe me. Carving pumpkins never grows old with age as well as dressing up and having candy late at night and going to spooky parties. Halloween will never die, but it will lose some of it's scare value one way or another.

   HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Ciao Bloggers!

Thank goodnrss I don't eat Chef Boyardee

First off, Chef Ector Boyardi is a real person, and he use to have a restaurant that made wonderul pasta in Ohio. One day someone told Boyardi to can some of his food and go into business selling his pasta for his customers who couldn't make it to his restaurant.

He's no longer with us, but the food and annoying jingles are still there. They have dishes that arrange from Beefaroni to spaghetti to beef ravioli. He also was the person who is on the face of the can of every chef boy-ar-dee product you buy. But I cant purchase it anymore since it is loaded with so much sodium. But it claims to be a healthy product for it's target audience, kids.

If he were alive today, I don't know if Ector Boyardi would approve of any of the annoying commercials that target kids. They're becoming close to those annoying kraft macaroni and cheese commercials wihere kids are the target audience. OK that's fine but do they have to be annoying or creepy in the cmmercials.

Some people, even grown ups, still don't know that Chef Ector Boyardi was a real person. They think he is like Betty Crocker, fake! But he was 100% real. HIs nephew told much o the story of his life and his work and his success in making pasta and canning it. I use to eat the beefaroni, and even though they didn't make them (I also enjoyed spaghettios) Now, I don't care for any of them, too salty and full of fat, even if they are trying to be healthy.

Enjoy eating canned pasta, and remember Chef Boyardee was real, like Johnny Appleseed. Till then, Manja! ciao bloggers

too close to christmas... I SWEAR 2 GOD!!!!!

There is so much Christmas crap everywhere, and it's not even Halloween yet.

I swear next year we'll be seeing Christmas stuff in the middle of summer. I can't even go in a Hallmark store or a Costco without seeing Christmas decorations everywhere it is sad.

Thanksgiving doesn't have a room to breath now neither does Halloween? This is just sad. I just want to now how much longer will it go on. By Spring time I bet we'll see a christmas commercial.

Don't want to go there, but it seems Christmas is starting to come closer and closer to there. It's time, and I hate to admit that, the Christmas celebration is upon us and I know that I'm not the only one witht a birthday in December.

30, I can't believe I am almost that age as December creeps closer and closer and closer and Thursday starts Scorpio. Halloween will come and go and so will Thanksgiving and it will just be in a blink of an eye, Till then enjoy it while you can. Ciao bloggers

Columbus Day

It's almost Halloween, but there is another holiday that some people forget about. Coulbus Day. The day where Columbus found America by mistake while finding a passage way to India.

Amazing that he found a new land while finding completely diffeerent. It's also Canadian Thanksgiving in Canada. Lincoln decided to make Thanksgiving on the fourth thursday of november and the second monday in october in Canada.

Halloween is upon us as well. I don't care for it too much, but knowing that kids want candy so much that they will go to other people's houses, ring on the doorbell and scare them half to death with costumes that can scare them, as well as scare me, at least this year I will be somewhere far away from kids and well... I'll still get candy. But I fear that autumn is coming to an end sooner than later, I just know Thanksgiving will be here soon.

I dread it. Columbus day is here and we remember why he accidentally discovered america. and now, Halloween will be next. Till then, Happy Coulumbus Day. Ciao Bloggers for now!

hidden tanents

We all have a little secret in us that makes us unique.

So many of us have it. Mine well, I have too, being a fast typer is one of them while the other is I can remember celebrity birthdays and speaking of celebrities... I figured out some of their hidden talents as well.

Paul McCartney is a great painter as well as a singer, Matthew Perry is a well known tennis player in his spare time. Lucy Liu is fabulous at the accordian and Susan Surandon is a well known Ping Pong player.

Steve Martin is fabulous on the banjo and Conan O'Brien took tapping lessons when he was young Jason Lee can skateboard and Harrison Ford (along with John Travolta) can fly a plane.

I figured out my own talent on knowing celebrity birthdays because I love astrology along with have aspberger's syndrome, but it's also a gift and talent along with taking many type writing classes when I was in middle and high school. Being a fast typer is a gift as well as a great writer but my secret talent and best knowing which celebrity has a birthday on what day and that can scare some people. I don't mind that at all. I like it and I know that's one hidden talent I want to keep with me forever, along with being a fast typer. Cio Bloggers!

what is your passion?

Many people take different roads in life,
  while others choose the same.

Same with food and everything else we do in life? What is our passion?

MINE IS WRITING. I love to write. Love, love, LOVE IT!!!!! I don't know what it is that got me into it. I don't know why, but it seemed it got me started on writing. I like to read on occasion, it helps when I'm coming up with stories, and when ideas come into my head, I like to jot it down on paper or on a computer screen, and I like to give information
 deep from the heart.

And I love poems, hiakus and lyrics to songs, I also to jot ideas down that can end up being a story idea or an episode idea for a tv show.

Some people have many passions, mine is writing but others might have cooking, painting or even teaching. So many passions for so many people but remember, "if you love to do to do what you are born to do... don't back away from it, draw yourself closer to it and go for it"

Sometimes an interesting quote can be a motivation to get you to your dream and passion, even if it is something new, get to it because even if you live once do what you are meant to do, like me with writing. Till then, Ciao bloggers!

the ending of another season

Another season has gone....
too soon, too fast.... and now it is autumn. Although it doesn't feel like it yet, it'll soon get colder, it'll soon get darker and we will soon see  SNOW!!!!!

I don't want to see that. I don't like having to deal with the sun going down so soon and having to see more darkness, but on the plus side we have to see the beauty of autumn witht he leaves turning clolor, falling on the ground and making a crunching sound when you step on them,

There are some good and bad sides of the changing seasons, getting colder is one of them and losing the sunlight is another, pushing the clock back an hour, well not a fan of that (even though we do get some more sleep out of it)

Hallwoerrn and Thanksgiving are coming as well....

enjoying a new season is going to be hard to deal with, but we do it every year... this is no acception. Till then, enjoy the heat of autumn because it won't last long. Ciao Bloggers

Which Wonka movie was better

Watching the 20005 Johnny Depp version of Charlie and the chocolate factory and still thinking of the 1971 version with Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka.

I like both of them but there are so many differences to both. First off, there are more songs in the 1971 version than there are in the 2005 version and I think I'm ok with that. Mostly the oompa loompas do the singing, and the songs are more based on the book than the 1971 version of the songs the oompa loomps are singing.

Plus, with more songs in the 1971 version, some are good some aren't. "Cheer up Charlie" and the "Candy man can" were the only songs I actuallly liked in that version

Johnny Depp as Wonka however, hit and miss in my opion, but at least we didn't get Marylin Manson. He did a good job but played it much it like a two year old would. The Charlie and the Chocolate factory movie focused on Wonka than it did on Charlie ironically and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory focused on Charlie.

