Kim Possible, In live action?

  Ok, Ok. I have talked about how I loved.....Kim Possible. Until it ended, of course. I thought. It would be great if it ended the way it did, graduation followed by Ron saving the world.


Now I heard about this???
OK, what the f***k is wrong this??? First of all, it have supervillains that are different color skin, have been genetically altered with a body of a monkey and even ones that shoot lasers out of their hands.

What were they thinking, did the geniuses in Disney think kids would love this? Were some of them drunk?


   I don't see how this can become live action. Nickelodeon even tried it with a Fairly OddParents live action movie. IT SUCKED!!!!

Drake Bell played Timmy Turner, grown up of course, and still the fairly OddParents of his, Cosmo and Wanda.

  However; it belittled the actors as well as the show. Cosmo and Wanda sometimes were computer generations of themselves, and then..
Jason Alexander and Cheryl Hines in green and pink make up take over.

Wow, LAME! They even did another live action Fairly OddParents, it was a little less horrid and intense. The actress that plays Timmy's girlfriend, Tootie, is actually not that bad.


 This abomination, is another result of Disney trying to go from Cartoon to Live Action. They're even doing it with their movies:
  *Jungle book (which was actually pretty good)
 *Beauty and the beast (Cartoon was soooooo much better)
*Cinderella (skippable.)

Now they're doing other's like a live action Lion King, Mulan, Dumbo...the list goes on.


 This, however, this is a TV show that grew up with, and loved in cartoon form. I don't know, maybe it's just my 90's kicking in. Kids today, don't even realize that Kim Possible was one of the greatest Disney cartoons, next to Phineas and Ferb. For me, I think it's best to see the CARTOON and not the LIVE ACTION movie. That's just me.

  Some tv shows end in movie form. Hey Arnold ended in the Jungles Movie, where they finally find his long lost parents as he goes on an adventure.
  Ed, Edd n Eddy ended by revealing Eddy's brother, and a dark secret Eddy kept hidden. THOSE WERE GREAT ENDINGS TO GREAT TV SHOWS.

BTW: I want to ask another question. Are they using a naked mole rat with computer graphics, or are they going to use a real live one?

  I wonder how the voice actors are going to feel about this. Praying that maybe one or two are seen in the live action version as either background characters or something else.

   Hoping Nancy Cartwright voices the mole rat. If they can have Jim Cummings voice Winnie the Pooh in a live action movie, they can do something about this.


   Well... with live action movies and tv shows now being the new norm, no cartoon is spared. For me, I'll stick to the classics, even if I am skeptical, I know this one's going to fail, and if it doesn't, then maybe, Disney might have done something right.
For once.

The sad life of Selena

Her name was Selena Quintanilla-Pérez. Sadly, her life tragically cut short by someone she knew.

   I've seen the movie based on her life portrayed Jennifer Lopez (or J-Lo for short) She sadly was killed by her fan, and someone she could trust over missing paychecks. Today, that bitch is still rotting behind bars.

 She was born into a family in Lake Jackson, Texas. The youngest of the Cherokee ancestors. Her father, Abraham Quintanilla Jr., encouraged her and her brother and sister to start a band, since when he was growing, he too tried to be a singer. Appearing in the a Spanish Radio show. The band was named Selena Y Los Dino. 

  Her family owned a Mexican themed restaurant where she and her brother and sister performed.

   In her later years in life, they needed another guitarist whom Selena fell in love with named Chris Perez. However; her father didn't approve, so they eloped. It seemed after they eloped, he was accepted into Selena's family.

She made amazing music and songs that became number one hits. Most of them in Spanish. She started making another album, and also performing (mostly in Texas) where many fans adored her. She would sing most of her songs in English and even Spanish. 

  Some of her songs became wonderful hits, including:

"Dreaming of You"

"Captive Heart"

"I could Fall in love" and many more.

Her final album was in English while her other albums weren't. 

Sadly, her life cut short on the evening of March 31st 1995. Yolanda Salvador was accused of stealing as well as having issues with their fans, and her being in charge.

