I just learned last night that we lost another beloved actor last night.
His name was David Huddleston. Not many people would know that name unless they were a fan of his movies like "Blazing Saddles" or "Santa Clause: the movie" or one of my favorites of all
"The big Lebowski"
In that movie he plays 'the real Lebowski' that Jeff Bridges character, the dude, is being framed for. He is nothing but an old man who is in a wheelchair most of movie, and he isn't in it much but believe me his presence and anger are mostly seen in this amazing movie. I put it as one of the top ten best movies of my life. Maybe the top five, but it's not my number one.
He was also in the West Wing and It's always sunny in Philadelphia as well. But the top three movies he would be remembered in is
* The big Lebowski
* Blazing Saddles
* Santa Claus: The movie.
I don't really remember Santa Claus: The movie unless I see Nostalgia Critic make fun of it, but it seemed ok, and he enjoyed it I could tell. He does make an amazing Santa Claus
And he was really young when he was young in Blazing Saddles, one of Mel Brooks' fine works of comedy along with Young Frankenstein.
I liked that movie and it was hilarious.
It just won't be the same seeing those movies and thinking, he is no longer here.
He will be missed. But we'll always remember him as:
Santa Claus, A grouchy old rich man in a wheel chair and Olsen Johnson in Blazing Saddles.
GOD REST YOUR SOUL
Strong Fans also cry. Ciao for now bloggers.