Gene Wilder as Wonka did an ok job, but the scene that confused people the most in the 1971 movie was the tripped out tunnel scene. After Augustus was eliminated, they go trough a tunnel and it gets so tripped out showing scenes that I guess shouldn't be in a children's movie and it just was so confusing, it is never mentioned again after the ride is over.

I think, in my opinion, the 2005 version shows more. More details, more on the life of Willy Wonka and even Charlie's father is alive in this version where in the 1971 his father is dead. The other four greedy kids are seen leaving the factory in the 2005 version but aren't seeen in the end at all. (Maybe they died or something)

There is more of an ending in the 2005 version. Wonka trying to make amends with his father Where in the 1971 version Charlie accepts in the glass elevator to move in with Wonka and Charlie's family is invited as well.

But which one do I like better. The classic one still holds a place in my heart and I think I will love that one forever. Gene Wilder does a wonderful job portraying Wonka as welll as Depp, but I think he did a better job becasue he seemed to keep children enertained, and scare them at the same time knowing that one day someone will one his factory.

The Charlie's on the other hand, Freddie Highmore did an exicent job; however it seemed as if he wasn't needed at all in the movie becuase it more revolived around Wonka. Charlie was just a kid who got a ticket and that was it. The other Charlie in the 1971 version seemed like he had more of a role. He wanted it all, he had a need and would do anything, yet wasn't a greedy person and was nice kid as well and this was his only acting role. He never acted again. But was his only great performance.

Reiceintly they had a 40th anniversary edition for 1971 Wonka and the all the actors who portryaed the kids had comentaries about the movies, and sadly the only surviving adult now is Gene Wilder who portrayed Willy Wonka.

I think ithat version was the better one, even though I'm not a fan of all the songs, and the 2005 version was more fateful to the book, I loved the 1971 version a lot more, they should of just had Tim Burton as the desiging team and visual aid to change around Wonka's chocolate room.

Till then, enjoy enjoy all the chocolate you can eat. Ciao, Bloggers, I don't have a golden ticket!

13 years later 9/11

We still think about it as it was yesterday, but it has been 13 years since that tragic day, and I still remember what I was doing.

I don't live in New York, but I lost someone n my family that I never met and will never meet and it hurts so bad.
It hurts for anyone who lost a loved one that day, and I don't why but this pain will never go away.
   The scars will never heal,
      the tears will never dry,
the memories will always be fresh in us and will always hurt. What were you doing when that day occurred? I was in 11th grade, in 2nd period and if it wasn't for our marketing teacher putting that tv on, we would never have noticed it.

But I felt something bad was going to happen day even since first period started and someone was celebrating her birthday.

I guess I can always feel when something bad is going to happen and yet you have no control over it, and also feel deep down,

it might have meant for it to be, but this.....
this is not one of them.
NEVER FORGET! The souls that were lost and that we will always have them in our hears. Goodbye for now bloggers. Will Ciao on a happier time.

We all want to do our best our best...

My top five favorite pixar movies of all time.

Been watching some disney movies, mostly pixar some good, some bad, but five of them I think are best and I'll tell you why.

First off the lowest pixar movie on my radar is "The incredibles"  One of my least favorite pixar ever. I don't know why, but I just never connected with this one like I did the other top five. Its about a family of superheros and  I guess one retired but a criminal mastermind comes back to seek revenge turning out to be one of the incredible biggest fans turned super villain. I didn't care for it that much, and I only saw it twice. It was one of my least favorite. My second least favorite is cars. I just couldn't get into the fact that cars could talk and they made other remakes likes cars 2, planes and others vehicles with eyes and mouths. Just gross.

My top five favorite.

My fifth favorite is Brave. Based off a Scottish setting of a princess who doesn't want to find a prince, She wants to find adventure is great with archery. Her and her mother don't get along and her mother (voiced by Emma Thompson). Just don't see eye to everything. She wants her daughter to marry a prince but she doesn't want to be married at all, she wants to go on adventures. So she gets a witch to help her with her problems. Making her mother eat a dessert that turns her into a bear. Her father is Ninon for killing many bears can't see that his wife is something he would see end up killing in the end.
Eventually the princess talks about what matter most is not a treaty, but it's understanding and communicating and knowing that is what matters most is family.

My fourth favorite is UP. A story about an old man (voiced by Ed Asner) making a dream a reality with assistance from a little kid. Trying to get his house, which is about to be demolished,  to Paradise Falls to pursue the dream of his dead wife. However, many chaotic and crazy zany stuff happens along away. Like meeting with a crazy old man who is looking for an exotic bird, who the boy named 'Kevn' and a talking dog named "Doug" is also on the adventure and they end finding up what they're looking for, on the wrong side. There were so many talking dogs it was as if  I need done of those callers they had for all dogs so we would know what every dog was saying. It was an amazing adventure from beginning to end and I loved every minute of it

My third favorite is Ratatouille. A story about a rat who is really good at cooking, but other rats just act like rats, knowing that humans hate them. He lives in Paris and helps a wannabe cook since he was caught making soup and claimed that the rat did it and not him.
He call's the rat "little chef" then a major food critic (voiced by the late Christopher O'Toole) comes to judge the new chef by tasting some food, but the head chef doesn't want any publicity going to the restaurant and tries firing him, but he gets fired himself. Unfortunately what I loved about the movies is that it uses humans as well as the aspect as talking rats. They couldn't have a rat well feed the particular food critic that is judging the meal. Ratatouille was the dish of meal served to the critic and when he took a bite he loved it and wanted to personally thank the chef, but had to wait till everyone left, sadly the restaurant closed but it did have a happy ending for the chef and the rat. I loved it very much just like I did UP and it kind of has that feel and tone as well. I just thought was amazing.