  After having a meeting with her father and Yolanda, as they tried to wrap their head around why Yolanda would steal and lie. When Selena went to confront her at a nearby hotel, she was shot through the arm, which proved fatal as she died on the ride to the hospital.

  The movie, "Selena" came out two years after her death. That tells the story of Selena and how she became the star she was in the 90's until her death. 

   They do show some pictures of Selena right around the end of her life, as she performed to the song of "Dreaming of You" That song is so heartwarming. As well as the movie, it brought many people to tears.

  Selena's life might not have been glamorous. She wanted her life to be simple. She never wanted to sing music, or play drums, but with her father encouraging her, it seems it ran in the family. Her father being a singer back in the day, it might entered the generation.

  Many singers have been inspired by Selena to sing wonderful songs. Like: Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Marc Anthony, Katy Perry, Fergie and even Selena Gomez. Her parents named her after the superstar Selena whom she never knew since she was only one when Selena died.

   Her funeral was attended by thousands of people, a huge memorial for her. It seems there have been dedications to her, by movie, her songs that were performed by other singers and even a plaque dedicated to Selena and her family. Her parents and brother and sister still alive today.

     I never knew Selena until after she died. It's sad yes, I have her songs and listen to them. Life is short, it could even be taken by a bullet from a jealous fan. It seems unreal. Sometimes, when I watch the movie, I wonder if J-Lo is Selena, of they are just showing old photographs and videos of Selena.

Till then, we will always remember her from her music to the movie. And her memory will live on forever as well as her legacy on the music she made. 

   Although her life cut short, she still is within our memories and our hearts.

Barbara Bush: One great first lady

Her name was Barbara. She passed away at the sweet age of 92 on April 17th.

    Around the end of the Regen era, she and her husband George H.W. Bush were in the white house.

 I wasn't the huge fan of the Bush's, but she spoke the truth and her mind was pure gold. She was one classy lady that was known for her pearls around her neck as well as being one of the top 10 best first ladies next to Abe Lincoln's wife, Mary Todd.

   Her real last name was Pierce, she met her husband, George, as he was being stationed to battle in WWII and they met at a dance at the age of 16. They fell in love and had five wonderful children (six if their oldest daughter survived Leukemia and didn't die at the age of three)

   She was known for her gray hair that she had, with people thinking George H.W. was his mother, but it seemed she developed the gray hair in her forties.

    Her son, George W. Bush would soon be president after Clinton. He too was ok, but again not a fan of the Bush's.

  I idolized Barbara for speaking her mind, having those pearls around her neck and for being one hell of an amazing first lady. She made George Bush Sr. and Jr. stand out in their lives.

     Sadly, she was ill and losing battle with the illness that plagued her. She passed away, refusing treatment with her family by her side.

We shouldn't remember on how she left us, but how she inspired us. For being a powerful woman. There should be more people like her today. Again, I think she was the one that inspired a generation of people to be who they want to be.
She and George would make the early 90's one amazing year. From 1988 to1993.

 Other first ladies after her, tried to follow in the footsteps of greatness. I'm not saying they're bad, except maybe one I'm not gonna say who.
  Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton were the best, still are.
 

   In the years Barbara was the first lady, a tv show named "The Simpsons" started. George stated, "Families should be more like the Walton's and less like the Simpsons." Ironically, when Clinton was president, the Simpsons had an episode where George and Barbara were living across the street. Barbara was voiced by Maggie Roswell and George voiced by Harry Shearer.
 It was a funny episode. And at the end, it wasn't bad, but it made George and Barbara seeming to be bad neighbors or something like that (BTW: Gerald Ford, voiced by Dan Castellaneta, eventually moved across the street after the Bush's left)

  It seems the staff of the Simpsons, or Marge, wrote a letter to the Bush's and a couple years later, Barbara wrote back:

 Barbara, you are a gem, a one and only. Sad that I was only young when your husband ran for the presidency, and your son...well not great but OK. 

   She was suffering from Grave's disease and had congestive heart failure as well. She is missed by many, not known by a lot (Compared to this generation) but she is an icon and will always be remembered as an amazing First Lady.
