Clifford becomes a movie

If you don't remember a big red dog in you past, then you might never have read the book Clifford the big red dog. A story book created by Norman Bridwell.

What is it about" And why is it becoming a movie? Well, here's how it all started.

The first book came out around the sixties that starred a young girl who wanted an unusual dog. She found a big red one, and well history was made. There were a few book series about the girl named Emily Elizabeth and her big red dog that is named Clifford.

Around 2000 to 2003, there was a cartoon that was about the big red dog. He was voiced by the late John Ritter, and the show was a big hit for Children. But sadly, the show ended when John Ritter died. Did I see this show? No, but I have heard about it. It seemed like a good show for kids. It taught some valuable on how to share and how to be true to who you are and all that stuff.

They even had Clifford in his puppy days which came in books and a short lived cartoon series. Clifford could fit in the palm of your hand when he was a puppy. Wow. This dog was so adorable, nobody knew how big he was going to get.

Sadly, this was the last time John Ritter would voice the big red dog named Clifford. This movie, which is titiled Clifford's really big movie, which seems to be in CGI, was dedicated in his memory. This movie is about Clifford joining the circus. There are some new characters that befriend Clifford, and I'm guessing a mean circus owner wants Clifford to be in his show. I'm not sure. I never saw this movie.

But the movie I wanna talk about...well, get ready for this...

Live action and CGI make Clifford look atrocious. Hidious. It's just. Why does every cartoon or cartoon movie have to become live action and CGI. What's next, a Curious George movie in live action? I hope not. Not many details are in this one but, the dog speaks volume on this one. I don't know how I feel. I don't know if I'm ever gonna see it, but one things is for sure....this dog will give children nightmares.

I'll try to remember Clifford as I did through the books and the John Ritter cartoon. This live action might be good for some kids, but for me, the kid at heart, he was a cartoon always. I never was big on the books or the show, but I'll always remember...the big red dog.

What the future will be- Poem

What will the summer be like,

what will our future take us,

what will happen,

when this disease is gone,

The Pandemic is still here,

But I doubt it'll be staying long,

I have very little doubt,

we will have to deal with another one

But then again,

everyone is trying to get better

We stayed home for as long as we could,

but we can't stay home for long,

we have lives to live,

jobs to work at,

families to look after,

friends to see

We try to think about the future,

what it'll be like,

when COVID is over,

will things go back to normal,

or will it be longer,

to change,

what took away,

a year,

and lives,

We should remember,

the pandemic is almost over,

not yet done,

we need to stay safe,

but not live in fear,

That day will come,

when we are free of this nightmare,

and we will be able to live once again,

like before,

before all our lives changed,

Things will get better,

stores will reopen,

our lives will go back,

it just takes time,

patience,

and much more,

With Spring now here,

things will seem,

to get better,

and our lives,

we,

will feel better,

the future still has hope for us,

and we will be there,

when the pandemic,

is gone

Actors that declined roles

Not many people knew that Dave Chapelle was offered the role of Bubba, but he turned it down, and regretted it ever since. He isn't the only actor to decline a role because they thought the movie won't work, or they were busy with another project. Here are some of the few actors, that could have been in the movie

Speaking of Forrest Gump, before Tom Hanks came around, they wanted John Travolta to play the mentally imbalanced Forrest Gump. One of the producers thought he wasn't right for the role. He was denied the role and Tom Hanks was immediately chosen. Good Choice

Leo DeCaprio, a huge star in cinema, was almost chosen to be in Brokeback Mountain. However, he had no desire in the movie. Almost no one wanted the role, until the late Heath Ledger said that he would do it, since he needed work. I wonder what it would it would of been like if Leo was making out with Jake Gyllenhaal

.

When the Matrix was coming out, they wanted Will Smith to play the lead Neo in it. However, he was too busy making the flop movie Wild West, he couldn't do it. Giving the job to Keanu Reeves instead. The movie was a huge hit, and Wild West wasn't. But don't worry, Will Smith's doing ok for now.

Christina Applegate was offered the role of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde. But she felt the character was too similar to the one she played on Married....with children, so she turned it down. She never regrets it since the movie was pretty big hit, until the sequel came out.

Emma Stone was going to play one of the characters in the female Ghostbusters movie. However, she declined the role for scheduling difficulties. I guess, I'm not sure what the real reason was, but she did walk out on a movie that would bomb. Good Choice, Emma.

