A janitor invented flamin' hot cheetos

It might be true or not, I'm not sure. But, I don't eat Cheetos. Flamin' hot Cheetos were invented by a janitor that worked with the Frito-Lays company. How is that true? Is this another food accident? Well, here's the story.

Cheetos itself was created in 1948 by C.L. Doolin. He was was also responsible for Fritos creation as well. This time, they wanted to make a puff flavored snack. Like cheese curls or cheese sticks. They created a style calling it Cheetos. How did they get the name?  Who knows.

They didn't really get popular till the 80's when a Cheetah loving mascot named Chester started becoming the face of the Cheetos brand. Still is today. Although he's now 3D, he still is handing out Cheetos. But when did Flamin' Hot get into the picture?

In the late 90's, around the time Chester Cheetah was craving his Cheetos, a janitor named Richard Montanez was working. He found a bland bag of Cheetos, brought it home, and added his own spices. He thought he had something there. Giving the product to corporates, they tried it and well....the rest is history.

Montanez moved from janitor to executive within a couple of years when the Flamin' Hot Cheetos was the highest selling Cheetos. Making it himself, he sold the recipe and now....he's almost a billionaire. But I don't know about that.

Now, he is a cooperate speaker, giving speeches for people who also have a dream to succeed. He even is the vice president of PepsiCo. Which also owns Frito-Lays. He says that sharing his idea was the best thing that ever happened to him.

I might be stretching the truth a little bit there, so I apologize in advance. This idea Montanez had became something that happened. Now everyone loves spicy foods. Even in cheese form. I'm not a huge fan of spice, but a little's ok. Flamin' Hot Cheetos is the number one in the best of the Cheetos brand. They even made recipes out of it. And it wouldn't have happened if it weren't for that one man, and his idea to make a spicier Cheeto

worst to best potato chips

Everyone has a favorite potato chip. For me, I love Herrs' but this will be from worst chip brand to best. Doesn't matter the flavor, or the texture of it being seasoned or rippled anything else. This is just by brand only, but for me...Herr's will be number one. But let's see which is the worst.

   HORRIBLE BY CHOICE:

POP CHIPS- I have nothing negative on these, but the reason they are considered be in the horrible category is the texture of these chips. The only plus would be that they are not fried, but the thing with these chips are....they aren't very edible. You can serve these if you want, if you're on a diet, or avoiding eating chips at all cost.

MUNCHOS- A potato chip that taste less like a true chip would and more like eating gross dirty potatoes from the soil. No offense, but has anyone ever wanted to try a Munchos chip for sure? I'm not one to pry about it, never eating these chips at all, but for these, they really aren't as popular as the other brands. If you want to dip these chips at any purpose, yo won't be pleased with the satisfaction. PASS

KETTLE BRAND- These potato chips are not one of the best. Granted, they are known for their kettle cooked style potato chip, but they aren't really that amazing. Sure they can be good to bring if you don't have any other brands to look forward to. I've had them before, but they aren't that memorable  a potato chip brand can be.

ROUTE 11 CHIPS- Never was a fan of this brand. Coming from the southern states, these chips have also been responsible for interesting flavors like Mama Zumma's revenge where this chips hits the flavor levels to over 100 degree and Chesapeake bay which has a seafood taste. Is it horrible? No, why is it here? It's just a chip brand that isn't known very well.

OK, BUT NOT WORTH THE BUY:

DEEP RIVER- Another kettle cook potato chip brand that isn't known that well. You don't get a big bag of it, but it's still ok. Coming in many verity of flavors, this chip has something that the Kettle Cook Chip potato chip brands is the taste. It has edge as well making this chip taste as if it was cooked in a kettle all day. Had them before, and they're not have bad. My advice, stick to single and light flavors so it won't over power the chip.

MISS VICKIE'S- Like Deep River, Miss Vickie's chips are considered a small bag grab and buy. Like deep river, Miss Vickie's chips are considered pretty good. Maybe even better, but not the best. Miss Vickie's chips have a taste of old fashioned cooked chips. They aren't very well known as other kettle cooked chips, but they are worth a try, if you can find one.

UTZ- Everyone knows what Utz is. It's a chip company started in Pennsylvania by a family of potato farmers. It grew to become what it is known today. Chips that are...ok. I would not care much for these as I would other brands. But they aren't the worst. These chips kind of have an interesting taste to it, as well as having a history of making other styles of snack foods. They also have a brand called Zappo's that has more a Cajun flavor to it.

WISE- These Chips are another brand from Pennsylvania. Created to make the best chip, they don't come close. They aren't horrible, but they aren't great. These chips have their good moments as it is enjoyed by many people. They have interesting flavors, but they aren't the best. They beat out in some brands like UTZ on its taste. That and the mascot being an Owl, but the reason they aren't number one, they aren't much recognized.

