If so, then congrats, you've soon one of the best movies there is to offer staring Christopher Lloyd as Doc Brown and Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly. Loved everyone of them.
The first was the best and so was the second. The third was good too.
But then came a cartoon that reminded me a little bit of the same styling of Back to the Future but in a different way. It was call Rick and Morty.
It was about a grandfather who was into technology and traveling to other dimensions that could also screw with his family and the future. He brought his grandson named Morty.
His family gets involved as well like his sister Summer and Rick's daughter. But I never knew much about the show, but I saw the resemblance of Rick and Morty being a lot like Doc and Marty McFly, the Doc and Marty were not related.
Doc and Marty were friends. Doc always gave Marty great advice while Rick didn't give Morty much helpful advice, sadly he would end up harming his grandson or get him in more trouble.
The voice who created the show would burp most of the time because he would use that effect when he was starting out the show.
But since the third season, Rick rarely has burped, but I've only seen one episode of a continuation from the ending of season two which almost ended in chaos.
Do I find this show similar to Back to the future? Yes and no. Yes because of the grandfather and grandson being so similar to Doc and Marty but not the premise of the movie and show. In the movies, Marty goes back in time, then in the future and then, to 1885 dressing as cowboys.
I prefer both Rick and Morty and Back to the Future. They have their own unique way of entertainment and I enjoy it as well as a lot of others do. And believe me seeing Marty McFly and Doc Brown on Jimmy Kimmel was very entertaining as well, and them knowing that the Cubs wins the world series (one year late)
I got into Rick and Morty recently and loved it. Great show great acting great story and I will enjoy it for days to come, and if you see it from the beginning, you'll realize the parodies it makes from Back to the future without being Back to the future.
Till then enjoy both shows.
