Sesame street 50th Anniversary

Image result for sesame street 50th anniversary celebration I can't believe it's been 50 years since Jim Henson brought us Sesame street. If he were alive, believe me, he would be ecstatic. Created also by Joan Granz Cooney and Lloyd Morrissett, Sesame Street would soon be born

Starting on 1969 on November 10th, Sesame Street premiered on PBS. With having Big Bird looking different than he does now, and Oscar the Grouch was orange before Green.

Learning more about how these characters became what they were today, the anniversary focused on the beginning of Sesame Street and how it remained a classic even if it is now on HBO.

With this special, Joseph Gordon Levitt tells everyone how much he loves Sesame Street (just like I did)

Even though it has changed, it seems to still have the charm it did from years ago. Having many guest stars appear to talk about how Sesame street still has the classic charm, even if it now has cell phones and technology that people like us don't understand.

Bob McGrath, Rosco Omen, Linda (the woman who is deaf and teaches children sign language) appeared in this special with a few celebrities like Kareem Abdul Jabar, Lucy Liu, Amanda Seyfiled, Bill Nye, Josh Gad, Zooey Deschanel...just so many wonderful people giving their greatness to a show that has lasted longer than the Simpsons.

Joseph Gordon Levitt wants to have his picture taken with the famous Sesame Street sign, but when Elmo and a few other  Sesame Street Muppets find the sign has vanished, they try to stall Joseph as much as they can as they go off to find the missing sign.

What happened to it? It was never stolen, Big Bird and his friend Snuffalupagus, took the sign, and made it better.

50 years of learning, helping out, having fun and always wondering where to get to Sesame Street. And we still don't know where to go. Happy 50th Anniversary, Sesame Street
