POEM: The Lone Wolf

THE LONE WOLF

Packs go by,
One by one,

Alone I go,

Away I seek,
No one to be with

To be a person that does
what I do...

Where I am,
No matter,

I am my own self,
Making my own decisions in life,
I am my own person,

Going my own way,
The Lone Wolf
am I

Psycho the movie and more

Why am I blogging about this....

Because this movie is one of the most talked about and most watched horror film ever. Even the score is also horrifying.

In the scene where Janet Leigh's character is driving down the road, the music plays and its hypnotizing to viewer.

But the most watched scene is of course the shower where is stabbed to death. But have you taken a good look at that scene?
Image result for psycho         The blade of the knife never touches her skin and of course that haunting; haunting music that will be known forever as the blood (or chocolate sauce as it was used) swirls in the drain in the tub, and the eye of the victim is shown, dead.

And the murder, well as he says "a boy's best friend is his mother" Norman Bates had a troubled life, and would look after his mother, but there was a terrible side to him, no one knew about.

By the end of the movie, there was no Mrs. Bates, it seemed she was already dead and Norman Bates was just portraying his dead mother, but why? well by the end of the movie, the detective explains everything on why Norman Bates was the way he was.

    Why he was sick,
        Why he was lonely,
Why he was his mother.   It seemed that he killed his mother after his father died since she was a demanding woman, and he didn't want anyone to be with her. Seeing Janet Leigh's character had striking image of Norman Bates mother, he dressed up as her, and killed her.

He did it to many women and it was a sickening too.... but what brings a killer to do such things? the voices in his head of course, the voices of his mother telling her that she is a tramp and him replying: "I don't hate her, I hate what she's become"

Sometimes there is a little inking in killers to do the things they do and it shows in this movie, and parodied it tv shows and in another movie staring Vince Vaughn but the classic will stay with us forever just like the smile on Norman Bates Face, will stay with us forever. And never leave us and scare us to death every Halloween knowing what he really is thinking when he is his mother.

POEM: One Man One Empire

One Man, One Empire
Three Kings

One guy,
thinks he has it all...

soon knows,
he'll lose it all....

Three boys,
all his own...

Two he loves,
one he barely knows.....

He thinks he'll die
Survives another day.....

Confesses what he did
He'll soon be locked away....

He has it all
one empire....

Trying to become
what he desires....

He will soon realize
and lose it all....

What comes up
will clearly fall....

Money, Power, Success
But will family and greed
get in the way of less

One son sick,
Another different
while his youngest just wants to be himself

And all he can do...
is try to live...

Each day,
it grows,
and each day,
he lies,
he cheats,
he kills
to get to where he is today
because he
is

binge watching

    Ever heard of that term????

People are doing it more often now with great shows on Netflix like House of Cards with Kevin Spacy and Orange is the new Black and many other shows.

"Binge watching" started when it was popular to sit in front of a tv for hours and just watch episode upon episode upon episode of your favorite show from the beginning of the series to the recreant episode.

With me I would binge watch on Simpsons or Seinfeld and even other shows that are popular like "Empire" "Hell's Kitchen"

Many shows that have memorable episodes, but when Netflix came around binge watching became the new thing, even DVR'ing was a new term where you tape tv shows and watch them when you feel like watching them.Image result for binge watching Binge Watching is just gluing yourself to the TV and watching episode upon episode of the same show. I do that sometimes, but not all the time.

I don't binge watch everyday. I have a life, but many people do nothing but binge watch on their favorite tv show day after day and that's all they do. It all started when breaking bad became so popular.

Now thanks to tablets and Netflix subscriptions, people can just watch their favorite shows wherever and whenever they want. It's just there waiting for them.

I'm binge watch once in a while but I know when to stop, but others will never know, and I doubt they ever will. Binge Watching will never die down when civilization knows how to hold a remote in their hand and click away their lives, but they do for the enjoyment and for the rush of knowing they love one tv show. Till then I guess we'll have to say thanks Netflix for keeping people glued to their couches and thanks to Hulu who is also responsible for the binge watches keeping them glued to their computers. I guess it's not a bad thing, just watch tv or binge watch sparingly. Thanks for all the late night watching you binge watching people. Ciao Bloggers

is spring upon us yet

Like a snail, it seems to be getting slower and slower as we hit warmer temperatures.

Just now we sprung forward. But is it enough to get us into warmth.

So many Chilling frozen days this year. It was so cold and snow kept coming down and down it would not stop.
Image result for sick of snow jokes  Back then Kids would love to play in the snow, go sledding and skiing and just throw snowballs. For us, Shoveling the walk until we end up getting heart attacks. We have about two more weeks of Winter left. Even though it will feel a little warmer, it doesn't the me cold is yet over.

You can still get snow in the spring. Looking at the snow isn't bad after the flakes die and the sun is out and you see a beautiful and I would like to take pictures of it but you always have to remember there is always a negative to a positive viewing.

Dealing with the disgusting snow and all the wet spots on the road.
Image result for winter sceneryBut always knowing the beauty in the snow on the trees, or the limbs of the trees and knowing it will all melt away just the snowmen as well melt and have a sad look on it's face knowing the end of winter is near. Just struggling to get there and for us to enjoy it and then realizing, when will the rain die. We'll have to deal with the spring allergies and then the hell of summer heat. But for now having spring coming and having the spring celebrations, well would be great to enjoy knowing closer and closer to the end of this year and we just on the middle of March now. Stay warm if you can and Spring will be here and gone before you know it.

Live Long and Prosper

Spock is gone.

Leonard Nimoy has passed away. He would always be known in the Star Trek world as Spock.
I was not a huge fan of the show, I was more Star Wars, but he was always known as half human/half volken species in the show.

With William Shatner, George Tekai and others.... they were in a few movies, episodes and he wrote two books. One called "I am Spock" and another called "I am not Spock"

He did voice work, movies, tv shows, but he will always be known as Spock. And I know, watching the funeral scene after Spock's death in "The Wrath of Kahn" will be harder to watch now than before, and the speech Captain Kirk gave at the end well, just heartwarming.

I was more Star Wars, but I feel as I am a bit of a Trek fan as well, but I wasn't really into the show, just the memories. William Shatner, George Tekai and the others well they're now giving that hand signal Leonard Nimoy gave to them when they started shooting the first movie long time ago in honor of their fallen Trek.
Image result for live long and prosper It hurts to any star trek fan today as it will in the future and that when another Trek dies, we will remember them as well, but for now Leonard Nimoy belongs to heavens and the stars. Goodbye Spock. Live Long and Prosper. Ciao Bloggers.
