It's been a while since I have left Delaware County Community College. I've been thinking about going back and well...
I was thinking of maybe going back, but the cost is cause a speed bump on that idea.
Lately it seems a lot of people that are going to college, or trying to get back to college, well it seems to be harder for them now.
It's been a long time since I went to college. I guess I wasn't mature enough and I guess my ADHD got in the way of learning, plus picking out curriculums that were not suited for me as well didn't help. Then I kept thinking. Is college really for everyone?
I don't know. I would love to go back and learn something new. I did take a night course for poetry at my middle school for a while and I loved it. I learned and gained a new respect for poetry. I don't know if they have a course of poetry but doing one or two courses might not hurt my chances on gaining an education and learning something new.
I would like to try something interesting. Like I did with poetry. If there was a poetry course in college, I would take it in a heartbeat. But the tuition is a lot, and so are the textbooks.
Learning something new takes a lot of skill and talent and work. And having the money for it can make you bleed badly in your pocketbooks.
I have also learned that some celebrities like Robert DeNiro, Anne Hathaway and even Julie Andrews never went or even finished College. Matt Damon went to a university but never got his degree. But his movie that he wrote, Good Will Hunting, well let's just say the University was amazed and he got his Degree soon after.
Some people never even finished high school and I am blessed that I have. I feel like high school might be harder than college academically (depending).
When I'm ready, I will be. Even if it will be for a creative writing course in poetry or accounting. One or the other, I will go back. I'm not upset or anything but something good will come along for all of us and deep down, I'll go back again, and if not. I'll learn on my own, in my own way. Till then College isn't for everyone, but it can be for some and for those who make it through, congratulations. Ciao Bloggers!

Goodbye Bowie Goodbye Rickman
Finding out many celebrities have died recently.
This year has become dark. Really dark.
It started with Pat Harrington Jr. (But he died of Alzheimer's) then all of a sudden I hear Michael Galeota form Disney died at 31, then the actor David Margulies dies (he was in ghostbusters) now BOWIE...
This is so not right.
Bowie was amazing back in the 70's 80's and 90's. He was the Goblin King in Labyrinth. He was considered so many different personas such as Ziggy Stardust, The Space Odyssey era where he wrote amazing songs such as "Life on Mars" "Where are we Now" "Space Odyssey"
His Ziggy Stardust era had him wearing makeup and he was just crazy singing an amazement of hits such as: "All the Young Dudes" and "Starman"
To me, he was a very talented actor as well. Portraying the villainous goblin king and kidnapping a little baby so Jennifer Connolly can save him before it was too late. The dance moves and the songs from the movie were amazing.
He also did a music video with Mick Jagger, "Dancing in the Street" where they danced so insanely.
When the 90's came around he was rarely seen in movies but his presences was known in the music he played: The Electronic Period he would call it. Some hits came out around that era such as: "Everyone says HI", "Perfect day" and "Jump the sky"
He also made guest appearances in Zoolander, did a voice over for a SpongeBob Squaerpants episode and also did a guest performance with Simon and Garfunkel during 9/11 attacks to benefit those lost in the tragic events.
Before he died, not only did he turn 69, he released his final album called Blackstar. He will be missed and he is not the only one who died at 69 this week...
Alan Rickman, the talented genius who made Professor Snape come to life also lost his battle with cancer as well.
This week is not turning well. He was one of the great actors that I loved in film. I loved his performance in Love Actually, all the Harry Potter movies, Die Hard Galaxy Quest and a lot more. I will miss him as well as Bowie. We will miss them all. God rest their souls, and I want to send my condolences to Celine Dion and her family. She just lost both her husband and her brother.
We will miss them all more for what they have done not how they have died. We miss them the most from their accomplishments. Goodbye Alan and David and all of you that have died too soon on this year. Ciao Bloggers and good us bless.

