90's Nickelodeon vs Today

Image result for 90's nickelodeon shows  What the hell happened to tv shows today??? I remember, when I was a kid, there were good shows to watch on Nickelodeon. Even shows that were popular to kids of the nineties.

There were shows like: Rugrats, Figure it out, Salute your shorts, Rocko's modern life, All that, Alex Mack, Doug, Clarissa Explains it all...and many more shows that I liked. Especially, PETE and PETE. A show about two boys named Pete. Their mom has a metal plate in her head, young Pete has a tattoo named Petunia, they have an interesting friend name "Artie" who was the strongest man in the world.

They too had a movie called "two heads are better than one" I even liked the show. The obsession for Kel's love of orange soda, and being the Urkel of Nickelodeon, being the next door neighbor.  There were other good shows in the nineties. But when SpongeBob came into the picture...let's just say, Nickelodeon changed.

20 YEARS!!!, and it hasn't even ended. I got so sick of it, I quit watching it the end of 2011.

I used to love the old episodes, but now it feels like beating a sponge to a dead whale. The voice actors are fine, but I feel they're doing the same thing the Simpsons are doing. STRUGGLING to find any plot, and when they do, either the characters are annoying...like Patrick being stupid or mean to SpongeBob.

The show was terrible, he was terrible....it was just a mess!!!!! Thank god the guy who portrayed him left Fred as well as nickelodeon to do something better with his life.

Image result for henry danger nickelodeon gifThere was many shows that I loved like: Drake and Josh and iCarly. Those were great shows. They are now gone, and the actors went on to do better things. However there is another show from that creator that has been on longer than both iCarly and Drake and Josh combined. It was:
"HENRY DANGER" I already blogged about it before so I'll be brief. Henry danger is about a boy who turns into a superhero sidekick. He's already 19. I don't think he's a kid anymore. This show was a failure from the beginning. They even have a cartoon as well. I think it's time to put this show to pasture.

Ever of this one girl who used to be on YouTube as well, named Jojo. She is annoying, and how did she get famous so fast? Is it because everyone can have their own hit show now????

Even the cartoons were horrible: Fanboy and Chum Chum (Nick did have a choice of choosing that show or Adventure time. ADEVENTURE TIME WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER!)
The Mighty B! A show about a girl scout in San Francisco who wants to do her best. She even has a smiley face on her finger. It was ok, but it wasn't worth it. They made another Teenage mutant ninja turles that looked more like Teen Titan go wannabes. I didn't like it. The original or the other TMNT was better.

Breadwinners??? Oh god. Sanjay and Craig??? Well there was one cartoon that is still today that seemed to work.

The Loud House: About a boy and his sisters. I've also blogged about them. If it wasn't for that show, I would boycott Nickelodeon FOREVER!

Image result for best nickelodeon shows 90'sI will miss the old nickelodeon, and there are some good shows bringing back classics. Bringing Double Dare back, also going to be bringing All That (don't know if I'll see it but, not bad) Disney has gone down hill since Kim Possible left. Cartoon Network, I don't touch. It seems the past is fading with good shows taken either too soon, or some left to rot away dry out like a sponge. I will always enjoy Classic Nickelodeon.