My second favorite is Toy Story's 1 2 and 3. First was amazaing as well as Pixar's first animated movie, about a toy spaceman finding it hard to believe he's really  a toy and a cowboy who is a big shot and they couldn't even get along. Tim Allen voiced Buzz and Tom Hanks voiced Woody. Eventually they learned about their differences in harsh way. One toy is taken next door in which they call hell when a boy blows up toys as well as plays with them and it's up to Woody to save him. They do and end up getting friends oh at the end, the kid gets a dog.
Second one was OK but wasn't as great as the first. Woody is sold off to a guy who collets toys and has found out he use to be part of a tv show. Kelsey Grammer and Jane Cusack voice other cowboys. One was a really friendly cowgirl named Jessie who Buzz takes a shine at, who sings a depressing Sarah McGlucgline song about toys being not played with and my god it got so depressing I wanted to go back to playing with my dolls again, if I had them. She was tossed aside my her ex-owner and found by the same guy who bought woody. Stinky Pete is more an-ti buzz light year space aliens and is just not a kind of Cowboy who knows what playtime means. Soon Woody is about to be put on display as Buzz and the rest save him but... it's been a while since I've seen the movie but it did turn out to have a happy ending.
The last Toy Story didn't take place till recently. The owner of the toys decides to take only Woody to college. The other toys were going to be sent to the attic but they end up outside on the curb waiting to be thrown out. They end up at a daycare center. The leader (voiced by Ned Beatty) is a strawberry secreted teddy bear who was lost by his previous child owner and forgotten. Growing him to be bitter and evil and controlling who goes where. Buzz Light year is kidnapped and is deprogrammed, Woody escapes and finds a new home only to find out that even though he escaped the daycare center alive, he had to go back to save his friends.
Eventually, the truth comes out and they all try to dethrone the evil teddy bear which gets them all sent to the garbage dump. The happy ending is, Woody, Buzz and all the rest are sent to a new owner who loves toys as much as the previous one did.

Now which one could be the best... the one I think I think is the best out of all the Pixar movies ever..

Finding Nemo is number one. Why? Why does it beat out all the others? Why does it blow all the pixar movies out of the water?
Because I thought it had to be one of the best Pixar animated movies ever It starts with a clown fish (voiced by Albert Brooks) losing his wife and a bunch of fish eggs, exect for one he decided to name Nemo.

Nemo has a busted fin that is smaller than his other fin. His father is overprotective and they had a fight. and he gets captured by an Austarlian Dentist and wants to give the fish to his bratty neice to kills fish for a living, it's up to a bunch of other fish from the aquatic tank that he keeps in his dentist office. They make him one of their own. And for the father, he comes across a forgetful female fish (voiced by Ellen Degeneres) who doesn't reemember much but helps on the journey and sadly they get into so much chaos that nearly ends up them getting them killed and it just pulls at your heartstrings wanting to know if this simple clown fish will ever find his son.
Why do I think this is the best out of all the others I review. I because it's mostly the two main characters They argue alot  they get along and they DON'T become a couple, but the seems the chemestrey between them really work, and now they are called finding Dory. I wouldn't mind seeing that. It would be amazing, alough I think they would have the change the voice actor for nemo, because when this movie came out, it was 2003.

Disney, Pixar whatever. I know some of my options might change over they years, but for now, these are now y top five. I'm not a big fan of Disney like I use to be but, I still enjoy some of these movies. Till then, enjoy! Ciao Bloggers!

why we have to be depressed about depression?

Everyone has been hearing about the death of Robin Williams and it is very sad. Many of us knew he had depression but we never knew he would go and kill himself,

Many people (even famous ones) have depression and their own demons to face. Some can conquer them while others well... you know. It is a sad thing and medication does help, but so could therapy as well. Talking to someone so you don't feel sad or lonely is a big one as well. There are many hot lines for people who are gong down that road and have nowhere to turn to. Sometimes they think it's the only way to go. I think (in my opinion) it's the cowards way out. The last thing  people do to make their depression go away.
There are so many ways to detect if somebody has depression, but it's not always easy to fix.

I have depression (along with so much else)  not too severe, but it can get severe and believe me. I can be happy on the outside, but on the inside, it hurts, it really hurts. I'm not a suicidal person (thank god) however I just know it could get to that stage in the future if I don't up my medication. it seems that I take the medicine at night and in the day time, I'm as happy as a sesame street character could be (except for bert) but I just feel sometimes that I want to cry for no reason and I'm just lonely at times and need to talk to someone so I don't get so sad and bored,

Why do we get sad over depression? Why do so many people have it? It could be generic or it could be something else that triggered it like a death in the family or an accident. I get the depression from my mom and she has it She sometimes feels sad and lonely and it seems a hug helps. Hugs always help me feel better, or listening to music as well. Music soothes my depression Why do we get sad over it?
I don't know? I guess it's part of the mind that shows us that we can have and try our best not to have it control our minds,
but sadly for some people their depression takes over more than anything and just consumes them until they can take no more. Ernest Hemingway died from it as well as Kurt Cobain.

Robin Williams, well I will miss all the comedy genius of a man who had a tragic side that nobody knew about but him, and from him being an old granny to voicing a genie I will miss him very much.
"O Captain, My Captain!" Goodbye Robin Williams.

And remember don't let your depression get the better of you, conquer it as best as you can. Caio for now bloggers RIP Robin Williams (1951-2014)

40 years of happiness

Has it really been 40 years since my parents said "I do?"
Has it really been that long.

 40 years of happiness
 40 years of tears
40 years of romance that never aged
never died
never secede

    40 years ago Sunday
mom and dad will share 40 years of wedding bliss

It will be 40 years since they married, and I can't believe the years have gone by so fast,
It seemed as if it was yesterday they were married and ten years later, I came into their life.

I know it's early but I can't believe it will be 40 years ago Sunday they will be married.

HAPPY 40 YEARS 2gether mom and dad!   I'm proud of you Ciao Bloggers 4 now that is.

Oh no it's AUGUST!!!

Where has the summer gone?  No seriously? Where has it gone?

I've already seen a Christmas ad on facebook and halloween candy at the grocery store. I know there is back to school sales and commercials but that is normal.

Like I said before, don't holidays have room to breathe?
I don't think they do. Marketing these days decide that it's best to televise or put out ads desplayying Halloween in July and Christmas ads in October. It's just rediculus.

But then again maybe it's best to let it be that way. I find it rediculus and stupid but it seems to help pull in the sales.

I think it just makes the daays go faster as well as the year end as well, but it seems as if they do this every year. And since August barely has any holidays, they'll show more commercials that brings the season of Autumn  closer than ever, God oh mighty. This year has gone by too fast.

I guess some people like it while others just think it's too much (like me of course)  Till then. Ciao Bloggers!

POEM- Blink of an eye

Within a blink of an eye
A minute turns into an hour
A day turns into a week
A week becomes a month,
Month to a year,

 A year to a decade
and so on and so forth

Much happens without ous knowing,
Without us suspecting it

Don't take your life for granted because
Life is precoious because
within a blink of an eye
and sand through your hand
another day of your life
is gone,

enjoy it while you can

WOW Weird Al

I've been listening to music lately, and what I like are parodies. Music parodies, where someone would copy over a famous song and make it there own, by making it humorus.

One person that does that the most is, Weird Al Yankovic. His real name is Alread and I've heard him in the 90's. He is hilarious and a great accordian player but it is the songs that he does, along witht he polka, he does wonderful at. I'm not a fan of polka but I lkie his.

He does some parody songs like "Eat it" which comes from Michael Jackson's "Beat it" "Amnis Paradise" from Coolio's "Gangsta Paradise" (whcich Coolio didn't like) "Like a Surgeon" from Madonna's "Like a Vrigin" the list goes on and on.

