Goodbye Griffith Goodbye Borgnine

Is it me or is this year just cursed with losing great talent. Now we lost two great actors. Ernest Borgnine and Andy Griffith.

Andy Griffith had his own show from 1960 to 1968. He was a struggling widower sheriff who took in a child named Opie (portrayed by Ron Howard) and his sidekick Barney Fife (portrayed by the late Don Knotts)

Andy Griffith also was in Matlock as well for a few years. He portrayed Matlock of course. He was in other television shows as well, but was in small rolls. He was still acting was still acting in his old age in the movie Waitress where he played an old customer named Joe who always come in for a piece of pie.

But his most known was for portraying that Sheriff which I bet he'll be doing in heaven with Barney Fife.

Another great we lost recently was Ernest Borgnine. He was 95. He was most known for McHale's Navy portraying Quentin McHale, the lead. He was many movie roles as well. He also was in Airwolf, voiced a superhero on Spongebob Squarepants, and won an Academy Award for Marty.

Ernest Borgnine was still acting in his old age. He was in the skit "what's up with that" on SNL. Mostly his last known TV performance. He never got a chance to say much, but he was still cracking up at the end. And made us laugh all the time, no matter what character he played.

He and Griffith will be missed. Goodbye both great talented actors. RIP and hopefully you'll like my dog Fudge as company with u.
