Born Sia Furler, she always wanted to cover her face with wigs or big bows or heavy make up when on stage, But reticently, she revealed her face for the first tine in a long time.
She has mulit talent hits like "Chandler" "Elastic Heart" and even "Titanium" (with the help of David Guetta)
She had an interesting life working as a singer-actor most of it. And I think of her as a second Lada Gaga but without all the weirdness attached to it.
Sia didn't want the world to know her face for a long time which meant showing up to performances behind the scenes singing while others would portray in her music videos like Shia LeBuff and someone else in a Sia wig cage fighting in an "Elastic Heart" music video (which I think is F-d up in my opinion) and in "Chandler" she would be in her wig once more riding on a Chandler.
Sia was in a relationship in 1997 only for it to be tragically cut short with her boyfriend killed in a car accident. She started becoming more popular, not with the wigs and the big bows but the songs she sang. Out of all of them, I think I love "Birds set Free" which came from her recent album "THIS IS ACTING" which features her face on the cover smooshed together. Confused as it is, most of her album covers features her in a very interesting way. Covered in a tattoos, or just a wig, anyway.
It's as if a new way to express herself in a way only she can express. I also love listening to "Elastic Heart" without seeing that confusing music video to go along with it.
Sia is also a full time vegan, contributing to PETA and saving animals. Most of her music videos do not require using fur or harming any animals of any way.
She has also been doing acting, voice and even appeared in movie and TV roles. Like the TV show Transparent where comedian Jeffrey Tambor dresses up as a woman because he is a transgender.
Sia reminds of Lady Gaga non stopping and a triple threat, but in their difference by song and by appearance it doesn't mean they are not going to stop, it means they are meant for something greater and for Sia, it's reaving to the world...."Just because I wore a Wig, and took it off it doesn't mean my style is gone, it just mean's...it's time to reveal a new me." and Sia we are ready for you, and always were."
