The Artist we knew named Prince

His name was Prince Rogers Nelson. Born on June 7th 1958. Found Dead on April 21st of this year. Shocked of people and will always be remembered for his music and much more.

Doves are crying and the sky is raining purple raindrops. We mourn a singer, and an artist.

In 1984, he gave us a movie called Purple Rain and gave us some wonderful hits off the album as well called: "Purple Rain" and "When Doves Cry"

He lived mostly in Minnesota and worked there in his recording studio as well. It seems Minnesota is where stars are going to these day, Prince himself. He would always be known as the artist formally known as Prince and use an interesting symbol back in the 80's and 90's. But he later went by Prince.
He would also be known as the Purple one because he lived in purple. Loved the color and I bet bathed in it. But I don't know that.
Purple Rain was one of the best selling albums from his one and only hit. He received an Oscar win for the song.

Image result for Prince In many of his songs, he would replace "to" with 2  or "four" and "for" with 4 as an example with one of his songs. "I would die 4 u"
At the end of 1999, he came out with one amazing hit which captured the coming of the new millennium called: "1999" It worked and was a hit.

He was only 5ft 2in but his voice was an amazement when it came to singing, he was somewhat mysterious in his own way. A lot of people thought he slept with so many women, but he only had two relationships in his lifetime. And one child as well.

Prince will always be known as the artist second to Michael Jackson, but I don't think he wanted that much attention. But we still can't believe he is gone. He will always be remembered for his voice, his wonderful hits over the years, Doves and the color purple. I bet he will be laid to rest in a purple casket, that is sad to say, but true.
We don't know how Prince died, but some people didn't even know he suffered from epilepsy. Did that kill him? Who knows. He was having the flu at the time of his death and will miss his dearly. The color purple will never be the same without him again.

Will Machines take over the world?

A lot of people don't like new technology because they fear it will take over their lives let alone their jobs.

Ever since Apple came out with Macintosh computers and iPods and iPads and iWhatevers, people believe technology is the wave of the future.

But is it really?

Now every debit/credit card have chips on them so every time you purchase something you would end up using the chip, it would take a longer time, and people would eventually think they were and take the card out too soon. It seems as if it is more work than it is easier.

Some companies rely on the use of robotic technology and sometimes robots as well. However, it doesn't mean every company will be relying on a robot to replace a human in the near future.

There are computer chips in almost everything. Our phones, our computers, laptops you name it. But sometimes it can be used to our advantage. Maybe we need robotic technology to make a limb for a child who can't walk or an arm or a Veteran soldier.

It seems there have portraits of robot uprisings and taking over the human race in movies, books and tv, but it doesn't mean it's going to happen today. But then again, there is always the future.

We need machines and technology because if not, we would be stuck in the past and everyone knows that if it wasn't for some of the great technologies we have today to stride us forward, we wouldn't be able to know what we have to forward in the near future.

Technology will always be going forwards, but robots in the working field might or might not happen, but there are machines that are in use in use in the workplace today, lifting boxes and moving from one room to another, technology will be moving us forward and into the future.

We can fear it or not, embrace it, but we have to remember that we can't be addicted to it 24/7.
Till then, we have to remember everyday, new machines and technology will be showing us how to further and somewhat better our life whether we want to or not, so enjoy the ride. Ciao Bloggers, and don't fear any robotic uprising.

Queen Elizabeth is 90 and going strong

On April 21st, The Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth will be hitting the sweet 90 years old.

She has already hit the goal of longest raining monarch, surpassing both Queen Victoria and King George III.

She is one amazing lady, already at the age of 90, Queen Elizabeth is a force to be reckon with. She can still give orders and still have people bowing to her at every whim.
Image result for queen turns 90    She is a sweet heart and many people don't know much about her life, but when the movie the King's Speech came out with Colin Firth portraying her father, Queen Elizabeth thought it was one of the best portrayals of her father in many years.

She had a sister named Margaret who died at 71 and she was a Princess as well as having a grandmother named Queen Mary.

