They aren't babies anymore

Image result for baby actors     Remember them staring as babies, such as the Olsen Twins as Michelle in Full House? Well, they aren't babies anymore.

Even movies of the mid to late 90s such as: Addams family Values, Baby's day out, even tv shows that showed cute adorable babies in small roles that make them cute and adorable on camera, but then, we never see them in an acting role again.
Where did they go? Did they never want to be in a part of fame? Well I think we can tell....
They aren't babies anymore.

In the case of Babies day out: twin actors Adam and Jacob Worton portrayed the baby that is stolen by three insane criminals. They never acted again after that role. Here's how they look today:
Image result for baby's day out baby now  Both of them left acting to peruse different carriers in their life. Adam and Jacob have different lives. Jacob has been more successful by portraying a music career as he is known to play a saxophone. Meanwhile, not much is known about his brother, only that he lives in Ontario and that is all we know.

Baby Geniuses, although a crappy movie, had used baby technology using their mouths to move by computers, do you know what happened to them?

Miles, Leo and Gerry (shown up here), played the triples in that movie, and although they stopped acting after that train wreck, they have done great things with their lives, not acting for one. They knew that they wanted a normal life.

Addams family value had a baby boy portrayed by twin girls Kristen and Katlyn. They now have softball careers, trading in glam and glory for sports:
Famous Movie Babies: Where Are They Now? 6They are now in their twenties and their lives revolve around anything but movie stardom.

For the little baby in the Labyrinth movie, his name is Toby Froud. Ever since the movie ended, so did his movie career. He didn't want to back to the big screen ever again, or watch the Muppets, having visions of them in his nightmares. But he has worked behind the camera in works such as Chronicles of Narnia, with special effects that he had learned in college.
Famous Movie Babies: Where Are They Now?Even though he doesn't like talking about his days as a baby in a maze, he still brags to people that he was once a child star.

There are others that I have talked about before, such as Sofia Coppola as the baby in the baptism scene in the Godfather. She is related to Frances Ford Coppola. She didn't act much but she was always known for that scene.

We will always remember them as babies, although now, they have their own lives that doesn't include staring in movies. They usually behind the camera or even in another country. We'll always think of them as that kid who made the movie enjoyable.

How Houdini died

Image result for houdini We all know about Houdini and his tricks. His disappearing acts and even his magical performances that he does to Ooo and awe crowds.
He would tie himself up in chains, and try to break free before drowning in a tank of water.

He would strengthen his stomach and ask fans to punch him.
He would also do disappearing tricks and end up in a trunk wrapped in chains. He would even handcuff himself and try to break free. Everyone loved him.

At the age of 52, he would ask a young kid to punch him in the stomach and apparently, without strengthening his stomach muscles, he ended up rupturing his appendix and died months later.

There are stories surrounding this theory on "Houdini dies from a punch to the gut", then again, it could have been anything else. Appendicitis that was not discovered until too late, or a young kid who really did kill Harry Houdini.

Before his death, he started in voice recordings, aviation and movie rolls. Such as: The master Mystery.

There are movies portraying him, from Adrian Brody in a small tv miniseries, to Tony Curtis in the 1953 movie.

There even was a short lived tv show called Harry and Doyle. Doyle was one of Harry Houdini's helpers. But this TV show wasn't worth the 10 episodes it had.
Image result for houdini gif It might not be a huge mystery about Houdini's death, but some people still believe it was appendicitis while others think otherwise.

Even though he's gone, his tricks still live on, from the famous handcuffs to the Chinese Waterscape torture.

Even a milk can escape trick that was mimicked on an episode of the Simpsons where Lisa learns how it is really done while learning magic from an old magician voiced by the late Martin Landau.

Houdini's brother, Theodore, did most of the milk can escape trick.

Even though he died at the age of 52, his illusions and tricks will live on in his memories, even if it's portrayed by movie or tv show. His family, including his great grand nephew, George Hardeen who never found out about Harry Houdini until he was a teenager.

Adventures of Neal & Del

Image result for Neal and Del For the holidays, you always pop in a movie to make you feel warm and cozy. But in this one, you just want to know if they would ever be friends.

Steve Martin, portraying Neal and the late John Candy, portraying Del, are set off on an unlikely adventure when the two meet as Neal is trying to get home. They try the plane, but it seems with the bad weather, it isn't happening.

