This is more on my opinion based so don't get angry at me when I give my view. 10 being best fries ever and 1 being garbage
Starting with:
Wendy's- known for their square hamburgers, Wendy's fries aren't bad, but sometimes they can be soggy. Other times they can be salty. But what is good about these fries, is dipping them into a chocolate frosty to get a sweet and salty taste. For me: 6/10
Smash burger- not known to many people, and is considered a bland French fry. The best to do with these fries is to dip them in honey mustard, and their honey mustard isn't that great. Their fries are ho-hum, but pair it with a burger, and it might work out. For me: 3/10
Arby's- "Gotta be an Arby's night" Meaning curly fries are waiting for you. I've had curly fries, they're ok. Full of spice and flavor yes, but the curl is what Arby's is going to be known for. I feel, I might have tried them before but....it's been a while. Ok, but for me: 4.5/10
Five guys fries- Had them before. Very tender, and also greasy. You can even see the grease coming from the paper they are lying on. Out of all the fries I'll be talking about, it is tasty, but this is one of the greasiest fries, and maybe it's worth a step up worthy of my taste. For me: 7.5/10
Checkers- These fries are loaded with spice. Pepper flakes are shown on each one. The spice makes it pop, and it is one of the tastiest of the fries. Too bad there isn't a Checker's near us. But thank god they put their fries in grocery stores for us to purchase. For me: 8/10
Burger King (fries)- I think Burger King has been changing their fries a lot? How well, in the 90's it actually tasted good, too bad for us it was actually fattening. How did they change it? They used thicker potatoes, and made them healthier. Do I like them? It's ok. I'm not a huge fan of Burger king in general. For me: 6/10
Burger King (chicken fries)- These fries are made from white meat chicken. It's like a thin version of a chicken finger. I've tried them, they're fine, but they are high in salt and calorie intake. So, biting into one is like biting in fifty percent of your calorie intake a day. They're ok, but for me: 5/10
And finally the final French fry...the one everyone claims is the best French fries ever made. And, I might have to agree with them, but it seems there is another story behind...
McDonald's fries- First off back in the seventies and eighties, if you were a vegetarian, I don't think those fries would be suitable for you. They were cooked in beef juices made from the meat patties. But by the 90's they got healthier by using olive oil instead. Then, they decided to get rid of Super Size options. But they still are one of the most mouth water French fries from fast food era.
I've grown up with these fries since I was little. I've loved them when I was young. When they changed the recipe, I felt they didn't change the taste. Sometimes I wonder if they're even real fries, or made out of potato bread. They never age, that scares me as well, but deep down...they're delicious. For me: 8/10
You like fries, like fast food restaurants love customers. We'll always admit what is the best and worst of the fast food restaurants. I rarely go anymore. Maybe once or twice a month, but that's it.
Fries will be made by fast food restaurants, or frozen to be cooked at home. I like Alexa fries, as well as Checkers. But it depends on the restaurant and the potato. But for now, out of the three fast food giants, McDonald's has the best French fries
