Power Rangers: the past, the present and the future

Image result for power rangers

The new movie "Power Rangers" has hit the theaters. What do I think about it? Not much. All I know is what I think about the old Power Rangers. The Rangers of the past in the 90's.

When I was young, maybe ten or elven, I can't tell. I remember the show. The Power Rangers were so popular. They were in tv shows, toy give aways and even guest appearances at the mall. Then they had a movie (before this once of course) it was horrible and did noting to make the Power Rangers even powerful enough to get the money they needed.

They had so many versions of the Power Rangers Brand, it was so weird. So many verities:

   *Mighty Morphin
   * Power Rangers Zero
*Turbo Power Rangers and there's much more

Sadly one of the rangers would die in a tragic car crash in 2001. The classic Yellow Ranger. Her name was Thuy Trang.
Image result for yellow power ranger deathShe never acted much after she left Power Rangers and was killed in a car crash at the age of 27.

Bryan Cranston is in the new version of the movie, but he also was in the classic as well. Voicing a villain in the past, in the new movie, he plays Zordon. Zordon is considered a mentor to the Power Rangers in their missions with every evil villain they come across including Rita Repulsa. Sadly the actress that portrayed Rita has left us.
The other Power Rangers from the original are still here, some have gone through a lot in their life. The actor who was the blue ranger left the Power Rangers because of gay issues, and the actor who was the black ranger left for other acting personas. The others left as well but would never be forgotten as who they were. They still are the Power Rangers that were the ones that started it all.
In my opinion, this new one is not the best movie, but it's not as worse as others make it out to think.
I used to love the old Power Rangers. The new ones are played by high schoolers that try their hardest. The old ones from the past, well they were athletic and gymnast. Maybe these new ones are, I don't know, you can't just a person by their acting abilities, all you can do is see it for yourself.

It's pretty good but remember, If it wasn't for the first Power Rangers show, we wouldn't have this. And what does the future hold for the Power Rangers of tomorrow, another series, another movie anything else in store that started from a Japanese television show? Who knows, if kids love it and toy merchandises sell, that's all that matters.
Till then, let's go Power Rangers! Ciao Bloggers

Look to the cookie, Elaine (Dinner Party episode)

What cookie is Jerry talking about??? The Black and white cookie, that is really a cake not a cookie.

But first off this episode is completely hilarious. George buys a gore-tex coat the he wants to wear to a dinner party that he, Kramer, Jerry and Elaine were invited to. As they get there, Elaine says that they should bring wine and a cake. Although George think Pepsi and ring dings would be better.

George and Kramer go to get wine while Elaine and Jerry get cake. This is where Jerry sees the black and white cookie where he states that if only people would only look to the cookie all our problems would be solved. However; the cookie ends up making him throw up. Meanwhile Elaine fights with someone over a Chocolate Babka and ends up getting cinnamon instead. They have to wait for George and Kramer who have the car but they get problems of their own.

Kramer and George try to get the wine, but the clerk can't break a 100 dollar bill. They had to go to a newsstand and get a Clark bar, penthouse (don't ask) and newspaper. When they get the wine, with George his usual pissy self on being shunned to society on not getting wine, they are blocked by a double parker.

Image result for the dinner party seinfeld Jerry's black and white cookie makes him sick, Elaine's toe is broken by a man with a cane and they have to wait longer as Kramer gets hypothermia and he and George are kicked out of the wine store, break some wine and George's coat is sold to replace the wine. Being angry, all four decide to skip the party.

In my opinion what makes this episode hilarious, is not just the black and white cookie incident Jerry had, but the whole story itself. With Jerry and Elaine and George and Kramer having their issues involving wine or cake and knowing it was never going to work out. Meeting people that were too going to the party as well, to George and Kramer's trouble with getting out of the parking lot because of the double parker (who turned out to be Sadam Husain With Larry David's voice)

At the end it's just another funny episode from a great show and I could say is....

My 10 Ten Favoriate South Park episodes ever

Like I said before we need South Park more than ever now a days, I've notices a few episodes I've taken to liking. Some that are really good and some that were great. Ten of them that I'm going to mention deserve to be in this list is worth mentioning. Why? Because they are that good.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone wrote some of these episodes and believe me they are great. Some are ok, but the number one I will talk about and mention why I think it's the best, I will explain why it is the best in my own words.

Here is my top 10 Best South Park Episodes.

Image result for south park is gay     Number 10: SOUT PARK IS GAY!- This episode depicts South Park's version of Queer eye for the Straight Guy. Making all the men in South Park love gays. However; Mr. Garrison is not pleased because he does not want the men to appreciate the gay culture just for TV fame. Kyle doesn't want to be something he isn't while all the others are apparently enjoying the gay culture and beat him up for it. Trey and Matt stated it wasn't their strongest episode wishing they could have done more besides putting in 'crab people' taking over the world and well, it didn't work out. But an ok episode.

