Addam's Family- throughout the years

Image result for addams family tv show With the new movie out, I'd like to talk about my incites on this show/movie/god knows what.

What is the Addam's Family? Who are they? Where did they get their start?

Well... It started around the 60's with a cooky family with:

Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester, Lurch a hand named Thing....

"They're Creepy, they're cooky…" they even were a cartoon. They stared on a Scooby doo movies. I don't know if the original actors voicing them, but it was ok.

John Astin (Sean Astin's father) portrayed Gomez and he actually wasn't bad. I don't remember many of the other actors, but I think some of them are dead, except for the actress who plays Wednesday and John Astin as well.

It started getting better in the early 1990's. 1991 brought Anjelica Houston to the big screen as Morticia and the late Raul Julia as Gomez. They had pretty good actors like Christina Ricci as Wednesday and Christopher Lloyd as Uncle Fester. I don't really remember this one, but all I know, they picked really good.

I think it had something to do with Uncle Fester and Gomez being related. but haven't seen each other in a while. I guess they have a mother.... Like I said, I don't remember it as I do the sequel because at the end....Morticia is pregnant.

Image result for addams family values In Addams Family Values, well....it was good. Surprisingly good, and sadly...we lost Raul Julia two months after it was in theaters to an illness. The movie was dedicated in his memory. They even changed a few actors. First off the actress who played the grandma was replaced from the late Judith Malina to Caroline Kane (who I like better)

Image result for addams family values  There's even a pretty good story involving Uncle Fester. He falls in love with a nanny (played by Joan Cusack) who is not only looking after the children but is after....Fester. To keep Wednesday and Pugsley from knowing anything, she suggests to Morticia and Gomez to send them to a summer camp where they seemed to be tortured. However; they turn things around after finding out that their uncle could be in trouble.

There are guest stars in this movie as well. Not just Joan Cusack. Nathan Lane, David Hyde Pierce even...without knowing it Cynthia Nixon. She played the hippie Nanny.

Well, the baby ends up getting "sick" after Uncle Fester has moved in with the nanny. Making Gomez sick as well (sad that Raul was sick at the time of filming, so tragic isn't it)

The kids escape camp after they destroyed a play, and Wednesday finds love with a shy boy.

The nanny (Joan Cusack) goes crazy kidnapping all of the Addams and it is up to the baby to save them. Which the baby does.

Here are some interesting facts. The baby (although it's a boy) is play by twin female toddlers. The voice was created by the same woman who voices Anjelica Pickles.

Fester does find love at the end when their friend has a nanny of their own, who was just like him in everyway.

After wards....after Raul Julia died, they didn't make anymore Addams Family movies until...

Image result for addams family reunion 1998 when...they had the reunion movie. I did not even see this and it looked atrocious. The cast was different, the story was different, Jesus! The only thing that was a positive in this was Tim Curry as Gomez. Even though he didn't do as great as Raul did, he did the best he could do...but I didn't even see it.

They didn't do much later because of all the negative back lash that reunion one received negative reviews and now...

almost 22 years later comes:

Image result for addams family 2019 Gomez and Morticia The cartoon movie. I don't know what say. I guess yes for the nostalgia, but no for everything else. The voice acting?? You have Charlize Theron voicing Morticia. Couldn't you just get Anjelica Houston to do it? I guess of the voice acting is not great but then again...is the movie?

There you have it, from the original to today...We see how interesting and crazy the Addams family could be interesting in some way... but to me, I'll always remember the 90's version, especially Addams Family Values.

Although it has already been almost 26 years now, to me it is the best Addams Family movie I have seen. Till then, enjoy and

  HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

worst to best Halloween candy

Image result for trick or treat gif

It's almost that time of the year. When kids dress up, and get candy, but what is the best candy? I have 12 selections of candy that go from worst to the best. But what is the best candy? Well Here is my list (This is all down to what I think is the best candy to serve on Halloween and my reasoning's why)

Here is the worst candy ever served to anyone:

  Number 12:

Image result for black licorice Black licorice- the worst candy ever created. I don't even like licorice. If you like this stuff, that's fine, but for me; I would put this as the worst because of the taste. It just doesn't seem like a candy to give your children on Halloween. I feel it's more of a punishment. Rather get a caramel apple over this.