Some are funny and some, I don't understand. Reicently he's done two new ones that are from the songs "Royal" by Lorde called "Foil" and "Tackey" from the song "Happy" I like the Tackey song better, and it seems wwhen he does his Polka music, he goes through many songs as fast as he can which he made fun of in the past

Some of his songs are pretty memoriable and some are forgetabble but I have a feeling we're going to need him more now than ever, why? to make un of more songs and humiliate statrs. He even did a "TMZ" song that cracked me up. That's what Weird Al is about, it's his style of art and I don't think it's ever going to end, if you don't like him, that's fine, if you do that's good. Enjoy parody songs by anyone, even him because they aren't going away anytime soon. Till then, enjoy the music even if it is Tacky- ciao bloggers!

seinfeld: 25 years of laughter

I cannot believe it has been 25 years since Seinfeld has aired.

It's gone off air, but the repeats will go on and on and on for a long time.
Remembering all the great episodes that I loved when I was growing up, and all the catchphrases we loved like: "Yada Yada Yada" "Not that there's anything wrong with that" "Im an eggplant" "Spongoly" so many wonderful episodes like where they are waiting for a table at a chinese restaurant. Having Costanza's finance die from licking toxic envelopes.

I even blogged about some episodes already but some others I like to shortly talk about.

Mostly through one entire season Costanza is engaged to a woman named Susan and he tries to break off the relationship as best as he can. Eventually by the end, they buy cheap envelopes, she licks them and dies. Costanza couldn't be more happier????

Some other episodes, like one where Krammer is upset that he might be the last Krammer and he has to not jockeys anymore and start wearing boxers. So he decides to go commando
"I'm out there Jerry and I'm loving every minute of it!"

They also made up a contest where they wouldn't 'you know what' after George was caught by his mother looking at one of her magazines. LOL. It just shows us the more lovable side of the show. This episode actually won Emmy for it. As well as Jerry's girlfriend leaving him before she would be 'the one' since she was a Virgin. Krammer lost and Elaine lost, and it went down to Jerry and George. What happens, well I'll tell you soon

There are so many characters as well that become a part of the show like Banya. Another comic that Jerry hates, and he bugs Jerry a lot. Gives him a suit as well, and he loves to order soup.

Jackie Chiles is another wonderful character that became part of the show by the middle of the season. He was biased on OJ Simpson's lawyer and they sutured one episode where he says "Like a glove!" It's mostly biased around him. Always having to deal with Krammer's antics and by the end of the series, has to help all of them out through a Jam

Puddy, who is an awesome. Squints, high fives and is Elaine's boyfriend (somewhat) by the end of the season. Started showing up around the sixth season, is a huge Devil's fan. Was a grease monkey to selling cars, and at the end of the series he and Elaine break up (tell u why in a minute)

Sue Ellen Mishke (The bra-less wonder) tall, never wears a bra, and is Elaine's mortal enemy. She even tried being her friend but it didn't work out. She never wears a bra, Elaine gave her one as a gift and let's just say she never wore a shirt with it.

Micky Kramer's friend and enemy. They fight constantly and they both work on TV. Kramer got him lifts once, but let's just say it didn't work out. They tried finding love by setting up one another on a date with two girls. They got the wrong one. LOL

A lot of characters are come and go but one would remain a staple. Karmmer's friend, Jerry's enemy and is in love with Elaine. NEWMAN. He was voiced by creator Larry David when he was first mentioned, but people wanted to see the Newman. Who was he, why wasn't he on many episode, eventually it happened. When Jerry's neighbor tries to commit suicide Jerry falls in love with his girlfriend. Newman is shown for the first time. He was played by Wayne Knight, overweight at the time, but now lost complete amount of weight because of the role. He works for the Post office and is mostly in a battle with Jerry and Krammer is somewhat in the middle.

There are other characters like off and on again romances from the main four characters and some workout, some don't. They even tried to get a series off the ground, didn't work out either.

Jerry and George's parents are featured (ironically both the fathers were played by two men) The first season had a different actor portraying the father of Jerry and by the second season the late Barney Martin took over. Jerry Stiller took over for Geroge's father in the syndicated version of the fourth season, but when it started the first a different actor portraying his father (don't know his mane)

When Elaine had her first job in pendent publishing, there were two actors portraying the roll of her boss. The second actor took over after the other season. Many actors are replaced by others if it didn't work out or other reasons. I don't know why. But here's what I wanna talk about, the last episode:

They are stuck in nowheresville after an airplane malfunction, (BTW George tells Jerry he cheated on the contest making Jerry the official winner) They don't help somebody that's in trouble and gets arrested for it. Well this is where some people are torn between this last episode. Liking it and hating it. I officially thought it was good.

They had to get Jackie Chiles as their lawyer. And they had to get character witness, mostly from previous episodes to tell them how they changed and influenced their lives. Mostly negative effects they had on them. A lot of the court roomsettings and witnesses are from past seasons and it's pretty interesting to see them all and (you can more of them on the dvd version)
A lot of character witnesses like Jerry's girlfriend who thought her breasts were real and made Elaine fake-trip and feel them. Let's just say Chiles hooks up with her at the end "They're real and they're spectacular"

Mostly a lot of the character witness target Eliane and Costanza the most. The doctor that was performing on his fiance and died that day told him that it was "restrained jubilation" making the parents of Susan pissed, as they were before. A lot of the character witness are pleading for a guilty verdict like Babu. Who was deported, The Bubble boy who Jerry was suppose to visit for his birthday but never showed and Costanza did instead and let's just say it didn't work out MOOPS"

The Soup Nazi was another character witness who had to close his restaurant when Elaine stole his recipes after he wouldn't serve her soup

Eventually at the end the verdict was "GUILTY" and they were sent to five years in Jail to contemplate for their actions. BTW Art Vandalay was the judge which Costanza loved to use the name and say he's an architect as well.

I say though those years, after the show ended. Julia Louse Dreyfus has done most with her career, working VEEP now while the other three, well they're doing ok. I saw Jerry Seinfeld perform at the Borgata and he still as funny as ever. He still does those "have you ever notice...'  jokes that he always did on Seinfeld that makes me laugh. Everyone in the audience did too. Jason Alexander is doing well on the stage, and losing weight. He's doing very well for himself, being the new Jenny Craig spokes models and all.

