WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!!

It was as if we were dreaming,

It couldn't be real but it is...

It took forever, 

the heart ship, the sweat, the pain, injuries that could have ended it all

But it happened

Don't pinch me because.......

EAGLES HAVE WON THE SUPERBOWL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was as if we couldn't believe it our selves. Hearing "Gonna fly now" from the Rocky movie felt real to all of Philadelphia. However; we almost lost it because we were close 33 to 35, then Tom Brady fumbled the ball, and well....History was made.

             The first Super Bowl win for Philadelphia in a very long time. The excitement spewed through Philadelphia after the win. Cars were flipped, Windows smashed, people injured, all because of a win. Now there have been some arrests, and few more that are needed for vandalism.

  Seeing Tom Brady upset became a huge meme on the internet. He, along with the New England Patriot coach, didn't congratulate any of the Eagle players after losing a game that they won over five times. 

Before the Super bowl, SNL did something amazing. A skit that had both Rachel Dratch from Boston and Tina Fey from Upper Darby, in a political skit and let's say it was one of the best skits has done in a long time. It also seemed fitting since both Philadelphia and Boston (aka New England) were around in 1775. It was so funny, one of the SNL cast members couldn't hold in his laughter. It was great.

 

 It was emotional to see the right team win, and it was amazing to watch people's reactions on You Tube. Both Patriot fans upset and Eagle fans ecstatic and crying and laughing with happiness in their eyes and tears. 

  It really did happen, but before that we saw P!nk sing the national anthem, had to see really bad Super Bowl ads (the only good one was the Tide) and Justin Timberlake's mediocre half-time performance. 

    Then, the end. Everyone was at the edge of their seat. Why because we were afraid that we might end up into overtime when Brady threw the ball at the end zone but.....

FUMBLED!!!!!

I guess I was right 10 year wait from the World Series to now. Congratulations to The Eagles! YOU DESERVE THE WIN!