GETTING THERE, IN TASTE:

CAPE COD- Chips known in the Northeast, they are considered pretty tasty. Not horrible, but still have a great crunch. Having them in many flavors, Cape Cod is considered one of the top ten when it comes to chips. Tasty, flavorful and much more, but why aren't they number one, well. some people might not know about them as well as we do in the east side, but they are considered a really good chip with a good crunch

PRINGLES- The tube shaped chip. Created by scientist in Proctor and Gambles and named after a street in their hometown, these chips changed everything. Having it become a new revaluation in the way chips are made. Why aren't they number one? They do have flaws. Some of the chips might end up broken in the tube, while other times they make a bit of a mess during packaging. It seems you can make nifty speakers out of the tubes after you finish.

THE BEST OF THE BEST:

LAYS- A chip that is the staple of America and every other part of the world. Why is this not number one? Two other chips are better, in my opinion of course. I've tried these chips They are good, flavorful and have many verities. Even kettle cooked, or 3D (poppables) and much more. They are the best for many people, but I find two other chips better than this

RUFFLES- Ruffles has R-r-r-r-idges. Can't get that jingle out of my head, and this has to be the best rippled potato chip ever. It is made for dips. And if you dip, you must dip once. (or dip from each end) This chip was made for dippers and people that love the flavor the chip as the ripples get the tip of the tongue taste sensation

HERRS- The number one best potato chip is the one I've grown up with when I was young. Still love the taste, and have been to the factory to see them make the chips. This chip company was brought up by a family in Nottingham, Pennsylvania. Growing into a huge company making more than just chips. They also make cheese curls, popcorn, tortilla chips even corn chips. This is my number one best chip, and i would eat this every day if I would.

Everyone loves snack foods. Potato chips are considered the best, and number one eaten snack food. Open a bag, and you never know how many chips you'll eat. For some, they will eat a whole bag (or tube if you eat Pringles) but, we can't hide the fact that we still will always crave that favorite salty treat...potato chips

The Writing Bug- Poem

It's not a bug that you can catch,

it's something deep inside,

that sparks the imagination

A creative feeling,

deep inside you,

as you write,

about anything,

in a journal,

in a poem,

in a storybook

When I was young,

I caught the bug,

and I still have it in me,

It never went away,

Being a writer,

can be hard for some,

the bug will never be in them,

the writing bug will never spark their creativity,

when will they spark

creativity is not for everyone,

having the writing bug,

will never be in them,

it doesn't mean,

they are going to have something,

special in them

The writing bug,

comes once in a while,

for one special person,

a person who loves to write,

loves to make stories,

loves to express their feelings in words,

Anyone can be a creative writer,

only if they have the feeling,

and the passion to write,

However this bug,

is not contageous,

this bug comes once in a blue moon,

to someone aching with passion,

to express in story,

in details on how they want to write,

with love,

fear,

emotion,

this is one bug,

that is one in a million

One bug that can only come,

in the heart,

one bug that,

you want to get,

but only if you have,

the passion to write,

then it will be inside you,

forever

Halloween candy in August???

Why does this happen to us every GD year? It's not even Mid-August. Geeze. I know Autumn is coming and I already have seen Pumpkin flavored spices, lattes and mixes. Even cereals are getting pumpkin spice flavors

It's only early, maybe mid-August almost but....OMG WAY TOO EARLY for Halloween Candy. Getting it in bags, chocolate bars, Reeses Cups and much more. I did a blog about the best and worst Halloween candy before.

I love early Autumn. I mean the air gets cooler, the heat dies down, the leaves change color. But everything else...I don't like. Not a huge fan of Pumpkin. I don't even like the taste. Apples start to become popular, watermelon vanishes.

The Holidays start to come sooner. Even some Hobby stores that are still in business are already putting up Christmas stuff. WAY TOO EARLY!! Halloween candy, I might understand, but it's still too soon for me. Before we know it, it will be October, and Christmas stuff will start to appear.

Candy corn becomes popular. I hate Candy Corn. Even Wax lips and anything that would scream Autumn. For me, I go with a classic chocolate bar, or a Milky way. Some candies change colors to set an Autumn mood.

Candy is good, in moderation, but with Halloween not even close to here, we don't need to see Halloween costumes up too. I mean Pumpkin themed everything it's just too soon. I don't know. Maybe with my birthday around the Holiday season, it's just too soon for me.

Before you know it, Santa Claus will be wanting Halloween candy. Well, too soon for me. It's August, it's still summer. You gotta give us a breather, Holidays. Wait till AFTER Labor day to start all this craziness. Every year....the holidays do get closer. Before you know it, we'll be seeing Christmas stuff in August. PLEASE GOD NO

We can't avoid the Noid

If you were born in the 80's, like me, you may remember pizza being well...interesting. What do I mean by that?

Some Pizzas came with prizes, give aways and even mascots. Pizza Hut did have a mascot when they opened their mascots, but it's no longer around. Little Caesars had it mascot. A little man dressed in a toga shouting Pizza! Pizza!

Dominos wanted to know that their pizza is considered the best quality. How? Well they used this mascot that was trying to destroy pizzas, but can't destroy Dominos pizza. First off. What the hell was this thing? Was he a man dressed in a rabbit suit?  Well...whatever it was... it hated Dominos pizza.

