I'm not trying to become the next Sigmund Freud here, but I've always wondered what our dreams are representing.
Does it predict our future, our past, our present? Does it have something to do with our lifestyle? A dream can be anything. Revolving the person dreaming and what their life is like.
Sometimes, your dreams can mean more than what you're thinking. As if to say, some dreams are giving you info on what will happen next.
Most dreams come black and white, but other times, it can be in vivid colors as you, the dreamer explore what is going on in the dream.
Some dreams do have meanings of what our future will be, sometimes we can even predict deaths, of loved ones or something else.
Dreams are different for everyone....they can be for the best or the worst of our lives. In color, black and white, or vivid...our imaginations create the most of us as we sleep. It seems dreams can change us as we awake into reality. Can we be scared of our dreams, can our dreams change us for the better???
Not always, but I feel sometimes we dream because we want to escape our reality. Our dreams are there to help us, guide us, even protect us. We can fly, fall from the sky, and never get hurt. Does it mean when we wake up...could we do all those things? We can get hurt in reality, but it feels so different in the dream world.
And with certain movies making us think someone will kill us in our dreams, might make us fear more on going to sleep.
"Nightmare on Elm Street" is only a movie based from a book of kids who feel that 'Freddy Kruger' is out to get them.
Dreams can be damaging to our minds once nightmares creep up on us, but we have to always say... It's only a dream.
So, can we understand dreams, nightmares, day dreams? Yes and No. Sometimes it relies on the person themselves, and what their dreams really mean. If it is there frighten us, help us, or even calm us into a happy dream.
Nightmares do occur, and we can understand them as well, being as if someone can fully comprehend why they have nightmares, and try to pinch themselves to wake up. Our dreams are different, and every night, as we dream, we try to understand them.
Maybe it's best we never know, as we close our eyes and hope for happy dreams in our mind. And when we do figure out what our dreams, the sweeter reality can be.
SWEET DREAMS
