Best Fast Food Chicken Nuggets

Some people have a favorite movie, book even food. With fast food...it's all about what is the best of something. Like in burgers and fries. But some places serve chicken nuggets, or fingers or whatever. But which one is the best? I stopped eating fast food recently, but before...I had a favorite, but it wasn't the best. It's all about how many people like it and how it is prepared. Which is the best of the chicken nuggets in Fast food?

NOT THE BEST:

*

White Castle Chicken rings- Not known for their nuggets since they are more a place to pick up sliders when you have the "munchies". They don't have nuggets, but rings made of chicken meat. It's like an onion ring made of chicken meat. I just don't find this to be a chicken nugget. NOT AT ALL!

*

Sonic Jumbo Nuggets- Sonic Drive-Thru restaurants are seen in some states, but not all. Their nuggets.... are subpar at best. Mostly because they aren't anything spectacular and well...I just find these nuggets to be a little dry. It's as if you have to dip them in many of the sauces that aren't that edible either. More like a lose-lose situation.

*

Burger King Nuggets- When Burger king started bringing out chicken back in the mid 80's, they were chicken strips. A strip of chicken that was pretty good. Then, around the 2000's, the strips were gone and replaced with crown shaped chicken nuggets. They were ok, but they vanished and were replaced with regular nuggets. They were not the best

*

Dairy Queen Chicken Nuggets- Dairy Queen was mostly known for their ice creams and Blizzards, a couple of years ago, they started adding in burgers, fries and even chicken dishes like chicken nuggets. Their chicken is...hit and miss to some people, but I never had their chicken nuggets ever. I just go to Dairy Queen for the ice cream, not the sandwiches.

HIT AND MISS:

*

Popeyes Chicken nuggets- Popeyes is known for their chicken sandwich that started the fast-food chicken sandwich wars. My brother and mom tried them. What was all the hype? They weren't that great. The nuggets, I guess, are ok, but we don't eat out at Popeye's much, so I can't really say anything bad about the chicken. Not bad, but not one of the best. Too much spice

*

Arby's Chicken Nuggets: Ever heard the expression, "Feels like an Arby's night?" Well, it was an old ad back in the 90's that was made famous in Seinfeld. Never went to Arby's once. They had their usual roast beef sandwiches and burgers. The chicken...was hit or miss for some people. They recently changed the chicken, but I don't know it's any better or worse without trying them

 *

Jack In the Box Chicken nuggets- Never once went into a Jack in the box. There aren't many near here. I feel Jack in the box has too many choices. From burgers, to nuggets, to tacos. I don't understand it. But with never trying these nuggets, I have nothing to say on them. However, I've read comments online saying their nuggets aren't half bad. I guess some people like chicken from a fast-food establishment from a man with a clown head on hsi shoulders (and it isn't Ronald)

*

Checkers/Rally's chicken nuggets- I've heard of this restaurant. Called Checkers on the east coast while it's called Rally's on the west.... I think. I have enjoyed their fries that are spiced. They are good, but I never had the chicken. I guess it's the same thing as their fries, spicy and full of flavor.

WORTH A TRY:

*

Chick-Fil-A chicken nuggets: Heard good things about their chicken, sadly.... never had it. Chick-Fil-A has its ups and downs. Had backlashes with the LGTBQ+ community and other the stuff. The chicken...is pretty good. One of the best. But not knowing without tasting it, I'm in the dark. They also have a grilled chicken nugget version which some people aren't fans of. If I want to try this, I'll stick to the original fried, but then again.... cutting back on fast food.

*

McDonalds Chicken McNuggets- Grew up on these when I was young. Though....I don't think this is real chicken. Recently, a couple of years ago, McDonalds made the McNuggets white meat only signifying a healthier chicken. I was ok with it because I love the fries at McDonalds. I would them once in a while. Although...haven't had them in a while but they are one of the best foods that came out of the golden arches (only to be beaten by their fries)

*

Burger king Chicken Fries- They might be better than the nuggets, but they still are inferior to chick fil a, or even McDonalds. They started coming out with this product around 2000's when they were changing the menu. People weren't happy with the tenders gone, so to make the consumer happy, they made fries in the shape of a long chicken strip. It did fine, I had it.... it's ok, that's all I can say to a restaurant I don't eat at anymore.

*

KFC Popcorn Chicken nuggets- In a shape of popcorn kernels, KFC came out with popcorn nuggets for kids as well adults. Bite size little morsels of chicken that are poppable to toss in your mouth. I've had them before. Not one of my favorites, but it is one of the better ones of their menu items.

*

Wendy's Chicken Nuggets- Coming around the late 80's early 90's Wendy's was only known for their burgers, fries and Frosties. Now, the chicken nuggets are actually one of the better tasting ones out of all the nuggets in fast food restaurants. The reason I pick this as the best is because I've tried them before. They might look like a McNugget, but have a better taste and texture. Never hurts to try one. Dip one in a frosty, it'll taste good. I've tried it.

I guess all that matters is...which is your favorite. For me...I guess I would choose either Wendy's or McDonald's. But it's been a while since I've had either. Trying to cut back from fast food is hard, but it's worth it. Chicken nuggets will still be there, and still taste good. But now with plant-based options and people becoming vegan or vegetarian, there has been change. You decide.... which one is your favorite.