Number 9: MR. HANKEY THE CHRISTMAS POO- One of the first Christmas themed episodes South park has done. Kyle is Jewish and the school is putting on a play. His mother is angry about it because with him and his family not celebrating Christmas, she makes Mr. Garrison forgo the play. Soon Kyle tells everyone about a Christmas poo named Mr. Hankey. Everyone thinks he's crazy and tries his best to admits to his friends that Mr. Hankey is real, but Mr. Hankey only comes to life when he's alone. The townspeople of South Park try to do away with Holiday spirit with getting rid of anything Christian or Jewish related, but soon, after having Kyle committed to a nut house, Stan, Kenny and Cartman find out Mr. Hankey is real and the magic thing at the end is....Kenny survives the episode.

Number 8: CASA BONITA- Based on a real Mexican themed restaurant in Denver, Kyle's mom invited Kyle's friends to Casa Bonita for Kyle's birthday. Being happy, Cartman thinks he will be invited too, but Kyle is not because of all the Jew hate Cartman has given him over the years. It's an all right episode and I like it because Cartman tries to get on Kyle's good side, but it doesn't work out. He invites Butters instead. Cartman kidnaps Butters (In order to do so, telling him South Park was invaded with nothing but flesh eating zombies) and hides him in order to go instead of him. His plan back fires when he's found and get's arrested after going though a quick run into Casa Bonita.

Number 7: THE SUCCUBUS- An old and really class episode involving the late Isaac Hayes as Chef, Chef dates a woman while Cartman has to get glasses. Stan, Kyle and Kenny think that Chef's new girlfriend is changing him in a way that is scaring them. They ask Mr. Garrison and he says that she is a 'Succubus' sucking Chef's life away. Why I like this vintage episode is because it shows a side of Chef that the boys were scared of at first (Before Isaac Hayes left) and this version of Chef was clean shaven and very different. His parents were funny too, both voiced by Trey Parker. Soon they find out how to stop the Succubus and eventually, kill her and Chef apologizes. This is one episode to definitely watch.

Image result for woodland critter christmas Number 6: WOODLAND CRITTER CHRISTMAS- This is another Christmas themed episode and this one is number one on my best South Park Christmas episodes. It involves little woodland critters and Stan. Apparently he gets mixed up in a story on him meeting little critters and he makes a Christmas Tree and a manger. But a Mountain lion stops the progress and... I don't want to give a lot away on this one. It's a very good episode, believe me. There's a twist ending on how it ends. But believe me, Santa Claus does come to save Stan and Kyle who apparently is in this story as well. The reason it is the best Christmas version for South Park is how it's told. There is a narrator telling Stan what to do and eventually he does it, and the critters are so cute, and the music is beautiful. It is one episode that is worth the watch.

Number 5: FREAK STRIKE- Butters is becoming friends with Stan, Kyle and Cartman. And they are watching Maury interview freaks. So they get an idea to glue testacies on Butter's chin. He eventually gets praise from all the other freaks and he gets scared because he doesn't want to reveal to them he's a fake. His parents get at him and ground him. Meanwhile, knowing they don't get the prize, Cartman makes his mother go on Maury to become an out of control child (although I think he already is) I like this episode because it shows that you can't be calling people freaks, even though this show is, but I think what they are trying to say is you can't always put them on talk shows so they can get prizes. That's not how they should be treated. Maury apologizes, Cartman gets angry and reveals Butters for who he really is but, the freaks finger Cartman.

Image result for All about mormons Number 4: ALL ABOUT MORMONS- This is a pretty amazing episode. Mormons move to South Park. One of them befriends Stan. He talks to him about the book of Mormons, and his friends and family are very kind and amazing. Polite all the time and they invite the Marsh family over for dinner one night. Kyle starts mocking Stan for hanging out with Gary (one of the new family members), but deep down, he still thinks he doesn't believe in the book of Mormon. His father; however, starts to feel the book of Mormon [that was translated by Joseph Smith of the Book of Lehi] was all truth. Stan doesn't know what to believe anymore, gets angry, and thinks that it is ridiculous for believing in something that has proof that it ever happened and only one man could see it. Later, Gary says that Stan said that he's ok with the Mormon life but shouldn't other religions for how they choose to believe in their faith. And even though he's not huge fan of his family, he still had beliefs in his faith and doesn't belittle others like Stan did and at the end calls Stan a bigot. After he lives, Cartman starts to respect Gary for what he said. I took a hard look at this episode. I don't judge other beliefs at all. I respect everyone and if they choose to be Mormon, then that's what they choose to be. Even Trey and Matt did a play that involves Mormons. I have nothing against the Mormon religion and I am pretty much happy for them.