Michael Richards hasn't  done very well for himself, but he's holding up ok. Wayne Knight has lost weight and is doing voice acting so is Patrick Warburton "aka Puddy" mostly on Family Guy and for cartoon shows and movies. He is funny as hell. Other actors from the show are doing well for themselves, sadly some passed away like from the last episode comedian John (last name i forgot) passed away recently he portrayed the man who needed help One of Elaine's bosses, Mr. Pit, passed away too. Jerry's Uncle Leo died too. Will never forget some of them...

but then again Seinfeld is something we shouldn't forget, it'll be bedded in our memories for a long time, and it will still be funny even if it's with a puffy shirt, a close talker, high talker or anything else, Seinfeld is something that will be with us forever and even the last episode, good or bad, it's still gonna be one hell of a great finale (not as great as MASH but still good)  till then. Never forget the 25 years of Laughter Seinfeld has given us, and that it will forever be considered one hell of a great show. Ciao Bloggers!

Happy 4th and less summer holidays!

Knowing that it is now America;s birthday got me to thinking there is not many summer holidays to celebrate We don't have many holidays in July and barely any in August only Memorial, 4th of July and Labor day.

This year Labor day is on the first of September and kids are going to have to suffer going back to school.

Summer is slipping through our fingers people Believe me it really is The Fourth is here and America is getting older and older and older. Our founder Fathers (although dead) would be amazed about us still loving America today and also how much are trying to fight for America every day with soldiers in the war but, believe you me, I'd rather have the war end than see another American soldier die

For now we will feast on hot dogs, hamburgers, stare at fireworks and know this will be the one and only summer holiday till Labor day comes around and ends it for us. Sometimes I think of my own holiday, doesn't get me out of work, but makes the day much more enjoyable

Have a safe and happpy 4th everyone. Ciao Bloggers!

Do seasons and holidays have a room to breathe?

It's summer now and I just saw a "back to school" commercial from Ziploc. WHAT THE HELL!!!

Don't holidays have a room to breathe anymore? I mean really. I wouldn't be surprised that the first day of October, I would see a Christmas commercial. I mean really.

Does corporate society care? I don't wanna scare children around the first day of summer or anything but this is really pushing the envelope. I think this is stupid. Kids need to breathe and enjoy summer. Not to see a GD BACK TO SCHOOL commercial around the end of June. I mean around the end of July or middle of August, but JUNE. That is annoying.

If I see one Christmas commercial in SEPTEMBER, I will cry. You can't give a holiday a room to breathe anymore. I mean doesn't anyone wanna think about Easter or Thanksgiving of Fourth of July. Do those holidays not matter anymore? I mean Christmas is the big one. The king of all holidays. It would stomp on others like Godzilla in Tokoyo. I mean for the love of...

Sorry if I'm ranting but it's true. I haven't much emphases on Easter this year because it was either too early or too late. Well enjoy whatever little summer we have. Believe me, I'll be seeing a lot of back to school commercials by the time July ends. Till then see u next month. Ciao Bloggers! Happy Summer!

turning books into movies????

Ever heard of the old phrase when someone watches a preview of a movie and they say, "the book was better?"

Well I just noticed a trailer of a movie that was biased off an old kids book called "Paddington" about the bear named Paddington. OMG.  So many books are being turned into movies.
Some good like 'to kill a mockingbird' and some bad like 'twilight' (Never read the book, but that movie sucked)

It seems almost every book is about to become a multi million dollar movie. "Harry Potter" "The Hunger Games" You name it. I don't think 'Catcher in the Rye' will ever be a movie since the author never want it to be sold into movie rights.

Even some kid books, like "Babysister's club" "Diary of a loser (whatever it's called)" "Jake underpants"

Even Dr. Seaus (who would be rolling in his grave) if he say any and I mean any of his lame movies that were being shamefully ripped off by Hollywood, or Canadian actors portraying them. For the love of god. STOP! The classic cartoon versions are thousand times better than that crap.

Even Roald Dahl books such as "James and the Giant Peach" "Charlie and the chocolate factory" (both the original and tim burton version)  "Witches" "Matilda" They all saw the spotlight. Liked the Matilda film and the two Charlie and the chocolate factories. The other two, not so much.

So many books are starting to become films and tv movies, it's almost scary. Some movies do ok, while others just are too hyped or not hyped enough and this "Paddington" movie might not compare to the original book that I fell in love with when I was little, but for other generations, it might be ok, but this is just too much. He looks so much like that snuggle bear with the fabric softener. Well as long as it goes by the book and doesn't end up like that stupid yogi bear movie, I'm up for it, but for now, I know "The book was better" Ciao bloggers

dim bulb or bright idea?

I've seen some interesting cartoon characters that are complete morons in my day. Even the inspector gadget (cartoon not the crappy movie) is a lemming and doesn't even know he needs saving.

So why am I blogging about this?
Well I've learned about being smart, or average, or stupid and I've found out that I don't care if I'm dumb or average, I know I'm smart deep down. But some times I just completely lose some of my thinking and forget where I am half the time, let alone I'm not a genius.

People in movies and tv, (even cartoons) have a dumb sidekick like Spongebob has his friend Patrick, but I've notices there is brilliance in everyone, Sometimes there is what I call a "smart moment" in a stupid character for a few minutes, and then they go to stupid again. Almost everyone has it.
We can have a smart moment and not know about it...

We can enlighten our brilliant mind and  yet be forgetful at the same time. That's called being human. Homer Simpson, I think  is a genius in some Simpson episodes, and sometimes, in almost all episodes, is a complete dunce. There are smart people out there in the world and we can be one of them if we just challenge our minds.
If not,, or if we do and still can't challenge it as best as we can, being average is nothing to be upset about.

Smart, dumb, a dunce or just overage, you are unique. Even if a stupid cartoon character can get smart for a few minutes (mostly because of the writer's idea) so can you,

Never take your mind for granted. Till then Ciao Bloggers!

How smart am I?

I've noticed these days that sometimes we can be smart and not know it.

I don't have a high IQ but I am smart in my own way. I have tried some brain teasers and test to study my IQ and I never figured out if I'm really smart. I mean last time I found out my IQ was 130, but that was a couple of years ago. Have I changed my IQ? I don't know or maybe I don't care.

Our IQ doesn't show much, but it does show that we know things that others might not. Our own paths in our own way can higher our IQ without us even knowing it. I sometimes feel that I get dummer everyday, but I know that I am smart. If I know something from the beginning, I'll learn it forever, like birthdays, dates or knowing how to work on a new cash register at work.

Sometimes my brain, like all of ours, can be forgetful yes, they call it 'brainfarts' or something like that, I just call it a pause moment.

There are some celebrities that are very intelligent, James Woods is smarter than Albert Einstein they say, that is amazing, and that Geena Davis was a Mensa member and also the girl that played Winnie in wonder years is a genius in math.

I'm pretty much a genius in my own way, forgetful at times, but at others can brighten myself and not even realize it. I am smart, Im no genius but I don't think I was ever meant to be. But training my brain with IQ tests once in a while never hurts as they always say, "you learn something new everyday"

Love to read and write (as you can tell) I have read Moby DIck and wouldn't mind reading it again. I don't mind re-reading a book I've read before. I enjoy it and learning new words from a dictionary on line helps me with my intellect, spelling it, will take time too as well, I am smart, and I don't need anyone to bring me down, especially myself.

