Some families are different when it comes to meals. With Thanksgiving being the most festive in eating food, there are some people that hold traditions like watching the parade or football. Even a dog show is seen on Thanksgiving. For some families, they will eat early, while others tend to sit and chat about what they plan to do when the new year comes. They would eat late, some even around six o'clock.
With sides, you have your homemade cranberry sauce, biscuits, green bean casserole as well as sweet potato casserole. For me...I prefer the jellied cranberry sauce and maybe some rolls. And dessert, everyone loves pie. I, on the other hand, am more of an ice cream person. Unless the pie is chocolate cream.
Some tv shows have a special Thanksgiving episode. Like one from friends, another from Big Bang Theory and the special Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. There are some specials on tv as well as memorable movies people love to watch. Like Home Alone or Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory.
Everyone has traditions, special in their own way as they are. Whether it's finding the right food, playing football with family, or helping someone that needs help, Thanksgiving is always going to be special for somebody. This year, it's going to be 30 days till Christmas when Thanksgiving is here. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. The Holidays are now here