Number 3: GOOD TIMES WITH WEAPONS- I swear this is an amazing episode with an amazing theme song to go with it. I should make that song my ring tone. The boys buy some "Authentic Weapons from Far East" when they are at a fair, and decide to portray Ninjas. They used an Anime-theme for this episode so it was pretty cool to see a different side of Kyle, Kenny, Cartman and Stan. They were different versions, but they still had kid sounded voices coming out of their mouths, pretty cool. They pretended they had super powers, only to backfire when Kenny throws one of his star weapons at Butters, hitting him and injuring him. They dress him as a dog and it doesn't work. Cartman decides to use an invisibility cloak only, only to reveal himself being completely naked. Let's just say, he ended up in more trouble than the other boys did because he revealed himself to a bunch of South Park people that were at the fair and well, Kyle and Stan also agreed that Cartman also blinded them emotionally and they got away Scott free. I liked this episode, mostly because of the song, but I also loved the visual and I'm also in Anime,

Image result for super best friends  Number 2: SUPER BEST FRIENDS: An oldie but goodie. This episode has David Blaine in South Park performing Street magic. Cartman, Stan, Kenny and Kyle watch and soon find out about 'Blainetology" Jesus (who is a character on the show) has some Super friends finding out David Blaine is part of the dark arts and might do something bad. Stan decides not to join the "Blainetology" but the other three do. He asks Jesus to help find out more about the cult, knowing later it would participate in a mass-suicide. Afraid for his life, Kyle tries to bail but gets captured and put in a bubble. Stan and the Super Friends try to their best to get rid of the cult. Jesus vs David Blaine. What I think this episode, well not much but it seems it was a pretty interesting episode surrounding David Blaine and cults. Don't trust cults, and how to end it all...Kyle was still in danger and Abraham Lincoln statue was holding the bubble Kyle was trapped in, so the Super best friends built a John Wilks Booth statue to save Kyle.

These are pretty interesting episodes, my top nine but there is one episode that I think is the best out of all them, and they are three of them combined into them....

Image result for The Coon Trilogy
Number 1: THE COON TRILOGY

This has got to be one of the best episodes I have ever seen. I know I'm cheating because it's three in one, but who cares. First off, Cartman is a raccoon and forms a club called Coon and Friends, but he's an asshole and wants to do things his way. But the thing is there is an oil spill (this episode came around the time of the ep oil crises) and the other boys want to do something to help the people. Cartman knows there is another superhero named Hindsight that is somewhat taking credit for what should of happened and leaves. Cartman gets pissed and tries to make Hindsight look like he's making out with Courtney Love (AKA Butters)

Soon there is an evil villain called Cthulhu that arose from the oil spill and arranging havoc around the world which means chaos for the whole world. It soon is revealed that Mysterion (who is really Kenny) tells everyone he has a real power.

Image result for The Coon Trilogy   It seems Kenny is immortal. Which is creeping out everyone else. He tells Kyle and Stan that every time he would die, he would end up in bed, and that is why this episode would be one of the best, the revealing of Kenny's backstory. His immortality. But he soon finds out that his parents were involved in the cult of Cthulhu and tells the goth kids what was going to happen next, but gets killed before getting an answer.

There's one more thing I wanted to add, there's another character named mint berry crunch whom everyone loves, and he tries to figure out what his power is as well. All the other boys are trapped in Cthulhu but he escapes. Kenny decides to kill his life to see if he will awake in bed. It works and he becomes Mysterion and tries to save his friends from The Coon who is now friends with Cthulhu. He tries to figure out his immortality but never gets any answers, and asks the goth kids about Cthulhu. He figures out a few answers but finds out mint berry crunch is brother to one of the goth kids and disappears.
Image result for Mysterion Rises By the end, Kenny doesn't get the answers but mint berry crunch does. He finds out he was born into a different world (ala Superman) and it seemed that he was put on earth for a reason.

Cthulhu is defeated and so was the Coon. The reason I put this episode as the best, I guess would be that we find more answers about Kenny in this episode than any other. I also like it because with this three parter put into one story, we see some boys try to defeat something that cannot be defeated, themselves. I guess the reason I like this episode the most, is because I like Kenny's backstory and what really makes him unique. Now we know why he can never die (except that one season) Matt and Trey both worked together with this episode and with Trey writing the episode and Matt voicing Kenny, they made a work of genius.

Image result for coon vs coon and friends

Till then, South Park will always be there for a long time to come and believe me, they are not going anywhere anytime soon, and with Matt and Trey still working on future episodes for the fans to enjoy, it means we are still like South Park. I like past episodes as well as the present. Some episode aren't that great, but it means they are trying their hardest and these top ten are proof. Ciao for now, Bloggers.
