Thinking of the word: "Future" well... what does it really mean?
We can't see into the future, but we can imagine it. Things being all computerized, having robots help us as well as the advancement in technology.
Now a days, you can shop on-line and even schedule an appointment to see a doctor. A touch of a button on your phone is now how we do things.
What the future has for us can also bring down businesses as well as restaurants. Mostly deliveries on-line have been getting stronger. The way of the Taxi is almost out the door with UBER and Lyft.
Malls? Not many people know what they are with Amazon taking over.
Sometimes, I think we should remember our past as we figure out our future, but enjoy the present. Will the future give more ways to cure cancer, save lives, help homeless people?
God only knows, but with the economy struggling, it's only a matter of time when we become the dreary future that might be there to stay.
I mean, back in the 80's we relied on BACK TO THE FUTURE to see what we had to see. They would give us flying cars, clothes that can dry itself. Nostalgic stores as well as futuristic restaurants.
Well, it is 2020, and that movie predicted what 2015 would be like. Part of the movie did predict the future.
All right, we didn't have flying cars or hoverboards, but it did give us a glimpse on what could happen. They did bring that movie back in 2015, and I blogged about it as well.
So, do we ever see time travel? Will we get robots to help out our daily lives? Well, time will tell. The future has a lot in store for us, but some of us won't live to see it. Hard to say that it's amazing what we have seen, and are still believing. I always think none of us will see the future, because it will become the present, and the present will be our past.
Till then, enjoy our future, which will soon be the present to us. Enjoy what we have now, since one day, future generations will either enjoy or not what we have given them. Inventions are still being made, and one day... the future will come to us, and maybe what we get, we might like, and what we receive... well we'll see what the future is like.
Back in the olden times, people were still wondering what the future would be like, and even when we are gone, people will still wonder the future will bring us. So, what does the future have in store for us? Well...I guess we'll have to wait and find out. Till then, enjoy the present and...
