Some movies might be forgettable for a reason. They might suck, or people like it, but others don't even remember the plot. Here are some movies that I think are forgettable because maybe they didn't get enough peole to see it, or it was just bad.
Before Chris Evans was the Captain America we know today, there was another. In 1990, they made a pretty pathetic attempt on making a low budget, forgettable Captain America movie. Nobody even remembers Matt Salinger as Captain America as they would Chris Evans. It's forgettable because it's not worth seeing. Just stick to the Chris Evans version
Theodore Rex is another movie NO ONE remembers. When the show Dinosaurs was popular, the people decided to make a film using one of them. I don't know. Whoopi Goldberg is in it. This movie almost destroyed her carrer, but at least she bounced back. A buddy cop movie that involved her and an animatronic Chuck E Cheese dinosaur. It was stupid, not worth it, and believe me...we now know why it's forgotten.
This one wasn't bad, but it was forgettable. Not many people saw it after it opened. It had a great voice cast, as well as an ok story. Why is it not mentioned much? Well, I guess it's one of the stories you think would be good, but deep down, could be rehashed from another movie that could be better. With this one, I guess, it's hard to explain, but I'd watch it.
This movie would give you nightmares. Kangaroo Jack is a forgettable for one reason, it's scary. The CGI in this movie gives anyone nightmares. A story about two men chasing after a kangaroo that has jewelry. I didn't understand it one bit. I'm glad one of the actors (Anthony Anderson) is doing ok with his career. They even made a sequel called G'Day USA. Which is a cartoon that is also forgettable. Just skip both.
What do you get when you put Ben Stiller with Jennifer Aniston together, and his character is a germaphobe? Along came Polly. Involving Ben Stiller who's ex falls in love with a scuba instructor (picture up top) starts to date Jennifer's character, and with his character being a germaphobe, it wouldn't work out, but he falls in love. I thought this movie was kinda gross. To me, it is considered Forgettable. Ben can do be better movies
The Pest is considered the low point of Jon Legoizamo's career. About this guy who does impressions or something. Gets mistaken for someone who is about to be whacked. On paper, it sounds interesting, but in movie form, it's garbage. The impressions he does, and how they got away with it, god it was just bad. Thank god Jon is actually doing something better with his acting career, I think.
Howard the duck. One of George Lucas' mistake of a movie next to the Star Wars Christmas special. A story that is really involved from a comic. The movie version....Jesus. Really bad and forgettable. The actor they got to play Howard (well three small actors) they try their best, but fail. The story is about him leaving his planet and going to Cleveland, Ohio. Falling in love with Lea Thompson's character and well....this movie's just stupid. Don't see it.
One more movie I wanna talk about that I know is forgettable to everyone. It's...
Ang Lee's The Hulk. When everyone found out about this movie coming out, they were happy, ecstatic, but then.... just forgot about it. This movie was a bomb from the start. The acting was not great, the story was forgettable, they even made other Hulk movies and well....the did a bit better. So, what happened to this one? I guess with the way it was written, who started in it and other things, I guess it just went the wrong direction.
Not every movie's forgettable, just lost in the dust of memories clouded by better movies. We must not forget the forgettable movies, even if they make us laugh or cringe. There are other forgettable movies like: Daredevil, Ghost rider: spirit of vengeance, 1979 Captain America (another version) and many more.