There is so much royalty and history in Queen Elizabeth's history and now with Prince William's new son and welcoming another, there can be more people in line for the throne.
In 2002, Queen Elizabeth was marked the "Golden Jubilee" which meant the 50th anniversary of her year on the throne. Not yet surpassing Queen Victoria but was close enough to soon, in 2012 was crowned having the "Diamond Jubilee" 60th anniversary. That is one amazing Queen.

Will she make it to her seventieth? Time will tell, and will ascend to the throne next? Prince William's wife, Kate, or someone else? Queen Elizabeth has done what many royals have longed to do... surpass and become the longest living monarch on British History. God Bless Queen Elizabeth, happy birthday!!! Ciao for now bloggers.

Spring snow

I have a feeling we are not done with snow yet...

Yesterday, Pennsylvania had some snow touched down and some people couldn't believe it.

Didn't we get a prediction saying that we would have an early spring? Didn't feel like that to me. It's already spring, but it doesn't feel like Spring.

Sometimes, you can't always put your faith on a groundhog. Usually the predictions aren't always 100% accurate. Weather can be mysterious and at other times, it can be deadly.

Sometimes we see snow in April. Once we had it on April Fools day when I was a child and we had school off, no fooling. But this is becoming ridiculous. Is global warming to blame, or is it just a change in the year because we have an extra day? I doesn't matter. But it's already the middle of April.

We have to deal with the showers of April to bring the flowers of May and so on and so forth.

I don't always trust a groundhog on every second of February to say oh "six more weeks of winter" on which we like to call hell, and sometimes it will predict an early spring. And it is different everywhere. In California they predicted six more weeks of winter, In Arkansas their groundhog died before prediction. That's somewhat sad.

Some people around here in Philly are not pleased with this snow and are sick of it, wait till summer hits. With my prediction, it's going to be hot as hell when July and August come around, and they would be wanting the snow back.

Image result for liam neeson i will find you groundhog  For some reason my predictions and premonitions are coming true. I knew Villanova was going to win, and I knew a boy was going to be the last winner on the final American Idol. And I feel that the winner of the Voice will be a girl.

And now, I know we have a week or two left of winter. But it still is spring. even if it doesn't feel like it. Spring will go by so quick in a blink of an eye that we will not be aware of it until it's gone. Enjoy the winter/spring we are having, it will go by fast, like this year. Till then Ciao for now bloggers!

Villanova 31 years later

Well it finally has happened they won!

Villanova Wildcats have won! It was like a miracle occurred on the fourth of April, along with me not getting sick (although I am stuffed up), they won.

Well what happened was they were against a tough team, North Carolina. I have nothing against that state alone. North Carolina one state that has a tough basketball team. Michael Jordan went to that college and well, let's say he was not please with North Carolina's loss. They were neck and neck through the whole game and....

Around the last few seconds, North Carolina tied the score to 74 and all of us were devastated and praying that we would not go into overtime so, Kris Jenkins, made a three point shot right at the final buzzer that clinched a win and a victory for Villanova Wildcats, and WE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some people thought it wouldn't work, but it seemed as if it was some sort of miracle and he did it right as the buzzer sound. We just went BS crazy and so did most of Philly.

Image result for villanova 31 years later      We had to wait 31 years for this, but it was worth it. Last year we thought it would be it, but it seemed we went too short and there was a girl on a piccolo in the band tearing her eyes, this year she's tearing her eyes out for joy. So many people went into the streets after the win tearing apart most of Villanova. It was amazing. We haven't felt this was since 2008 when the Phillies won the world series. That was eight years ago. Image result for Kris Jenkins winning shot  I'm not a huge fan of Villanova, but having a father that eat, sleeps and bleeds Villanova wildcats will make me feel like I'm a fan of them as well. Every year during March madness he routes for them every year. He went to Villanova and majored in accounting. So he is very much a fan of the wildcats, like anyone that is a fan that went to that school. I wanted to go there, but too expensive.

This year is our year, like it was in 85 when I heard mostly nurses screaming bloody murder in CHOP when I was a sick baby suffering from poor health. 31 years of torment, sadness, and waiting year after year for a championship and now we have it.

Congratulations Villanova Wildcats, you deserve it!
