Are we lazy? No? Do we work a lot? maybe, maybe not. But eventually, we've seen these "do it yourself" dinners pop up out of no where.
First it was:
The starting trend of food deliveries starting a long time ago and not just with pizza deliveries. Now almost complete meals are in the palm of your hand with a click of a mouse button, or even your phone.
I feel Hello Fresh might be the upgrade to another pop up dinner called
Pre-prepared meals served do you with in a few days. You cook the proteins, but they also give you a recipe and steps on preparing them. They even give you vegetables as well.
There are other companies doing what both Hello Fresh and Blue Apron are doing. Like: Chef'd, Purple Carrot and even Veestro, which prepares meals right at your doorstep so the preparing is already done. It's as if they were a pizza delivery service, but a healthy alternative.

Yeah I know I talked about Pizza before but, this is more what got other companies to make their own delivery markets. Even some pizzerias are getting the ideas of a make it yourself delivery, and I don't mean frozen pizza.
I wonder what would happen if someone didn't know that their Blue Apron or Hello Fresh boxes were at their doorstep, wouldn't animals surround it and devour the food inside?
With this new technology like GrubHub, which brings the food to you by your phone, it could get pizza delivery guys losing their jobs. Even small pizzerias are starting to go out of business because of these pop up make yourself foods in a box.
Maybe, but some people are thinking of grocery shopping could go extinct by 2028. Ten years from now!
If it's true and we rely on internet deliveries like: GrubHub, Uber Eats and even food deliveries in a box, maybe we are lazy, or just want food coming to our doorsteps. Even some grocery stores are doing delivery services for people that are injured and can't get to the store, or even they delivery to the elderly and people who don't drive.
I can tell deliveries are going hi-tech, and it all starts with a click of a mouse button.
Till then, enjoy what you devour, even if it came from the internet, or a box of food ready for you to prepare and eat.
If I had to choose between Hello Fresh and Blue Apron, they both are equally great competitors, and it is up to the consumer to choose the real winner. Ciao Bloggers!
