Airplane! By the Zucker brothers. It was hilarious and full of laughter and jokes. Made in the 1980s when people in the plane were getting ill, even the piolet over eating fish, Leslie Neilson (portraying a doctor) with Robert Hayes (a hopeless lover and piolet) is the only one that can lend a plane that is going down.
It had funny comedic style and the Zucker brother knew what they were doing. However; they made a sequel and it wasn't the same. Even if Sonny Bono was in it playing the bomber, it didn't help, it wasn't funny.
But there are other parody movies that are far worse than that; as if to say are they are not trying at all, careless, lame and pathetic. And these people will PAY MONEY to laugh at it.
It started with Scary Movie way Sean and Marlon Wayne. It was fine, and funny; however when the second one came around it, was starting to show it was not as hilarious as the first one.
And when the third came, the Marlon brothers left and it was a train wreck with two others to follow and then....
came the real PARODY MOVIES FROM HELL such as:
Epic movie- which involves "who cares it sucked"
Disaster movie- which is very true to their word, destroying their own creation.
They also have, Date movie, Meet the Spartans, Vampires suck and even where it all started... Leslie Neilson in Spy Hard.
From the clever words of: "Die Hard", Leslie Neilson is a spy who has to stop Andy Griffith plot of destroying the world.
Leslie Neilson was also in another Parody film that wasn't great as well, but Spy Hard, was by far his worst.
I feel that these writers of these horrid parody movies are just making a buck and making someone laugh. Who? I don't know and I'm surprised to find out who can find this garbage funny. If I want a good parody movie, I rather watch a Zucker brothers movies over these guys. They were involved with Naked gun movies.
Even though the last Naked Gun wasn't the best, it was still funny, this is not.
Parody movies will always be around to entertain us, make us laugh, make us enjoy the humor of the joke, but these parody movies are not making sense. They're just gross, vulgar and disgusting. They can destroy a celebrities career by making them look worse in their film, just to get a laugh, but it doesn't make me laugh.
I wonder when low brow humor was the normal? When will Parody movies get back to the way they were like it was when we had 'Airplane?' Only time will tell.
Ciao for now bloggers
