We Miss you, Regis

  I can't believe 2020 has had more deaths, and this one well...not much of a surprise, but somewhat sad.

   Born on August 25th in the year 1931, Regis Philbin was born. His early career in life started around the 1960's having his own talk show. 

 It was a syndicated tv show, and he replaced Steve Allen. He also had another show called "The Morning show" with another host named Cyndy Garvey. He later went to another memorable talk show called...

 I've always liked him, but I never was a fan of Kathy Lee/ She somewhat had a negative tone with everyone. She later was convinced that, with her clothing style being made by children. Regis tried to get along with her like I did. They even did guest appearences on TV shows like Simpsons and Seinfeld (where Kramer tried to show off his book about Coffee tables)

 Kelly Ripa joined Regis in the 13th season. I couldn't stand her, but she was ok. She started appearing in 2001 and it semed that they were getting along ok.

Until Regis announced his retirement by the 24th season.

 The last episode with him in the chair was pretty tearful. Everyone was sending him goodbye vibes and wishing him the best luck in his future. When he left, Kelly took over with both Michael Strashan and Ryan Secret.

 He was also the first host of the addicting game called "Millionaire" His famous line, "is that your final answer?" would become very popular with this game. He left hosting in 2009, and now...Jimmy Kimmel has celebrities playing the show for their charities.

He actually wasn't a bad singer, and even hosted the first season of AGT before leaving after one season.

 He had honorary awards such as being a Disney Legend in 2011, as well as winning a Daytime Emmy award for outstanding talk show. He even had a Guinness Books of world records for being on tv the most times.

 He sadly passed away this year at the age of 88. Having left his wife and four children, he will ever be known as a Talk Show star, and the original host of Millionaire, but he will never be forgotten. We will miss you, Regis, and we will never forget you.