Even if I still have an IQ of 130, that's still good. Not genius, but good enough for average person like me. Never take your brain for granted, and till then enjoy your intelligence, because before you know it, you'll be just as smart as Einstein. Till then, Ciao Bloggers

Summer and Allergies

  It is finally her SUMMER!!!!
Thank you god! It seemed to be one hell of a long winter, but this summer is not going to be greatful to us.

Allergy season is here as well and the allergies are just na nightmare to deal with. Drippy noses, puffy eyes, sneezing
                                    after sneezing
                                          after sneezing.

But we need to remember that the allergy season, along with spring is still here for a few more weeks. Before you know it, it will be summer and all the children will be off from school and will be free until Labor day comes around. Memorial day is tommorow and grills will sizzles, fireworks will go off and we should still remember our soldiers who fought for our freedom and died for us, my grandfather survived but is buried with an American Flag on his grave site, just like all the other solders that fought for us.

This summer, I feel will be one hot one that we'll suffer for and we'll be praying for the cold before you know it, but for now, let's enjoy what is left of spring and deal with the allergies that come with it, because before you know it, when summer is here, we'll have to deal with sunburns and mosquito bites along with hot car seats. Enjoy your memorial day everyone, and pray for our fallen soldiers as well as enjoying your hot dogs. Will blog more in June. Till then Ciao Bloogers!

Angel- Poem

God sent an angel to Heaven last week

A rose as sweet as she was

And will always be in my heart

and memories

She was a sweet woman

I know she is in a better place

Angels are gaining a sweet woman

An angel

A princess

An aunt and sister

She will be singing in the clouds and hopefully

I will hear her

I HAD A PONY!!!! Pony remark episode

Why am I blogging about another Seinfeld episode? Because this one is hilarious. You are introduces to Uncle Leo of course, but even Jerry Seinfeld's entire family (his dad was played by a different actress in an earlier episode) and is now replaced with the late Barny Martin who loves to talk about how he created the beltless trench coat.

Krammer wants to create levels in his house, althought Jerry doesn't believe that would never happen and bets Krammer that he would never do it. Jerry automatically wins the bet.

Jerry, with Elaine, are invited his mother's cousin's 50th wedding anniversary dinner and as predicated, he ends up sitting next to Uncle Leo who ends up talking about nothing but Jerry's cousin Jeffery. Why?? Why is he so obsesses about a cousin we never see in the series? He works for the parks department for crying out loud. Eventually the conversation goes to horses and ponies and Elaine says that she didn't care for kids who had ponies. Jerry agreed stating that he hated anybody who had a pony growing up. Soon Manya, the cousin who is having the 50th wedding anniversary says "I HAD A PONY!!!!" Which makes everyone in the room go silent.

That part makes me laugh all the time. She exclaims that everyone growing up had a pony when she was growing up in Poland. She gets upset and leaves the dinner table. Her husband says it has been an emotional day for her. The next day, Jerry gets a call as his parents leave and he shouts out, "Manya died!" In disbelief, Jerry's mom thinks that it could have been the remark that killed her, and the funeral is set on the same day of Jerry's supposed baseball game, and feels obligated that he should go because he might have killed her. I don't know if he did, but just thinking about the spirit world and him thinking Manya is waiting in the background of a funeral home, well that's just stupid.

   If you died would your spirit want to hang out in a funeral home. Mine would venture into another world or somewhere that you would only dream of, but nope. Elaine thinks Manya's spirit won't travel anywhere but to a funeral home. LOL. {BTW at the funereal home, they mention the pony again}
But the truth of why Manya was upset wasn't because of Jerry's remark, it was becks of the potato salad. I guess worrying about potato salads can kill. And Elaine doesn't get their apartment, it goes to cousin Jeffrey.

I think that sometimes, we can believe in stupid stuff, silly stuff or the unknown, and being a spirit after death, well for some people it seems far fetch for others, they really believe. I believe in spirits true, but after I die, I don't wanna hang out at a funeral home getting even at a person who made a remark about ponies that would get me angry, but karma, that's what I believe in and that is what happened to Jerry at the end.

This episode is very funny, like the Chinese Restaurant episode it;s an early one, and I love it. Seinfeld is a show that will never die out for me and I love it. Till then, believe in the spirit world, and be careful what you say to a cranky old lady, because karma can come back to haunt you, till then Ciao Bloggers

Movie legend gone

Shirley Teple,
Sid Ceasar,
Elizabeth Taylor...

What do they all have in common? They were great stars, llegends. Now gone... and noe: Mickey Rooney..

I'm in tears, I didn't idolize him or anything like that, but we just lost a comedian recently and now him????

Believe me heaven found a great comedian and actor tonight. Lasting almost nine decades of his life in movies and tv. Staring with the three greats I just listed and it hurts to know there aren't many great talents left on earth to give us what Rooney had. Hilarity. He was special he had a sort of characteristic you wouldn't find in other comedians, and he went through hard times in his life to get to where he was. He almost tried to kill himself before landing it big, and even again after his late wife died, but he remarried.

He was an amazing talent that you can only find in old movies like "Breakfast at Tiffany's" or "It's  a Mad, Mad, Mad world" that was a great movie and he made it funny, and he will be truly missed, but at least heaven will gain more laughter as the world loses another great like we did with Johnathan Winters last year. This is one year that will not have hilarity once we remember a piece of movie history has died yesterday but Rooney will always be remembered as one funny man, who suffered through more than just laughter. RIP Rooney. The lights will dim tonight in LA for you. Till then Ciao Bloggers! RiP Rooney.

sandwiches galore

Everyone loves sandwiches. Admit it, you're thinking about having one right now. When you were little, you had a PB&J or a bologna sandwich when you were young. When you get older,  your taste of sandwiches seem to change, like having a Reuben or a famous grilled cheese that is crazy with cheese, or a Philly cheese steak.

There are so many sandwiches to choose. They even have a Dagwood sandwich, one hell of a tall sandwich; try to eat that with one bite if you can. Primanti Bros in Pittsburgh have french fries and coleslaw in their sandwiches. I can't say anything negative on that if I haven't tried it.

The history of the first sandwich started when the Earl of sandwiches was in the middle of a card game; was hungry and didn't wanna stop playing. So he asked for some meat between two slices of bread. Since then the sandwich was born and food history was made.
There so many different sandwiches all over the world, the most famous being a classic hoagie ( or girnder, po boy) whatever you wanna call it where ever you live. So many places have their version on the perfect sandwich (hoagie whatever you wanna call it) Jersey Mike's has their version and they have used the same ingredients and bread since they've opened on the boardwalk.

