Happy Mother's Day- Poem

 

A day for mothers,

grandmothers,

godmothers,

stepmothers,

even mothers that adopt children

today,

is your day

Once a woman,

gives birth,

to a child,

they are a mother,

I made my mom,

become a mother,

40 years ago,

and I'm happy,

that she's still here

A baby is born,

a mother is born,

giving life,

after birth,

happiness,

is born

for mothers day,

your mom,

deserves breakfast,

in bead,

or brunch,

at a restaurant,

they'll thank you,

flowers,

for mom,

to enjoy,

to brighten their day,

to make them,

feel special,

For some,

their mothers,

are in the heavens,

my grandmothers,

are one of them,

you miss them more,

on Mother's Day,

than any other day

Mother's Day,

is a special day,

for everyone,

that has a mother,

they love,

so,

no matter how you celebrate,

remember the mothers,

grandmothers,

godmothers,

stepmothers 

and every other mother in between,

and remember,

today is their day
