Eight years have gone by fast

another year older

for my one

and only

Goddaughter

Similar to me

in every way

Sweet

kind

Beautiful

charming

Josie Rae

or Jojo

as I love to call her

has been in my life

for eight years now

eight wonderful years

Eight years

of love and joy

and many more to come

love her

since I first met her

From her Baptism

to her future First Communion

I have been there

and I'm helping her grow

with three older brothers

no one

will mess with her

At times she is like me

and at other times

she is herself

but I see

a younger me

staring back

at me

Sweet as ever

sometimes 

gets timid

but nothing to fear

your fair godmother

is here

Celebrating 8 years

I love her

even if I'm not with her

it doesn't mean,

I still care for her