Number 11:

Image result for circus peanuts Circus Peanut- Whoever created this candy should be shot. It's a marshmallow shape to look like a circus peanut. But they dry out so quick and become hard. Who decided to hand these out as a candy. A hard marshmallow that might break your teeth? Gross!

Number 10:

Image result for smarties Smarties- Chalky, bland...what else is there to say about a candy that puts powder on your fingers? I never ate these even once. The company that made them...well they are no longer there, and they were created by another company: Nestle. Still uses the same recipe...does that really help?

Number 9:

Image result for candy corn gif

Candy Corn- Most people have mixed feelings about this. Why? Well, I don't like candy corn. Too sugary. But some people do crave it. It isn't the worst candy, but it's not the best either. I think of Candy Corn as an autumn treat. Made from September to the end of November, and put away till the next year.

Not the worst but not the best candies:

Number 8:

Image result for tootsie roll candy gif

Tootsie Roll- A candy that's well, just a candy. You can put it in a lollipop, and wonder how many licks it's gonna take until you get to the center. This candy is just a fudgy candy. Some people love them; can't get enough of them, but for me, I'd just skip it.

Number 7:

Image result for Butterfinger Butterfinger- The quote "nobody better lay a finger on my Butterfinger" is still ringing in my head. I don't really car for this candy because it's just too crispy as well as those commercials from the past that starred the Simpsons and now, an alien? Well, it's good candy for trick-or-treaters but I would just pass.

Number 6:

Image result for Pay day candy Payday- This candy bar is nothing but peanuts and caramel. I love Caramel, but this is not one of my favorites. Back in the 90's, they're commercials were kind of creepy. Don't ask, but with this candy, it can get sticky and your fingers would be covered in caramel.

Number 5:

Image result for necco wafers Necco wafers- Another candy, just like Smarties, that is nothing but chalky. However; these are a little easier to handle since you don't get the powder from the candy on your fingers. This is more like a Pez candy without the Pez dispenser.

Number 4:

Image result for snickers gif

Snickers bar- Named after a horse, this candy is very popular to many people, but for me, a candy I would not choose. It is popular around Halloween yes, the caramel, peanut, chocolate combo; but I think for this candy, it stays in the candy drawer. The plus side is the commercials we get out of them (mostly around the Super bowl) with celebrities portraying the person that is hungry.

Before we get to the top three; here are the honorable mentions that I think are good, but not worth the top three

Image result for reese's peanut butter cups * Resse's Peanut butter cup- a cup covered in chocolate with peanut butter inside. Considered one of the best candies to give out on Halloween. The commercials are ok, but for me, I'm not a fan of peanut butter and chocolate mixed together.

Image result for almond joy *Almond Joy/Mounds- People like this candy, but not many. I am one of them. Why? Coconut. I don't like coconut. But it's not the worst candy ever. I've seen worse. These candy bars remind them of tropical paradise, to me, garbage

Image result for m&ms gif
*M&M's- Love this candy, but I only will put it in the honorable mentions because it's not a candy bar. They have so many options to choose from, and well... I just like the original. Enough said, but many people do love it on Halloween, as well as those funny characters.

Image result for Baby Ruth bar * Baby Ruth bar- Either named after a baseball player or the president's daughter who died young, this candy is somewhat similar to a payday. How? Well just put nougat inside and cover it in chocolate and you got a candy bar covered in nuts.  For me, not the candy bar I would enjoy

Top three best candy for Halloween:

Number 3:

Image result for Milky way bar gif

Milky Way- A bar that was named for a milkshake. Have it covered in chocolate, with caramel and nougat and well...not bad. I would eat as many as I could, but there are two candy bars that are better than this, but it never hurts to crave for a miniature size milky way now and then.

Number 2:

Image result for twix bar Twix- A bar which was called 'radar', this is a candy with a cookie crunch. I would snack on these as much as I can. You get two candy bars in one package, and that cookie crunch is what makes this bar unique. Amazing to enjoy and snack on during your Halloween trick-or-treating fun. But what is number one?? Well...no contest.

The best candy bar ever:

Number 1:

Image result for hershey bar Hershey bar- Why not? You can't top a classic chocolate bar that you can use to melt on a smore, or just eat the way it is. For me I like the original, not the almond. There are small sizes, Kisses my god, this Hershey is number one for a reason; you can't beat a classic chocolate bar.
