Halloween becoming more popular

  Depending on the situation, and where you are. America, England, Russia, doesn't matter.


          Halloween is right around the corner. Which means, candy, parties and even costumes.


A long time ago, it wasn't much as a night for kids to dress up and get candy from strangers. Now a days, with horror movies, costumes becoming more for adults, it seems to becoming a popular holiday.

  Won't ever top Christmas, but it's becoming as important as Valentine's day and Thanksgiving.

  Some movies, horror ones of course are starting to become the new trend when Autumn rolls around.


It starts getting colder, and the days become shorter.

  Some scary characters are created for movies and TV shows. Some famous shows make Halloween episodes for fun, and others for scare.

Treehouse of Horror is a Simpsons tradition as well....with the new one being the 666th episode. Ok that's just crazy.


     Halloween wasn't always the best holiday for some people. Some not wanting to put out jack o lanterns, scare crows, funny or spooky ghosts.
   Others just don't want to associate with Halloween.


For me, I just like the candy. But is it true.... is Halloween gaining more popularity.

There are even specials that happen around Halloween, such as, Apple Bobbing, corn mazes (some scary) and with TV, there are specials like "It's the great pumpkin, Charlie Brown"

There are other Halloween movies that are popular like:

"NIGHTMARE ON ELM ST."
"HOCUS POCUS"
"HALLOWEEN"
"FRIDAY the 13th"


For some people, scary movies are best watched around the end of October, right around the time Halloween comes.

   For me, I don't mind Horror movies, unless it's about heights and I end up getting Vertigo because of it. Or something that involves needles

Till then...Every year it seems as if Halloween has something new to offer, wither it's from a movie, tv show, or some new candy coming out. It doesn't mean it's getting less popular, but before you know it,

  something crazy will come along, like a psychotic clown roaming the neighborhoods before Halloween starts, or a crazed killer.



           I think that Halloween is gaining more of a following of new comers going to Halloween parties, watching spooky movies and even old tv classics. Candy is becoming more of a new thing, with crazy glow in the dark candy wrappers, or other candy bars that have ooze inside.

  For me, a regular Hershey bar or a Twix will satisfy my cravings as Halloween comes, and goes like it does every  year.
