I always would think he would outlast us all. But sadly, he is gone.
I would not remember him much in the 60's Batman shows but always think of him as a certain mayor of Quahog.
But when he talks about being the caped crusader, he would always love it. After those days ended, he couldn't find much work anywhere else, until the early 2000's when he ended up on Family Guy.
He would always be the best TV Batman just like Michael Keaton would be the best movie version of the caped crusader. Almost all of them from him, to Val Kilmer even Ben Affleck (the one who is portraying him now) had something great to say about him.
Burt Ward was his sidekick, Robin, and I've noticed that the original was more about the comedic aspect and not the heroic thrill of Batman and his sidekick Robin, even Gotham seemed more darker.
He was sad, of course, but happy to know his best friend, Adam.
He also had a guest spot last year on Big Bang Theory, surprising Sheldon on his birthday, which was very nice. He also did voice rolls as himself on the Simpsons and portraying the caped crusader, and himself on Fairly OddParents and portraying a certain character called CatMan. He too, sounding like Adam, well it was interesting but he would think he could fight crime, but couldn't. It was ok. Now the voice is silent.
Sad but true, we will miss him, but never forget who started putting on a suit, fighting crime, and looking out for justice
e.
Adam West.
