We are still in the pandemic stage, and with autumn just a few weeks away, people wonder if there will be any holiday celebration this year.
The fear of the pandemic is getting people to wonder if it is safe to celebrate any holiday this year. The first one many celebrate is Halloween. People would decorate their house to make it spooky, and hand treats out to kids. Some states feel it is best not to do that this year.
And some kids....are not pleased. Yeah, you can hand candy that could be poisonous to little ones. Even if you wear gloves, will it help? No. I mean kids love candy, but they love it more on certain holidays, especially Halloween, where your candy wrapper can glow in the dark.
Is it sad? Well maybe for the kids, but the candy and other treats are still available, and you can always decorate your house and have a small get together through Zoom or other streaming videos with your friends.
And don't forget about the movies like: "Halloween", "Nightmare on Elm St.", "Casper" and don't forget my favorite... Hocus Pocus.
With Disney+ streaming services around, they decided to make a sequel that is now in the works. Bette Midler and Kathy Najimy are both back. Sarah Jessica Parker, I'm not sure, but if she's not in it, no biggie. She was my least favorite. But with the pandemic still here, I don't know when it's coming out
Don't be upset if there is no trick-or-treating this year. Halloween will still be here, but it will be more of a careful, cautious, safe Halloween, even if you don't get candy.
Note to self: you might want to stock on candy and candy bars beforehand.