is buying popcorn in a bag healthier???
Back in the day, popcorn was hard to come by. Before enjoying it in theaters, we enjoyed popping an ear of popcorn kernel over a fire pit and enjoyed seeing the kernels pop into the dirt. Then came a handy tool to use at home, putting kernels in a handle and watching popped kernels at the fireplace pop.
It was dangerous of course. Soon popcorn venders came out onto the streets and sold popcorn out on the streets that they made at home. It arrived cold, but soon a machine was built to make kernels of popcorn hot as when they arrived to the customer.
They were never allowed in a movie theater fearing it would make a mess, but when the great depression hit in 1929, movie theaters were so desperate they sold popcorn to movie goers and it worked.
They would add extra salt so people would buy soda.
Now people would be able to pop popcorn at homes thanks to the microwave. People would enjoy eating popcorn at home rather than going to theaters and having it there, but now there is something new that might take place of the microwave.
Since the mid 90's popcorn has been coming popped in bags. Companies such as Herr's and Utz and even Wise, mostly chip companies started creating their own popped popcorn in a bag.
Now there are companies that are only there for making just popcorn in bags like Skinny Pop, Boom Chicka Pop Popcorn and Popcorn Indiana. Smartfoods was one of the first to start marketing popcorn in a bag, and now they have added flavors like cheddar, spice and low salt.
It got me thinking, is this the healthy way to snack. Pop Secret (which made microwave popcorn) has started putting their popped kernels in bags as well as Orville Redenbacher flavoring it as well.
Marketing it everyone.
Popcorn use to be unheard of, and now, having it been known everywhere.
Is it healthy? A lot healthier than potato chips, but already popped and sealed in a bag? I don't know if it's healthier I think it might be lazier. I always love to hear the kernels popping in the microwave, so I really don't care to eat them out of a bag. It smells bad, and I just think the old way is better, plus I'm not a big fan of all the ingredients that are in it like extra butter. I love it plain and salty. I'm a purist when it comes to popcorn and if there is butter in it, I won't eat it.
Popcorn in a bag will be the wave of the future but it will never replace the microwave brands at all. Till then, chow and enjoy your popcorn, because I know I will. Ciao Bloggers!

is fuller house mimicking full house?
I have seen countless pictures of the cast today of Full House and they look ok. Although they have aged and that is fine. We all have aged.
Candace Cameron Bure is married and has children, Jodie Sweeten has gone through hell and back with her drug addictions. Andrea Barber, I don't know what happened to her, but she's doing ok now.
John Stamos, HOT AS EVER!!!!!!! And the other two: Bob Saget and what's his name are ok. Bob Saget has gone back to his rochey comedy. And Dave Couler, I haven't heard much about him after full House ended. But every one knows about those twity bit**es 'The Olsen Twits' and their mega star fortune.
After that, they changed, from their appearance to their life style. They won't be coming back for the new Fuller House.
Speaking of which, feels like a copycat version of full house.
Were the writers thinking it's best to rip off full house?
In this version, it involves DJ. (Candace Cameron Bure) who's husband died in a tragic plane crash after the birth of their third son. (So like the first episode of full house in reverse)
She has three boys, a seven year old, a five year old and I guess one year old played by twin boys. (Please never get to stardom)
DJ gets comfort from her sister Stephanie (portrayed by Jodie Sweeten) and her friend Kimmy who has a daughter who is the same age as the older son. C'mon people this is such similarities as the 1980's full house. I guess they had the same writers. I home it doesn't get dark and depressing like the adult version of Brady Bunch where all the Brady Bunch kids are adults and tragedy strikes them at every turn.
But you can't see this on TV, you can only see this on Netflix. When? I don't know. I looked on line, they already posted the theme song, and I don't know if I want to see this. When I was young, I loved Full House, but looking back the only reason I might have loved it was because of John Stamos! I love him and he's amazing and hot. But hopefully, it won't be a failure. Having the same writers might mean the similarities of Full House episodes. We'll see, give it a watch if you want but believe me, I have a feeling DJ and Kimmy's oldest kids will fall in love by the end of the series. Ciao Bloggers!

Is this new year much like the old year?
Does it even feel like a new year? It hasn't dawned on me yet, but it has only been the second day of the new year and yet, I feel this year is like the last.
We already lost two celebrities (Nat King Cole's daughter is one) and I feel this year is just turning into last year.
I'm trying to enjoy it as best as I can but, well...
I feel everyone is thinking the same thing.
We'll still have to deal with deaths of celebrities and miracles, and tragedies that every past year has given us.
This year, is a leap year
This year, we get a new president
This year, we have the summer Olympics
This year, Easter is in March not April
This year will go by so fast, in a blink of an eye and I can't believe that my cousin's first born will be TEN!!!!!!!

This year will go fast and so will next year. But we will see so much happiness and sadness, gladness, joyness and much more
The new year has just begun and I'm happy to survive the last one.
Let's hope this year is a lot happier and pray for more of enjoyment than pain.
God Bless us all and happy new year and new beginnings!!!! Ciao for now, bloggers!