A french butcher named Phileppe made an accident with his sandwich but it  was about to become a famous phenomenon in the sandwich industry, a "French dip" as they called it. Everybody loved them; you can dip the  roll or the whole sandwich in the juices.

I on the other hand love grilled cheese, but not with American cheese like a classic Kraft Singles slices, you don't see many of those anymore (unless you make them at home) I like using stretchy cheeses like asiago or mozzarella (mostly asiago) and Cheddar cheese of course. Bread depending, must be whole wheat of course, not that wonder bread. But there is a restaurant (I think in NYC) that serves only PB&J {No thanks to Kramer's idea} and they mostly use wonder bread and a lot people love it.

I love to use JIF peanut butter, but they have their own brand of peanut butter. They have made creamy, chunky even chocolate flavored. That is so cool.

Sandwiches will always evolve and there will always be different ways to create a different sandwich that might one day make food history. For me a great grilled cheese with Cheddar and asiago will do for me and I will enjoy it as well you didn't end up getting hungry, or making a sandwich while reading this. Till then, watch as food will still evolve into something new year by year and enjoy what you create food wise of course. Till then, ciao bloggers and Mangia

have movies gone too far

No really, seriously,
have they???

Some movies are doing ok, but I see that recently are going too big. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are releasing a new movie. April O'Neil will be portrayed by *ugh* Rachel Foxx miss toe thumb. I'm not also not a fan of who is directing as well. The same guy who has directed Transformers.
Does it say in his contract that he has to direct 8o's cartoons into horrid movies? i might give it a chance, when it's on demand but I have little doubts.
Didn't see any terminator movie either.

What cartoon will he direct next? Thundercats? Don't get any ideas Michael Bay.

They also have the epic tale of Noah's ark with Russel Crow as Noah. It doesn't seem interesting and more foamed in as ten commandments. That movie was worth seeing; however, this is something that doesn"t seem to be watched on my DVR let alone in theaters.

Disney is also getting weirder with making a villain themed movie staring Angelina Jolie. She plays Melicifent, the villain in sleeping beauty. Well this is going to go south like the disney channel is today. Till then I'll try to remember the good movies that weren't required to be seen in 3D. But till then, movie theaters will try to get better so they won't be obsulete in the near future,
till then Ciao Bloggers and enjoy the beginning of spring.

Ocean of sadness poem

Oceans are blue, but my tears show red
Sadness inside
Depression, no hope
A sea of disbelief
I don't believe a word
I breathe a quiet air
As I see nothing but trouble lie beneath me
Sad,
Sad,
Sad,
Tears of red, in the sea
Ocean now a violet purple

Are you just sick of it?????

First off, do you ever get a song stuck in your head constantly every time you're doing something that can be important?

I do all the time. Recently there was a song called "let it go" from the movie Frozen that just won an Oscar and for some reason, after hearing that song, I can't get it out of my head. It won't die. Even some people on YouTube have done covers for the song and they also like it. The original version, sung by Idina Menzel. But there are so many cover versions. Demi Levato is one, a Disney star of course.

I am so tired of that song, and I have heard it so many times. I mean I've heard some other songs before play in my head, they had cover albums and sometimes they can be good, and others... well let's just say better left unheard.

Once you hear a song, it can get stuck in your head for sure, but the best way to have it out of your mind, I guess is to just plain ignore it, but if that doesn't work, for me.. I try thinking of another song and it works (depending on the song of course) BtW: Harlem Shake is so over rated and so is Gangum style and everyone's doing it. I have seen video after video after video of nothing but doing a harlem shake dance or gangum style (or whatever the hell you wanna call it) and how they keep getting popular is by the song.

When this "let it go" song fades out there will be another song right behind it that we will be sick of before we know it. Till then, enjoy music and never let it die, even if it isn't worth listening to, Ciao Bloggers!

Who do you think will win?

Well you know what tonight is. It's OSCAR NIGHT. The night where movie's matter and are awarded for their greatness.

This year, there are nine categories for best picture. I predict that it will either go to "12 years a slave" (which I want to see) or "Dallas Buyer's Club" which I have seen. I thought that movie was pretty good and sad at the same time. Matthew McCohnahay (a nominee) portrays a man who suffers from AIDS and is selling drugs. Based on a true story, of course.

Gravity is another nominee as well. I saw it and it was really really good. Although we saw it in the theater in 3D (why is 3D such a huge thing now?) and I ended up getting a minor seizure during the film, I still enjoyed it. Sandra Bullock did a great job, hurdling through space and all.

Nebraska is another nominee, staring Bruce Dern as man who thinks he won a lottery and goes to claim it in California or something like that. (It is suppose to be really good)

Her about Jouqine Phionex in love with a phone with the voice of Scarlett Johanesn. Does look pretty good, but doesn't sound like it's going to win many awards.  The song that is nominated and I want and hope wins is called "Ordinary Love" by U2. Based on the movie about Nelson Mandela. I want to see that movie. That man was an inspiration to all that once you fall down you can always get up again.

I can't predict, nobody can on who will win but all I am interested in is the outfits of course the wonderful beautiful outfits the women will wear. Some dresses can be tacky yes but some can be gorgeous, adorable and even amazingly beautiful to wear. Last year's outfits and attires were pretty good but not breathtaking, I want to see a dress that will Wow everyone, I bet if anyone will pull that off it could be Jennifer Lawerence, another nominee for American Hustle (which i am dying to see) That could also be a contender for best picture too along with "12 years a slave".

Tom Hanks got snubbed but at least Captain Phillipis  got nominated, another based on a true story movie as well. The real Captain Phillips was captured by pirates and survived. Saw half of the movie. The supporting actor (can't pronounce his name) deserves the Oscar or his role,

Well all I know is it will be one night where Oscars will be polished and awarded to people who deserve it. Sometimes some best pictures don't deserve it, one was "The English Patient" (I'm not going into any detail on that right now) other definitely deserved it like "The Godfather" "Titanic" "The King's Speech" and many more.

Till then keep watching mivies and judge for yourself because maybe your favoriate will win an Oscar and can be your best picture as well.

Before I go I want to wish my mother a very happy birthday tomorrow. 65 years on the planet and she still doesn't look like she has aged at all. Have a wonderdful, great and happy birthday tomorrow mom!!! Ciao Bloggers!

the tonight show

Jimmy Fallon is now hosting the tonight show and just started last night. Had some mixed reviews in my opinion, but I think he did a great job. But then I remembered Johnny Carson. The man who started it all.