Before the movie Batman it theaters, there was going to be another Joker. Jon Lithgow was given the offer to portray the masked psycho known as Joker, but he couldn't for scheduling issues. Jack Nicolson got the role, but I wonder what it would have been like if Lithgow said yes.

Sean Connery was offered the role of Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. However, there were two reasons he declined. One was the script was confusing and he didn't understand it. Another was that he was busy with another movie that would flop, and become his final one before retirement.

Tom Cruise would have been Edward Scissorhands if he had said yes. Instead of Johnny Depp, they wanted Cruise, but he had scheduling difficulties and couldn't take the offer. I guess, in his favor, he was happy not to say yes. The movie was still good, but not to Tom Cruise. What a baby.

Another good choice would have been keeping Matt Damon to play Harvey Dent/two face. But he had scheduling problems that was keeping him from portraying the role. They gave the role to Aaron Eckhart. He did a good job. Even Matt praised his excellence saying that having Aaron on didn't hurt the movie.

The director from "Silence of the Lambs" did not want Jodie Foster in the lead role of the movie. But he had no choice when Michelle Pfeiffer had to back out of the role. She didn't want to be in another violent role since being in Batman Return. Jodie Foster got the lead, and won herself an Oscar.

A lot of actors tried out for Jack and Rose in the massive hit Titanic. Gwyneth Paltrow was one of them. The reason she said no, she never made a reason. She explained that it didn't feel ladylike to turn down any role offered to her. But it seems Kate Winslet won the role.

When they were picking a new Bond to replace Pierce Brosnan, they thought of Hugh Jackman. He would have been a good choice, but he had to decline the role. Why? Hugh thought he wasn't the right choice to play James Bond and couldn't get in touch with anyone else. So, he declined the role for his own choices.

Harrison Ford was offered the lead role in Jurassic Park, but turned the role down. Why? There wasn't a true answer. Maybe he didn't like the script, or didn't care to work with the director, or thought the movie would flop (which didn't). The role went to somebody else. His name was Sam Neill

Johnny Depp would have been Ferris Buler in Ferris Buler's day off. He didn't want the role, why? No one knows. It could be scheduling difficulties with the movie interfering with the show 21 Jump Street, or he didn't get along with the other actors. No one knows the real reason why Johnny said no.

One more actor I want to talk about. Sarah Jessica Parker would have portrayed the daughter in the movie Beetlejuice. But it seemed, before she could say yes, Winona Ryder got the role. Maybe she did try out, but from the look of it, it seemed they already picked Winona Ryder before Sarah Jessica Parker could try out for the role.

No matter why they said no, you never knew these many actors durned down roles. Even Robin Williams was offered the role of Jack in the Shining. No joke. But you never know when a movie would turn out horrible, or when the an actor made a horrid decision.

The most disgusting foods ever

Ever ate something that made your stomach turn? Ever felt disgusted by seeing your food swirm or even move? Ever had chicken from a can? Well, these foods will make you throw up. Your head spin, and give you questions like...why would they make this?

(this blog is good for people with an iron stomach. You have been warned)

Ever heard of a cheese with maggots crawling in it?  The cheese is called Casa Maruzu. A cheese commonly banned in America. This cheese doesn't only have maggots, but mold as well. It also has health concerns for people that want to try this cheese. I don't even know why they even made it. For me, I would not. It has maggots crawling in it.

Everyone loves bacon, but squeezable bacon? A bacon that comes in a tube similar to squeezable ketchup. Squeezing bacon out of a tube, sounds kind of disgusting. I mean, everyone does love bacon...but who would love bacon that much that they would buy a squeeze tube? I would not buy it, even if I had a craving for bacon.

This one is real. Pork Brains; it contains a lot of sodium for a daily intake. Who would eat this? Cannibals'? I guess this creation was made for people that love to eat pigs. It's kept in milk gravy and not for the lactose intolerant. I would skip this one for sure. I can't have a lot of salt in my diet

Bread in a can. That is a real product by B&M. They also are known for making beans, but with this product, you get a whole can of bread. Is it edible? Some people do like it. Who? I don't know. But there have been foods in a can. This bread though, it might not be the most disgusting food that came out of a can, but it still doesn't look edible to me.

Frog legs, a delicacy for some, but for others...gross. I don't eat much meat. I've heard of chicken wings and ribs of an animal, but frogs legs? I feel bad for Kermit the frog already. I guess this food is considered a finger food back in France where it was known. They are even known in Chinese Cuisines as well.

