What is Mystery Diners????
Well it is a show, where I think it's a definite fake, where restaurant owners call this one man up name Charles Stiles.
He, along with some other people go to the restaurant that needs help because the owner thinks someone in the restaurant is either stealing money from them, or they are tampering with the food... god knows what. And I just think they just want to be on the show and get all the glory.
I don't know if the owners even have a problem with their restaurant. I just think they are getting the person who is causing the problems, fired for no apparent reason. They just want their restaurant and themselves to be on TV, so what do they do, they get Charles Stiles (who I think is going along with this charade) and asks for their help.
Other times, I think it's just they need help so badly they call him and his mystery diner friends to source out the problem and fire the person doing it, and it always ends in "4 months later" the person fired either gets another job or is never seen again. I don't understand it. I like the show yes, but I know it's all smoke and mirrors. Charles Stiles is real, but everything else, you can see it's just fake. Fake, fake, fake!
A lot of reality shows are like that: Hell's kitchen, Master Chef, mostly cooking shows that have turned into reality shows... even cooking shows themselves have been going in that direction. Showing fake food that they've cooked, saying "they have done it" I can see it is fake from a mile away. When they cut to commercial, a real chef places the finished product on the table for the 'faux chef' to say they did when commercial break is over.
Mystery Diner is more like finding fakers, but seeing that the viewer ship is not high, I don't know what will happen next. All I know is it is enjoyable I will admit, but, I know it is not real. Neither is other "Reality" shows. *So many of them now* But it's best to leave the judging to yourself and say weather Reality is or is not an ugly word. BTW: The Kardashians are beyond fake and nowhere Reality! Till then. Ciao Bloggers, and enjoy your memorial day weekend.

what is really in chicken tenders, nuggets... even strips???
Why am I blogging about this? Well people always wondered about what really is in a chicken tender or nugget. Even McNuggets "claim" they have white breast meat, but deep down... they really are processed crap.
Other places would try to say their chicken tenders are better, even Perdue, or Tyson the big name bird companies. They have their version of chicken breast patties they call strips or tenders... and why all the different names for them anyway?
Why are they always called strips or fingers (Chickens don't have fingers) or tenders? They don't tender the meat. The best thing to call them are strips of breast meat, cut into strips, breaded cooked (mostly fried) and served to the public. But that's what they say.
Behind closed doors, nuggets, aren't always considered part of the breast meat. It could even the dark meat as well. I'm not a big fan of chicken nuggets. Never was, never will be. With chicken strips however, it varies. Sometimes it depends on the breading they use and if they are any good. I don't like the ones at chilli's. They really fried them to a crisp and are really, really greasy. Not a fan of that.
Been to other places and tried chicken strips in other places. Applebees has OK chicken tenders (or whatever you want to call them) the fries however, aren't that good. The ones at Longhorn's steakhouse is OK too, but are so small and there are so many. TGI Friday's chicken tenders are OK too, not the best but not the worst.
I don't think I'll ever find a great chicken strip meal like I would with Pizza, but don't think I want to either. Although the best pizza ever is not even in PA, it's all the way in North Carolina. But I'll blog about that another time.
Just be careful with purchasing or ordering chicken, strip wise or any other way. You'll never know if it's truly a real chicken or fake, but it's best to eat it anyway. We all need protein. Till then, Ciao bloggers.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!!
Today is a day where stop and take the to tell how much we love our mothers, god-mothers, grandmothers and how much our moms really mean to us.
My mom is my rock, my heart and soul and I love her so much. She means the world to me, and everyone should know that their mothers have done so much for them that mother's day doesn't always have to be on a second Sunday of May. It could just be any day.
Mother's day is one day of the week where we can stop and take some time to say "I love you, Mom" and give her breakfast in bed, or take her out to dinner or give her a big hug and really show her how much you care. Dad's are there for the fun and Mom's are there for the love and caring.
I know my godmother loves owls so I got her an owl to protect her garden as well as some flowers as well. Grandma got a card, and I can't reveal what got my mom.... but I'm always giving her love.
But for people who lost their mothers, their mothers will always be there in spirit, in heart, and always as an angel.
So today, be with your mom, and show her how much you love and care for her. Till then, Ciao Bloggers!! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

MRI's why I have to deal with them
If you don't know what MRI stands for, it means Magnetic Resonance Imagining. Why do I wanna blog about this?
I just came back from an MRI. I have to deal with having an IV in me all day long. I hate needles. I just try to hold my breath, count to ten and let them stick it in me. Praying that it will come out soon.
I've been having trouble with my heart since I was born. Had to go through huge surgeries one after another. I was only a little girl when it happened but it feels as it just happened yesterday. My family has been sticking by my side ever since my huge Fontan Procedure that I had when I was very little. Sadly, had a stroke and now have a scar on the side of my brain since I can't remember much about that.
First off I have to be in this huge tube, it's like being a cannoli, or something rolled up. It is so dark, you have to stare at this gray tube with a purple line through it. There are noises that are so loud that even the earplugs they give me don't even help. Mostly the noises are loud to quiet to "Bang, Bang, Bang" These sounds are really loud.
Then someone tells me to breathe in, then out, then they want me to hold my breath. That will take a while and believe me, one to two hours later, it's over.
Some people get MRI's but different one's. Mine is for my heart (of course), but some people do have MRI's for their heads, bones and other parts of the body, but I think the heart is the most hardest for for the MRI's. More equipment is used and the longer it is, depending on the heart's condition, and me having a three chambered heart, they have to see through all the pictures they take (and that's why I have to hold my breath) it seems me going though year after year just to see how my heart is and having to stay in one position, not moving for almost two hours as the doctors look at my heart and put something cold though my veins from the IV, knowing I just want to know if my heart will ever be healthy. All I know is, it is ok.
Till then, Ciao bloggers!
