Prayers-Poem

 

Sometimes,

we need to find hope,

we need a guiding hand,

we need to find answers

Lives lost,

young ones,

by one other,

many souls lost,

and many hearts broken

We start to pray,

for them,

as we wonder why,

again,

another fatality happens,

we wonder,

when will the violence end?

Our thoughts and prayers,

are not enough,

but what will help,

is finding out,

the answers,

to many questions,

on why,

this happened

we pray,

for the families,

the victims,

everyone,

we pray,

for them,

to survive,

one day at a time

Is it good

to pray,

is it good,

for us,

to wonder,

do they get answered

we fold our hands,

and bow our heads down,

as we wonder,

if someone is listening to us

tragedy has happened,

almost everywhere,

and we need to not only pray,

but take action,

find the answers,

and hope,

someone is listening

one tragedy,

after another,

as we fight,

and pray,

and hope,

for a better tomorrow

Whatever happens,

pray,

pray for a better tomorrow,

pray,

for many to survive,

pray 

for happiness,

and no more sorrow,

so we can pray,

for a better tomorrow,

Never,

stop,

praying,

because,

one day,

our prayers will be answered
