Night at the museum (one and two)

There are some movies that have sequels that can either make or break the movie. With this one, it had two. One I saw and one I couldn't see....but first let's talk about the first Night at the Museum movie.

It came out in early 2006 starring Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Rami Malik, Robin Williams and few hidden gems named Dick Van Dyke, Bill Cobbs and Micky Rooney. They portray the old night watchmen in a museum.

The first night Ben Stiller's character, Larry Daily stays, it seems the museum starts coming to life. Making the exhibits and statues move. The late Robin Williams portrayed the statue of Theodore Roosevelt. When he explains everything to the elder watchmen, they don't believe him. He later is framed and it seems the three elders knew all along as they steal the golden tablet

It seems out of all the three elders, Dick Van Dyke is the most evil of them all. Trapping Larry Daily and his son (that he has custody to once in a while). He gets most of the statues and exhibits from the museum to help stop and find the golden statue. Rami Malik portrays Ahkmenrah in the movie and it seems it's his tablet.

In 2009, they made a sequel which involved Ben Stiller going to the Smithsonian. They also have new actors like: Hank Azaria, Amy Adams, Christopher Guest, Bill Hader and a few more. Hank Azaria portrays the villain who is known as Kahmuhran, the older brother of Rami Malik's character.

His character is the polar opposite of Rami's character. He wants the golden tablet to cause mayhem and destroy the world (or conquer it, I don't know) He gets help from some of the men that were in the Smithsonian like: Napoleon, Al Capone and Ivan the Terrible

Amy Adams portrays Amelia Earhart. I've read Amy did not enjoy wearing the tight pants that was required for the costume. Amelia helps Ben's character out to not only save the exhibits that are trapped, but also to get Kahmuhran not to get the golden tablet. When they have the tablet, everywhere they went things would come to life from statues to even paintings.

Even a statue of Lincoln (voiced by Hank Azaria) comes to life. Giving advice for Ben's character as well as saving the museum. I guess at the end, they all are saved, and Larry brings the original exhibits to the New York museum.

At the end, Larry comes back to the museum, and it opens at night, although the kids aren't impressed.

I couldn't get into the last one. Has nothing to do with the movie, it's just I don't think they needed to make a third.

It feels like it was the same recycled plot as the first. And sadly, this came out right around the time Robin Williams died. This was his last movie, and I guess that was another reason why I couldn't see it. It just would hurt. This movie was dedicated to him as well as Micky Rooney, who I guess had a small role, I don't know.

They have new actors portraying new characters like Sir Lance a Lot and Atilla the Hun. I don't know. Rebel Wilson portrays a night guard in a British Museum. I don't remember it much. I don't have much to say on this one.

I guess out of al the NATM movies I saw, I think I liked the original the best. I guess the Smithsonian was good too. I don't know which was my true favorite (not the third though). But we will never forget Robin Williams and that his the truth.

We will never forget you.

You will always be a great actor,

and it seems not bad at portraying at portraying presidents.

We still miss you, Robin

Haunted Dolls

Do you ever feel like your bedroom might be haunted? As if, your dolls are looking at you in the night? I don't have a fear of dolls, but from the look of their eyes, I feel they're trying to steal our soul.

Remember that Annabelle doll, the one that is in movies and scared people? She can't be the only haunted doll that is lurking around and haunting your nightmares. The movies weren't that great anyway, but the doll is locked away somewhere, and is still giving you nightmares.

Another Haunted Doll is named Robert. Located in a museum in Key West, Robert the Doll is considered a haunted one as well. This doll will actually come to life. Not many people have seen it happen, but with video cameras, they notice movement on the doll. Was built around the 1890's and it is still in its display case. But does it still move at night?

Some dolls can be scary. They can move their heads on their own without you knowing it. Why do they scare us? And do people fear it?

Sometimes I fear Porcelain dolls. They kind of creep me out. Their eyes moving, and if you put it on a shelf, will it stay there at night? I don't have a massive fear of them like I do with heights and needles. But Channing Tatum....

On an episode of Ellen, Channing Tatum admitted his fear of Porcelain dolls, and I don't blame him. So, Ellen decided to show him one. He started freaking out, and some people laughed. I guess I would do the same thing, but not too much. It's just in the eyes, that's all.

I fear more the dolls with the wide eyes that never close, and just stare at you, as if they want your soul as you sleep. Those dolls creep me out.

Even that Chucky Doll scare some people. Mostly with the voice and its tempt to kill. Being pocesed by a murderer's spirit. I guess the first movie was creepy, but the sequels...not much. They recently made a new one, but it wasn't great.

I used to have a doll. One of those American Girl doll's named Molly. I cut her hair, removed the glasses. I did some interesting things with that doll yes, but I did worse with my Barbie dolls. But I never found those dolls to be haunted. But now, being older, maybe I did.

Are you afraid of dolls? I guess, after reading this, you might be. Just keep your eyes closed when you sleep next to your doll or stuffed bear, and hope you live to see the morning. And if you dream, don't let the dolls haunt your sleep. Especially the dolls that never close their eyes.

Are Ventriloquist Dummies frightening?

The rolling, glaring eyes that stare at you. You have to shove your hand up its back. Those staring eyes that you feel are moving when you walk. Are they really alive when you don't use them?

   What scares me about them....

I don't have a fear of them, but I sometimes wonder....
do they have a soul?

I feel they do at times, but I can tell...they only are scary in your own dreams.

Other times, you see them in America's Got Talent

People performing in the show with their own dolls. Sometimes they fail...

Others succeed.

One being a young girl who is now about fourteen years old, and trying out for a singing career. Her name is...

Darci Lynne. When she started on the show, she was not well that talented, but when she started to perform, everyone saw how talented she was. She won, and now she's trying out for a singing career.

But the first to win was Terry Fator, and I liked him from the start. There is now a Terry Fator theater in Vegas where he usually performs.

But really, think about it. You have the movie saw where there was a frightening dummy staring at you as you free yourself from his torture chamber.

Never saw most of the movies, but in the first one...the ending wasn't much of a surprise to me.

There is one frightening doll that is based on a true story. It's name was Mr. Fritz. This happened around the late 1940's. Nobody knew it was haunted, or that it was starting to curse everyone that owned it. Eventually, stories would be told about the dummy escaping its suit case at night, and people having to tape the suit case

Now its head is locked away in a case in chains. I don't have much info on why this happened. Maybe because people were afraid of a doll that would kill at night. I don't blame 'em.

But then again, are all Ventriloquist born with a soul. Is it once you stick your hand up their back, are the puppet master, or it's own puppet? I feel that sometimes you have to be aware of the possibility that...

We will become the puppets, and they will be our master.

  Be aware, be very aware.

Halloween 2020

Five Things That 'Halloween 2020' Needs To Be Great | by Mike Holtz | Medium We are still in the pandemic stage, and with autumn just a few weeks away, people wonder if there will be any holiday celebration this year.

No Halloween Trick-Or-Treating In LA County This YearThe fear of the pandemic is getting people to wonder if it is safe to celebrate any holiday this year. The first one many celebrate is Halloween. People would decorate their house to make it spooky, and hand treats out to kids. Some states feel it is best not to do that this year.

Family Time Reaction GIF by Lifetime - Find & Share on GIPHYAnd some kids....are not pleased. Yeah, you can hand candy that could be poisonous to little ones. Even if you wear gloves, will it help? No. I mean kids love candy, but they love it more on certain holidays, especially Halloween, where your candy wrapper can glow in the dark.