Carson is no longer with us but he will always leave an impression in our hearts. Even the old "And now, Heeeeeeeereeeee's Johnny!!!!" Is a catchprhase that will never die on us that's for ages to come. Even when he left the stage for retirement in May of 1992 and Jay Leno came into the picture

He was ok, but he was no Johnny Carson, but he had some tragedies that followed him. The death of his father, mother and brother but he always had his love affair with cars. He had a lot of cars. It was his hobby and he enjoyed fixing them and driving them and now, he is now retired and is now Jimmy Fallon's turn to follow in some HUGE footsteps

The first episode was pretty good, almost everyone came and gave him $100 when he said "you know who you are and betted me a hundred dollars that I couldn't do it" He also had Will Smith on and U2. Was very good, not great nothing like Johnny Carson but I will watch him (he is better than Conan) Johnny Carson had Ed McManhon Jimmy Fallon doesn't have a sidekick like Conan O'Brien does or Craig Ferguson (he has a skeleton as a sidekick) then again, it's just his first week. I applaud him, and wish him good luck. Till then, ciao bloggers

Food History

Why am I blogging about this? Well maybe because food fascinates me, but in a different way. I love the history of it. Mostly how it began and how it became what it is today. How food became what it is where it started and how it grew to be what it is today.

What do I mean by that. I love to know the history behind the food like Pizza and Cookies and Barbecue. Where did it all start, how did it all start, and did you know some of them were created mostly by accident?

Yes if it weren't for a disgruntle cook cutting thin slices of potatoes and frying them in a fryer, we wouldn't have potato chips. If it weren't for a woman trying to make a chocolate cookie and cutting out a semi sweet chocolate bar, only to have it stay in shape, we wouldn't have chocolate chip cookies. If it weren't for an ice cream man running out of dishes at the 1904 St. Louis world's fair and having a waffle maker make a cone for the ice cream, we wouldn't have the ice cream cone.

Some foods are thought up by pure accident, or genius by people who didn't know what they were doing at the time. A twelve year old discovered the pop-sickle, The Eskimo pie was thought up by a man who ran a candy store and a girl couldn't choose between chocolate or ice cream. So he made something that made food history.

If it weren't for some ingenious inventors we wouldn't have the food we discovered today. I love food history. I don't why, but it intrigues me so, and I will study it more like those people who write the history of pizza or pasta or spam. I think I was put on earth not to only write, learn astrology and celebrity birthdays, but to discover a hidden talent of the history of food. We eat food everyday.

There is always a history behind our favorite foods, how it started what happened to the people behind these creations. Corneal Harland Sanders (the man who gave us KFC) actually ran a gas station and made fried chicken as well, but everyone loved the fried chicken and purchased that more than gas, that he opened Kentucky Fried Chicken. He is now buried in his trademark suit and another is in the Smithsonian *or so I'm told*

Ben and Jerry wanted to make Bagels, but that was too expensive, and went on to do Ice Cream and it was worth it. They are retired but the business still goes on strong. I love watching History Channel when they talk about food like "American Eats" mostly because you learn the history behind the food. And I know a lot about food, and not just eating it. Till then enjoy what you eat and learn the whole history behind it. Ciao Bloggers.

when wil this cold hell end??

Seriously, I mean seriously!!! I can't stand one more snow storm that will cause us to loose our minds, and power. The cold is starting to affect us in the worst way possible. I hate it so much.

I think hell has beyond frozen over with this cold mother nature has given us. What have we done to deserve this??? I hate this weather. I don't mind the cold yes, but this cold?? TOO MUCH ALREADY. I've been hearing on the news how many people are sick and tired o this weather. Even a little boy screaming "JEASUS MAKE IT WARM" has made a YouTube sensation just like the kid, who's brother wouldn't stop biting his finger nonstop.

I guess with snow like this we are pondering what will summer be like. I mean what will it be like? Will it be hotter than hell? Will we be burning our feet off will we try to find relief as best as we can? As we braes ourselves with the next storm, grocery stories 7-11's wawa's are going to have to suffer many customers are coming in for Milk, Eggs, Bread "they need to make french toast people!!!!!" But believe the worst isn't over until we see this snow die and spring arise once more. When will that be? Some people are begging for spring. I know we're going to have rain, but I want the nice sunny weather you get on April 25th, a wonderful perfect date where all you need is a light jacket.

I just want winter to end. I don't believe in a rodent's prediction that groundhog is going to die this year from predicting six more weeks of winter. Till then, try to think of a warm place in your mind. Before you know it, summer will be here and we'll be compiling about the heat. In the words of my grandma: "It's a rule man's a fool, when it's hot, he wants it cool. When it's cool, he wants it hot. Always wanting what it's not." Till then enjoy what we got. Electricity. Till then Ciao Bloggers and happy Valentine's day.

super bowl this year??

Well it came and it went, just like the year so far, and not only did lose and actor from a drug overdose and a groundhog predict six more weeks of winter, we have seen a superbowl game. A very HORRIBLE game.

Seemed as if the Seahawks creamed the Broncos so bad, they didn't want to show a great game at all (well unless you live in Seattle of course) It was just nothing buth win, before win, before win, before win. It seemed that Denver couldn't win at all. They couldn't even get one foot pass the goal let alone get fumbles and Seatle with the ball.

Seattle must be head over heals over their win for sure. I don't think it was an honest. Sure it's the first ime they win, but they just kept creaming the Broncos. I remember a Simpson episode where Homer wanted to own the *shrug* Dallas Cowboys, he ends up getting the Denver Broncos. LOL Well let's just say bad trade. Don't think Peyton Manning was happy either, and he doesn't seem like a bad guy. Better than Tom Brady.

The Commercials this year were ok. Not great. Doritos had a good one involving a time machine that ran on doritos. LOL There was a cute one (by budwiser of course) that involved a puppy and a horse (clydesdale) that love each other. John Stamos (sexy at 50) with his yogurt fetish *although we had to deal with Danny and Joey*  why is he always hot? well Like I said some people look forward to the game, other look forward to the commercials and some look forward to halftime. Bruno did a great job, but Red Hot Chilli Peppers really??? But it was still good.

All in all a boring game, good and bad commercials interesting halftime and well it was just fun. Till then Ciao Bloggers!

FEBRURARY ALL READY????????

Really? I mean where the heck has the time gone? What happens to January? Woosh. Dissappeared as if we didn't have one. What is with this year? Is it trying to end all ready? Mabye good, maybe bad. Life is...
                                                     after all
short. We need to spend as much time as we have on Earth before it is too late and we vanish with time ourselves.

But at least, in this short month, we can remember some important things such as Black history Month, Fire Safety month and Heart health month. But that's one short month to remember all that.

I know we should remember many things about February that made it famous, along with remembering out famous black people who made history; it is also known as THE SHORTEST MONTH OF ALL. unless it's a leap year and you get a 29 out of it.

What I'm trying to say is this month will go by faster than a speeding bullet and we'll in be March before we know it. Enjoy February while you can and hopefully we'll have a fast ending winter soon. Till then, Ciao bloggers.
