What happened to the soup?

  What is the soup? On Entertainment network, there was a program called "Talk Soup," But I've never seen that. However, a comedian named Joel McHale started to host a show called "The Soup" eliminating talk in the title.

Joel would make the show hilarious. Mocking talk shows, dramas, even making fun of kid shows. He even had buddies around to help him like a man dressed in a bikini.

  Sadly, all things must come to an end. Joel McHale left the soup and it ended...but wouldn't for long.



Back in those days, they would have funny segments like: "Tales from home shopping", "What the kids are watching", "The mail nurse", "Stay out of it, Nick Lachay.", "Take some E!"

   All the segmants were funny. And then, at the end, they would do the clip of the week.

  The clip of the week would show a clip from that particular week that was hilarious, and worth the watch. Some of them cracked me up.


  Another favorite clip of mine was "Spaghetti Cat" where a tv show showed a picture of what looked to be a puppet of a cat eating Spaghetti, and ever since, Joel has made headlines with making fun of this cat. It is hilarious. I would crack up seeing this cat roam around the soup.


 2015 was the last we would see of Joel McHale and the soup. Now....

There's a new host. Female named Jade Cata-Preta. I don't know who she is, but I have seen her and...she is NOT FUNNY.
Either she's trying too hard, or the writing isn't as great as it used to be. I actually wanted to try to host the Soup. I was funny of course, but it seemed with it ending, it would not work for me.

They still have the same style, but I can tell the writing was lacking, or something is off. I just can't watch it anymore, so I just see clips of Joel McHale from the soup.


Will this new Soup last. I hope not, but then again, if they bring Joel McHale back, they could eventually come back to normality. Till then, I'll stick to the classics
