It seems for us, like Amazon, Google is another website that has grown to popularity within the years. It is starting to copy Amazon in everyway.
Started by Larry Page and Sergey Brin, Google was started up around 1995. However; it wasn't a huge name as it is today.
It started to grow in popularity by 1999, but soon, before we knew it... it became a household name.
Making the site Ask Jeeves go into early retirement as well as other search site going obsolete.
With the sign of Google, during Holidays, they would change the font into something interesting. Halloween, it would use pumpkins to replace the 'o' and have a witch in the background.
Other times, it would be famous people with their birthdays:
Martin Luther King,
George Washington,
Sylvia Plath.... a lot.
Google Doodles started showing up. What are Google doodles?
With Google Doodles, Google logo would change into something interesting, different even amazing at sometimes.
Google also inquired: YouTube, Gmail and even Google Maps.
They are famous for people that wanna use a Gmail account since Yahoo was also going out of business as well as the original AOL site. No more "You've got Mail"
The logo of Google has changed within the years as well. Sometimes, their logo is good, and the one we have today, I have no complaints on.
Some people on Google offer people to make their own google doodle.
They use their themes on Holidays like Halloween or Christmas or even when it is time to Vote.
Google doodles started around 2010. Starting to gain more popularity as the years went on. With "Doodle for Google", it gives you the opportunity to submit your own doodle google.
Even if Google is getting popular, and are now expanding to tablets and their own "Alexa", I feel they want to copy Amazon with their own logo in tact.
What is going to happen for google in the long run? Will it end, or will it last forever???
To me, Google is here to stay, if it weren't for them, You Tube would be gone as well.
I don't mind Google. It's a good site to find what you are looking for and your Gmail is worth it.
Back when I was kid, Google was starting out, when I was fifteen, it was born.
Kids today should be grateful for what Google is helping them with, Homework, going on fun websites and well, You Tube.
Thanks Google for over 19 years of finding what we needed.