Steve Martin is hilarious, no doubt about that. In this movie, he's going through every length to get home for Thanksgiving dinner as he is stuck in NYC because of his job and a blizzard. He loses his cab (not by a Kevin Bacon cameo) but John Candy's character, Del. He's heartwarming, sweet and sells shower curtain rings.
Image result for Neal and DelThey both travel together by a plane a train and an automobile.
When they are stuck in Chicago, Del suggests to Neil that they would have to go by a train, but the train is derailed and they are stuck in Jefferson City. Spending the night arguing in a dirty motel room, and eventually...
one of the funniest scenes in my opinion, is when Neal was trying to get his car but it wasn't at the spot and out comes "f bombs" more than once. It is the only time this movie uses that word. But more than once.
The woman's response as she tries to help Neil is: "You're f--ked"

They even slept with each other, have a fight and eventually...

When they get to Chicago they part ways but, we learn the sad truth that Del's wife, which he carried a picture of her around, had been dead and he had spending nights in bus stations or plane terminals. Emotional as their journey had been, Neal invites him to his house for Thanksgiving, therefore making a new friend as well.

This movie, written and directed by John Hughes, is one that sticks into my memory now, as it did back in the 1980's. I miss John Candy and John Hughes but their works will always be remembered for what they are.

John Candy being funny, and heartfelt at the same time. Steve Martin stated that this was one of his favorite movies and still is to this date.
Image result for planes trains and automobiles gifIt seemed that this movie (along with Uncle Buck and Home Alone) made many John Candy memories. And at the end, it seems Neal and Del had a friendship that made many miles, and at the end, it seems Neal came home to much more than a Thanksgiving Dinner, but a new friend as well.

This movie is great for so many reasons, a friends journey, moments that are heartfelt as well as memorable. Till then, enjoy this movie and John Candy's everlasting performance. Steve Martin would not miss it for the world, and neither would we.

Star Wars: Last Jedi- How I felt

Image result for last jedi movie gif

I bet by now, almost everyone, has seen the recent Star Wars movie. They might have their own opinions about it. Some could be good while others not so good, here are mine.

Image result for star wars last jedi movie clips I felt this movie, while amazing, it felt the same as the second Star Wars movie, "The Empire Strikes Back" Happy that Mark Hamill came back and all, but seemed as if he was the new Obi-wan Kanobi. But there were some moments that I did like, but here are the ones that were (I'm gonna say) hit and miss.

Rein finds Luke Skywalker and he tells the story about him training Kilo Ren, however he thinks Ray will turn to the dark side and he almost kills Kilo Ren because of it. Kilo Ren, however, is the new villain, but he keeps channeling with Rein as she's with Luke. I don't know how I felt about that, but it was ok.

Image result for last jedi movie clips    I don't know if they fall in love but, Finn meets up with some one who's sister was just killed in battle and they have their own adventure to find someone who can disable a tracking device.

They find someone (portrayed by Benicio Del Toro) who ends up turning the tables because he was a villain all along.
Image result for benicio del toro star wars While that happens Rey doesn't know if she could trust Luke because of her connection was getting stronger with Kilo Ron.

I don't know if that was a hit or miss, but what I loved  about this movie was seeing classic characters retiring and there were some new ones such as...
Image result for laura dern star wars     Laura Dern as she portrayed the new officer of the resistance.
Yoda came back for a brief cameo to tell Luke about what he should do with Rein,
Poe, portrayed by Oscar Isaac, tries helping Finn and his friend find the person that could disable the tracking device.

Like I said, this movie had many hits and a few misses. Did it copy the empire strikes back? Maybe, maybe not. But I'm going to say no. Because it had its own unique style and it seemed that it showed newer characters that too had the force.

Mark Hamill is seen in the last scene, stopping Kilo Ren and well... I'm not gonna give a lot away.
Sadly it was Carrie Fisher's final movie. They did dedicate it to her. We all miss Princess Lea. She did a great job, however there was one scene that made me question if that's how they're going to Kill Princess Lea.

It was a good movie, I don't know what's going to happen for the future of Star Wars, without Carrie Fisher of course. No one can replace princess lea.

Till then, enjoy Star Wars. If you like it or not.