Ever drank a Scorpion before? Or even a snake? You can even purchase these drinks on Amazon if you are so bold to try one. Finding an actual snake or scorpion to put in a bottle, that's effort and courage. Not to get stung or killed as well. Not knowing much about this, these are some drinks that only daring people would try. Not me.

We've all had soup before. It's soothing to the soul, and heartwarming on a cold day. Ever heard of bird's nest soup?  It's a Chinese soup called Edible bird's nest soup. They would use dried nest to create the soup from an Edible nest swiftlet only known in the South East Asia. This soup is only known in most parts of Asia and China. This soup isn't known much in America. But would I wanna eat a bird nest that has been dried up?

Rocky Mountain Oysters. Not the oysters from the sea, but they are from a testicle of a bull. Some people can enjoy these, while others turn away. These oysters are mostly known in Canada where Cattle ranching is mostly known. People back there would eat these up like popcorn chicken. For me, I don't eat testicles.

We did bread in a can, now we go to Cheeseburger in a can. Slimy and disgusting, Creating by a company called 'Trek and Eat' they created a high quality, freeze drying specialty foods. I wouldn't eat this even if I was paid. (I'd take the money and run) Contains a lot of sodium in one can. And here's another thing, do you have to eat this straight out of the can, or do you?

The last disgusting food I wanna talk about is fugu fish. A fish made from a poisonous blowfish. If cut wrong, instant death. Created in Japan, it is a rare delicacy and not created much. In feat of having people die over this dish, of consumed, some restaurants would have to make the customer sign a waver. It's as if they are signing away their life.

A lot of foods are considered gross and not edible. But for the people that dare try it, they are one in a million. For me, all of these foods would make my stomach queasy. Did you survive reading this without throwing up? If so, enjoy the history behind the disgusting

Cobra Kai-Season three, what has happened???

If you remember a movie called the Karate kid, then you would know about this. The story of what happens after the movie ends. They had a few sequels, but they weren't as great as the original. Where a young kid moves to California, gets picked on, and does Karate

Starring actors such as Ralph Machio as Daniel and William Zabka as Johnny. Johnny picks on Ralph's character for flirting with his ex-girlfriend (played by Elisabeth Shue) He beats Daniel up with his friends and much more. Daniel has the late Pat Morita helping him with his karate while Johnny that has a teacher is a bit too much. Threating as well as demanding. We know how it ends with Daniel winning. But what happened after that? That's where the show Cobra Kai comes in.

William Zakba portrays a down out of his luck Johnny. Drunk, and still has the haunted memories of Daniel beating him.

Ralph Machio's Danny owns a car dealership that is the best in the world. Has a wonderful family that includes a daughter named Sam that knows Karate. After finding out how successful he is, Johnny decides to bring back Cobra Kai.

With the first season, Johnny's a drunk nobody who doesn't realize he has a son. Losing contact with his ex and all. He tries going out with others. After realizing he is living in the past. He meets a young man named Miguel who takes a shine to him, while others mock him for being a loser. He decides to open up Cobra Kai once more. Changing everyone, even having his son join Ralph when he decides to fight back. They do a Karate kid theme movie moment, although the tables turn and Cobra Kai wins. At the end of the first season, an old enemy returns to Cobra Kai

In the second season, it gets scarier. More kids start joining Cobra Kai. Even one of the nerds starts to change his image and become tougher, changing his name to 'Hawk' They steal Pat Morita's medals from Daniel's do jo a well as destroying the place. Johnny's son is torn between joining Daniel's team and being a felon. He starts to fall in love with Daniel's daughter, Sam. She used to date Miguel. Now he's dating a bitch that has joined Cobra Kai and wants Sam dead. Near the end...they have a huge fight at school causing a massive fight between Daniel's karate team and Cobra Kai. Miguel gets injured by Johnny and Johnny runs away before being found. That's where I stopped.

I haven't seen the third season yet, but I will soon, maybe not till April. So far, Johnny has tried to set things right, but it seems his old teacher wants to keep Cobra Kai the way it was. He lost one of his old friends, lost his chance to ever date or see Miguel's single mother again after Miguel's accident, and now...his old flame might come back in the third season.

We'll see if Johnny can connect to his old girlfriend, who is now married, and be friends with her again Sometimes, I don't know who to root for. Sometimes, I feel sorry for Johnny, sometimes, I feel sorry for Daniel. Both are good actors bringing back a classic from 37 years ago. And now, this show is doing pretty well. Gaining two more seasons now. I guess we'll see what happens next on Cobra Kai.
