They are nothing like their characters

   

   I watch some tv, not a lot, but there are some shows that I've seen that I can tell the actor portraying their character is the polar opposite of them. Although a few actors are similar to their character like in the show Glee, actress Lea Michelle is so much like Rachel. Self-absorbed brat that puts everyone down. Here some actors that are nothing like their characters.

  Jim Parsons has portrayed Sheldon Cooper for twelve years. Sheldon is nothing but egotistical, sometimes self-absorbed, sometimes needing to get his own way...only to learn his selfish ways in the fianle.

   Jim Parsons is nothing like that. He is kind, sweet and considered hilarious. His acting is so good, some people believe he is like Sheldon. But I know he's not. He's now acting in broadway.

   Jason Alexander has been in many movies and tv shows, but I'll always know him as George Costanza. Costanza is similar to Larry David, the creator of Seinfeld. Rude, cheap, egotistical and doesn't care if even his fiancé dies.

   Jason Alexander is the polar opposite. He is a nice person who has a wife and two sons (all grown up) and doesn't like to think about past characters. Especially Costanza.

   Hugh Laurie is a British actor and comedian. In the drama House, he portrays a doctor who is rude and mean to not only the workers, but the patients belittling them as well as making them feel they aren't important.

   Hugh Laurie is hilarious. He has a thick British accent that he tries to hide by doing a fake American one. But he is nothing like House.

 Stephanie Bearetz plays a hard ass character in Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Never saw one episode because I couldn't get into it. 

    Her character Rosa is a hard ass and tough to be friends with. Even Andy Sandberg's character can't make her happy.

    Stephanie is different. She's funny, perky and even at times heartfelt.

   In the show the Office, Angela Kinsley plays Angela. The Angela in the Office is somewhat shy, mean and isn't that friendly with the other people she works with. She gets pissed when someone kills her cat and is only friendly once in a while.

   Angela Kinsley is nice is real life. She loves to laugh and believes portraying a character who is stone face quiet is nothing like her.

   Sometimes actors from TV or Movie are nothing like their characters. I just focused on the TV characters. In movie, it's similar. Tom Felton and Hiddleston are nothing like their villainous characters. Other actors can be similar to their characters....but these people are not.

Summer Ends- POEM

 

And this is it

the last week of Summer

it came

and it went

just like every summer does

We had rainy days

hot as hell days

and days that made summer

worth staying

forever

It'll start to get colder,

baseball,

will be over,

football,

has begun,

leaves,

will start to fall

The long days will get shorter

as it stars

to get colder

air conditioners 

replaced

with heaters

Halloween decorations

are out

Christmas

as well

and it seems

summer is gone

in many people's eyes

And so

another season

has come and gone

and autumn has arrived

and we won't see it again

until next year

goodbye summer

we will miss the warmth

9/11 Survivors

 

 25 years and it still hurts. I wasn't the only one that lost someone on 9/11. But I want to look on the people that had close class and survived the tragedy that we still remember today.

    I lost someone I never knew, and his name is on the memorial plaque at ground zero. Here are the celebrities that had close calls with almost perishing on 9/11

   Rob Lowe- He was on Flight 11 days before 9/11. He realized the hijackers were on his flight and were doing a dry run on it. He had no idea how lucky he was that he didn't end up as one of the victims; but he had felt guilty that he didn't stop it not knowing what would have happened.

   He still thinks about it and tries not to think that he was close to death.

   Seth MacFarlane- He was supposed on one of the planes that hit the tower, but he was hungover at the time partying in Boston the night before.

   When he woke up, he realized he was late for his flight. Plus, the time was wrong as well on his ticket. He realized his life was saved by alcohol. He doesn't think about it much as he had been interviewed as he tries to think alcohol saved his life.

    Mark Wahlberg- He too was set to board flight 11, but he decided to take another flight instead. He decided to stay at the Toronto Film Festival and took a private jet. He even admitted who would have taken on those terrorists and save everyone.

      He eventually apologized to the families who lost people on 9/11, especially on that flight.

   Michael Jackson- He was supposed to be on top of the World Trade Center, however, a call with his mother avoided his death. It's true, he was on the phone with his mother while he was supposed to be at the World Trade Center.

    The long phone call caused him to miss tragedy. His brother Jermaine wrote a book about his late brother's life. It's mentioned in there. 

  Sarah Ferguson- She was scheduled to have a meeting at the twin towers. She was running late since she was at an interview. Fortunately, she missed getting killed. She realized that 700 of her employes that were there perished from the tragedy.

   She was grateful yet sadden that not everyone she worked with survived like she did.

 Gweneth Paltrow- She had no idea that she had saved somebody's life. She didn't know till ten years later. A young woman was roller blading and almost was hit by Gweneth's Car. The encounter caused her to miss her train.

    She eventually realized that the young woman was headed to the World Trade Center. Gweneth saved her life.

  

    Steve Buscemi= Even though he didn't have to go to the World Trade Center, he decided to help out. He used to be a junior fire fighter and helped other firefighters trying to find survivors in the wreckage. 

    He stayed for almost a whole day finding bodies and it still haunted him as well as exhausted him. To this day he still remembers what he had went through by helping other firefighters throughout the whole ordeal.

  Pete Davidson- This is more tragic. Like me, Pete Davidson lost someone close to him when he was only seven years old.

  Pete Davidson is an SNL alumnus and the only memory he has of his father is losing him on 9/11. His father, Scott, was helping other firefighters save people from the twin towers that were destroyed 25 years ago.

   He has a tattoo of his father's fire station number on his arm, and he named his daughter after his late father.

 How has it already been 25 years? How does time fly so by and so fast? Well....25 years later, it still hurts.

  It hurts for everyone who either lost someone they loved or knew someone who lost someone. These people survived tragedy through ironic circumstances. Never Forget 9/11

Labor Day ends summer

           It is Labor Day weekend and summer....is almost gone. Why does summer always slip through our fingers? Why does this happen every summer? It's Labor Day when we honor people who labor as well as barbecue and throw parties that symbolizes the end of summer.

   Kids and teachers hate this time of year since it symbolizes the start of a new school year. Kids dread it.... teachers hate it. But it seems that's how every Labor Day ends.

    The ending of summer and the beginning of a new school year. Some kids have started already while some start after Labor Day

   On the plus side.... there are cookouts and barbecues and togetherness with families while they still have the time.

    Summer Vacation might be over, but summer isn't over yet. We have almost two weeks left until.... football, sweater weather, cooler temperatures, leaves crunching between your feet and hot days vanishing.

   The beginning of Autumn starts at the end of September. The 23rd this year as we still have a couple weeks of summer left. 

    It feels as if Summer has already left when September arrives, same with December when winter arrives. 

    Certain people believe that if you are born on a month that falls on a new season change, they are officially an autumn or winter person.

  Beaches becomes empty, certain places close like amusement parks, pools and stuff on the boardwalk at certain beaches.

    Labor Day ends summer fun as the cool weather starts. Some people like me, love autumn. Especially early autumn, when it's not too hot and it's not too cold.

  It feels as if summer was just here and now....it is gone. Why does winter always stay longer than summer? 

  It feels like colder weather stays longer and warmer weather decides to flash by. It happens every year. Same with when after the Fourth of July ending.... Halloween stuff appears.

         Remember what today is really about. A day where people that work are celebrated for their jobs. Even if it's the official mark to the end of summer, we must remember that people who work must be appreciated.

    Today is their day. Today, I am off...celebrating Labor Day. Goodbye Summer, we will see you next year.

named after her

We will miss her