Created by the late Will Vinton, Dominos made the Noid it's mascot that could not destroy their pizza. I don't know why it would want to destroy their pizza. I feel it's already destroyed. Never really ordered from Dominos that much when I was young. We had pizzas from other pizzerias.

Around the mid 1980's Nintendo made a video game called YO! Noid! Why??? I never even heard of this game. Granted I was only a little girl at the time. But still...a video game? Never played it once, but I guess it was popular back then. I don't even know what's about. I guess finding and destroying pizzas until you get to the last level which is a Dominos.

However, in 1989, The Noid's reputation was destroyed. A man in Georgia was named Kenneth Noid thought that Dominos was mocking him with the so called 'NOID' fiasco that was going on. He decided to take matters into his own hands. Going into a Dominos, holding two workers hostage, and keeping himself in that Dominos until he was taken in by police. The workers were saved, but I think quit their job. He killed himself later in 1995.

The Noid might have ended his run in Dominos, or so we thought. He was still being idolized in TV. Making appearances on Family Guy (where Mayor Adam West kills the Noid) The Simpsons mocked The Noid on several occasions. T-Shirts, Bumper Stickers anything with The Noid on it was selling like hotcakes. Maybe because, even though he was gone with Dominos, he was still being remembered for how strange he was.

We all thought he was gone. But it seems this year, in April, while we were all getting back to Normal from Covid. It seemed Dominos made a new ad about their delivery vehicle that could hold many pizzas. They had a 3-d version of the Noid in it. It seemed the Noid has returned to Dominos almost 31 years after the Noid retired from Dominos. WOW!

Dominos has been known for many things, but the biggest thing was not just changing their Pizza to make it better, but The Noid and his attempt to destroy their pizzas. Even if he fails, he seems to amaze us in some way. I guess....we really can't avoid the Noid.

Kim Possible- Best Disney Carton ever

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I love this show. I've loved it since the first season. What do I really think about it.

Back in the late 90's early 2000's, I got into the Disney Channel. Ok I was around sixteen at the time, but who cares. I was sick most of ninth grade. This show on Disney started showing up about a cartoon teenager who fights crime as well as high school drama. Voiced by Christy Carlson Romano (who was in Even Stevens at the time) voiced Kim Possible. Gave this show a try, and was hooked.

Kim had a partner and best friend named Ron Stoppable. Later, in the last season, they were best friends and eventually became boyfriend and girlfriend. Kim had a rival, a best friend, and a lot of villains to fight.

I've talked about all the Villains before. But I want to talk about my favorite two. With Senor Sr. and Senor Jr. a close second,,, my favorite villain partners are Drakken and Shego. Shego especially. Why, because she has the brain power as well as fighting power. She even has a strange backstory where she used to be a good guy with her brothers. But she loved Evil more than anything. Voiced by talented Mad TV actress Nicole Sullivan.

Drakken is considered an evil villain. Used to be a scientist that knew Kim's dad. Had his skin turned blue, we never found out why. He might be evil and tries his best with evil plans, but without Shego, he's considered nothing but a goofball. He is voiced by John DiMaggio who was also best known for Bender in Futurama. You can hear some of Bender in his voice.

Like I said before they did two movies. One that was good and another that was going to be the series finale. They decided to make a final fourth season instead. A Sitch in time was the first. Going to the past, present and future to find out what Kim would be like without her best friend Ron by her side. Seeing how they became friends since they were kids, and Shego takes over their town. I loved this movie

So the Drama is about Kim getting a boyfriend, who ends up working with Drakken and Shego (he's a robot) She eventually finds out too late and Ron eventually confesses his love to her. Knowing that he was jealous of Kim's new boyfriend Derek. I thought it was a very good movie, but not as great as 'A Sitch in time' but I grew to like it

I've talked about the final episode before, so I'll keep it short. Kim and Ron graduate, but it seems some aliens kindap Kim as well as Drakken. Ron and Shego team up to save them. Ron finds his 'inner self' (It's hard to explain if you haven't seen many episodes of the show) Saving Kin. I think Drakken and Shego start having a crush on each other I don't know. But we never get to find out why Drakken was always blue.

Then, Disney changed for the worst! I stopped Disney Channel by the time I was leaving College. I watched a few old episodes of Kim Possible as well as a few other Disney episodes. Phines and Ferb was their last and best Disney Cartoon. Now....oh god. They've gone live action. They even made a live action Kim possible movie.

I don't remember many of the actors in this movie. Some were mediocre, and some were just ok. This movie is nothing like its predecessor. Even if Christy Carlson Romano did a cameo role in this, it didn't help. I'd rather her and Will Fridle (who voiced Ron) to play the mother and father. It was just stupid. The only plus was the actors playing the villains. Especially Patton Oswald who voiced Dementor and played him int his movie. At least they watched a little bit of it.

Thank god Disney+ has been giving us Kim Possible show as well as the two movies (three if you count that crappy one) So, you can still watch it with your kid, if you were a fan of this show like I was. Thank god there were some good cartoons on Disney Channel, and Kim Possible was number one. Well, for me anyway.
