worst to best potato chips

Everyone has a favorite potato chip. For me, I love Herrs' but this will be from worst chip brand to best. Doesn't matter the flavor, or the texture of it being seasoned or rippled anything else. This is just by brand only, but for me...Herr's will be number one. But let's see which is the worst.

   HORRIBLE BY CHOICE:

POP CHIPS- I have nothing negative on these, but the reason they are considered be in the horrible category is the texture of these chips. The only plus would be that they are not fried, but the thing with these chips are....they aren't very edible. You can serve these if you want, if you're on a diet, or avoiding eating chips at all cost.

MUNCHOS- A potato chip that taste less like a true chip would and more like eating gross dirty potatoes from the soil. No offense, but has anyone ever wanted to try a Munchos chip for sure? I'm not one to pry about it, never eating these chips at all, but for these, they really aren't as popular as the other brands. If you want to dip these chips at any purpose, yo won't be pleased with the satisfaction. PASS

KETTLE BRAND- These potato chips are not one of the best. Granted, they are known for their kettle cooked style potato chip, but they aren't really that amazing. Sure they can be good to bring if you don't have any other brands to look forward to. I've had them before, but they aren't that memorable  a potato chip brand can be.

ROUTE 11 CHIPS- Never was a fan of this brand. Coming from the southern states, these chips have also been responsible for interesting flavors like Mama Zumma's revenge where this chips hits the flavor levels to over 100 degree and Chesapeake bay which has a seafood taste. Is it horrible? No, why is it here? It's just a chip brand that isn't known very well.

OK, BUT NOT WORTH THE BUY:

DEEP RIVER- Another kettle cook potato chip brand that isn't known that well. You don't get a big bag of it, but it's still ok. Coming in many verity of flavors, this chip has something that the Kettle Cook Chip potato chip brands is the taste. It has edge as well making this chip taste as if it was cooked in a kettle all day. Had them before, and they're not have bad. My advice, stick to single and light flavors so it won't over power the chip.

MISS VICKIE'S- Like Deep River, Miss Vickie's chips are considered a small bag grab and buy. Like deep river, Miss Vickie's chips are considered pretty good. Maybe even better, but not the best. Miss Vickie's chips have a taste of old fashioned cooked chips. They aren't very well known as other kettle cooked chips, but they are worth a try, if you can find one.

UTZ- Everyone knows what Utz is. It's a chip company started in Pennsylvania by a family of potato farmers. It grew to become what it is known today. Chips that are...ok. I would not care much for these as I would other brands. But they aren't the worst. These chips kind of have an interesting taste to it, as well as having a history of making other styles of snack foods. They also have a brand called Zappo's that has more a Cajun flavor to it.

WISE- These Chips are another brand from Pennsylvania. Created to make the best chip, they don't come close. They aren't horrible, but they aren't great. These chips have their good moments as it is enjoyed by many people. They have interesting flavors, but they aren't the best. They beat out in some brands like UTZ on its taste. That and the mascot being an Owl, but the reason they aren't number one, they aren't much recognized.

GETTING THERE, IN TASTE:

CAPE COD- Chips known in the Northeast, they are considered pretty tasty. Not horrible, but still have a great crunch. Having them in many flavors, Cape Cod is considered one of the top ten when it comes to chips. Tasty, flavorful and much more, but why aren't they number one, well. some people might not know about them as well as we do in the east side, but they are considered a really good chip with a good crunch

PRINGLES- The tube shaped chip. Created by scientist in Proctor and Gambles and named after a street in their hometown, these chips changed everything. Having it become a new revaluation in the way chips are made. Why aren't they number one? They do have flaws. Some of the chips might end up broken in the tube, while other times they make a bit of a mess during packaging. It seems you can make nifty speakers out of the tubes after you finish.

THE BEST OF THE BEST:

LAYS- A chip that is the staple of America and every other part of the world. Why is this not number one? Two other chips are better, in my opinion of course. I've tried these chips They are good, flavorful and have many verities. Even kettle cooked, or 3D (poppables) and much more. They are the best for many people, but I find two other chips better than this

RUFFLES- Ruffles has R-r-r-r-idges. Can't get that jingle out of my head, and this has to be the best rippled potato chip ever. It is made for dips. And if you dip, you must dip once. (or dip from each end) This chip was made for dippers and people that love the flavor the chip as the ripples get the tip of the tongue taste sensation

HERRS- The number one best potato chip is the one I've grown up with when I was young. Still love the taste, and have been to the factory to see them make the chips. This chip company was brought up by a family in Nottingham, Pennsylvania. Growing into a huge company making more than just chips. They also make cheese curls, popcorn, tortilla chips even corn chips. This is my number one best chip, and i would eat this every day if I would.

Everyone loves snack foods. Potato chips are considered the best, and number one eaten snack food. Open a bag, and you never know how many chips you'll eat. For some, they will eat a whole bag (or tube if you eat Pringles) but, we can't hide the fact that we still will always crave that favorite salty treat...potato chips
