Holidays coming quicker (again)

Even in October, I've seen Christmas commercials. OMG it's so annoying.

It seems, like I said before, Thanksgiving is becoming more forgetful, and with it being early this year, people  just put up their Christmas decorations after getting rid of their Halloween decorations.

Hallmark has already started showing Christmas movies and it seems as if they won't stop until January.

Some radio stations will be playing nothing but Christmas carols in Mid November. For me, I just think it's too soon.

I have to worry about my birthday let alone Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Thanksgiving will be early this year, and late next year. For it being early, I can feel that will not be as popular as Christmas.

It seems there is a tower of holidays in my mind at the bottom, lesser known holidays like Columbus Day, Labor Day and other holidays that involve not much to be excited about. And on the top: CHRISTMAS

There are movies, music tv specials, tv shows, everything that involves Christmas is there.

I have talked about my favorite Christmas songs as well as movies and tv specials. I even talked about how Thanksgiving gets pushed aside for Christmas.

For me, I think every year, we feel as if the holidays get closer the lesser known ones are pushed aside, or placed in the summer, like Halloween.

Does that mean with Christmas coming in about seven weeks, will Thanksgiving just be a blur to some people, or will we combined both Christmas and Thanksgiving into one huge holiday??

I think it's time we take a step back and enjoy the holidays! Till then, remember to think of others as you feast on Turkey and hand out presents and that the holidays are special for a reason.
