Summer of Confusion- Poem

 

Summer is upon us,

It already feels hot,

Watermelons,

Ice cream melting,

and much more

But....

Spring hasn't ended yet,

and yet,

we still feel hot,

the heat might get worse,

and by August,

we might melt

the heat is too much,

and yet,

summer isn't here yet,

confusion on how 

hot

or cold,

comes in spring

hotter days are upon us,

we wear shorts,

short sleeve shirts,

and other times,

tank tops

beaches open,

tourists coming,

sunscreen and much more,

kids are out,

summer is just around the corner

Enjoy it while you can,

summer 2021 is here,

but not for long,

enjoy the warm days,

the long nights,

the middle of the year is here,

and so is summer,

and yet, 

we still wonder,

if this summer,

will be the best
