New Earthquake

And I thought we only had to deal with Haiti, now this???? A new Earthquake has hit Chile and it seems that there might be a huge tsunami threats in Hawaii and maybe some parts of California as well. I don't get it. It seems mother nature has packed up a wallop of problems for us. We had to deal with a lot of snow storms this year as well as this. I just wish we could just pray that nothing horrible happens anywhere any more because it's just going to get worse and I fear, thanks to mom's words of wisdom, that we might get some hurricanes on the east and west coast this summer. I really hope not. Well, as long as there are no more disasters or earthquakes, hopefully the world will be getting a little better, but till then, pray for Haiti and Chile. Determined dream- poem

If I believe in a dream,
and to keep the dream alive in me,
what does that make me?



Someone that doesn't want the dream to die
or fade away
and what does it mean to keep one dream,
and what about all the other dreams that I have
Will it diminish the dream that I want to keep?



I believe the dream I want to keep will never die,
or fade away,

that would be one determined dream

snow storm

That Nor'easter hit us like a ton of bricks. I remember having to deal with a lot of blizzards in my time. The worst was the blizzard of 96. We had a week off of school and we were without power for a long, long, long time. This one was just as bad. Not too bad but still was about a foot or two of snow and I had to take a day off of work. Normally, I don't mind that since I have a health issue, however, it makes me feel a little guilty after telling my manager that the snow was the cause of my day off. The worst of it is now over, but I bet there might be another storm just brewing around the corner, I just know it. Till then, Ciao bloggers
