let's do the timewarp 'once' again

  I'm not a fan of the hit "Rocky Horror Picture show" but now they're bringing it back once again.


   Back in 1975 it was a hit movie staring Tim Curry in Drag. Susan Sarandon was in it as well and so was Barry Bostwick and Richard O'Brien and even Meatloaf.


Today they are replaced in a Fox remake almost 41 years later.

    I never really cared for it, but the songs will STAY IN YOUR HEAD just like that stupid frozen song. Mostly "Let's do the time warp again" That is the song that is most known in this movie.

Tim Curry plays some sort of transvestite (and he's better in drag than he is as a Clown in 'It')  Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick play the married couple who end up in the weirdness show with all these song and dance numbers going on, they soon change into something they are not.

   When it came out, it was a huge hit. People flocked to theaters and dressed as Tim Curry's character and others were dressed in Frank-n-Furner's characters and it seemed to be everywhere back in the seventies.

  Will it still be a hit now 41 years later?
          Since it has come out, some people have mixed feelings. Some agree they should never change while others are for it. I'll give it a shot. Adam Lambert will be in it, but to be honest, sadly, since Tim Curry had a minor stroke and is now in a wheelchair, his role is now minor.

    Hopefully he will do a great job and make it work. But then again, others have tried to re-vamp old movies and failed.
   Peter Pan had Christopher Walken as Hook? Oh god (Dustin Hoffman was better)
They tried 'The Sound of music' Failure.
They even tried "Grease"-that did ok.

This time, it's The Rocky Horror Picture Show's turn. Will it work? Maybe, maybe not. Even if Tim Curry won't be in it a lot, I pray for some positive feedback. Till then: 'Let's do the time warp again.'
